While the default joycon is a great controller, the Pro Wireless Controller is simply a must own for anyone used to playing on the other consoles (PS4 and XboxOne). This controller is closer to the Xbox in terms of ergonomics, but for anyone with adult hands, it's an essential peripheral if you don't want to suffer from arthritis trying to make the most out of the tiny switch joycon controller. Battery life is right there with the other wireless console controllers as well, if not better.

I love this controller. For splatoon and monster hunter especially, it works extremely well and comfortably. However, for d-pad heavy games like puyo puyo Tetris, the d-pad issues make it almost unplayable, as you will find yourself frequently hard dropping pieces in places they don't belong, costing you games.

I really like this comtroller over the Joy-cons for the price. The buttons are larger and makes mashing buttons easier for adult hands. I wish there was a contrasting color to the buttons to the controller, but otherwise a very good shape and size.

Way better to use this controller for gaming than the joycans. way more comfotable.

This controller feels great regardless of hand size. Its durable and functions better than my ps4 or xbox controller.

Prior to making this purchase, I did my due diligence and conducted bit of research regarding this controller, which I was going to buy anyway. The results were all the same: everyone praised the Pad HIGHLY and recommended all owners of the Switch get one. I followed suit, which I was already dead set on doing anyway, and let me tell you, this one here is DEFINITELY worth EVERY penny. The most comfortable you will probably ever use up to now.

If you're gonna be playing on the TV with your switch this is almost a must have. Controller feels great in the hand, all the buttons have a nice feel, especially the D-pad which may be my favorite I've used. Price is the only downside at 70 bucks, but it does pack some nice tech in there like HD rumble, and an amiibo reader. You also can't beat the 40 hour rated battery life, as well as the included high quality USB-c to USB-a cable. Going to be getting at least one more once Mario Kart 8 Deluxe comes out for some good multiplayer.

This switch pro controller is a great size compared to the Nintendo switch Joy cons. It fits more comfortably in my hand.

this is one of the most comfortable controllers that I have ever used. It just feels good to hold. My only real complaint, like several other people, is the D-pad. It will sometimes register a left or right button press as diagonal. It’s not that big of a deal, but it is something to be aware of.

This is a must have for longer gaming sessions. The joy-con controllers are great but to really enjoy a couch session, this is needed!

This controller is very comfortable, rivaling the Xbox and PlayStation controllers. The battery life is also long and it charges quickly.

This is an amazing controller for the Switch 1 and Switch 2. The only downside with Switch 2 is that it doesn't wake up the console.

I know what you’ve been doing. You’ve been looking at all different types of controllers and trying to find the best one for you. Whether it’s third party, licensed products, or this official branded one - this is the one that is the best, bottom line. I tried others but they always missed one or two features that I couldn’t go without. This control has everything and is very supported by Nintendo. Great build quality too. Just buy it!
