I know what you’ve been doing. You’ve been looking at all different types of controllers and trying to find the best one for you. Whether it’s third party, licensed products, or this official branded one - this is the one that is the best, bottom line. I tried others but they always missed one or two features that I couldn’t go without. This control has everything and is very supported by Nintendo. Great build quality too. Just buy it!

Battery life seems like never ends during a long day playing. It feels confortable while playing. I just simple love it

Very comfortable to hold and lasts for hours. Paired with the switch quickly and it's great for mario kart and breath of the wild.

This controller is exactly the kind of controller a Switch player needs as it has the portability factor, with the joy-cons, but this controller just provides much more versatility specifically when you are not on the go or just want to lounge and play multi-player with a friend without your hands cramping up! Highly recommend this one for anyone who struggles to play with the joy-con grips. Battery life is fantastic as well, make sure to put it on charge for small intervals as with any wireless device it can be overcharged. One thing to point out is that it only pairs to ONE switch at a time. So if this is for a household with multiple Switch Consoles you may need to think about getting more than one. Otherwise the pairing process will need to happen every time another person wants to use it on their Switch. Hope this helps!

A really awesome quality controller. It has responsive buttons and a nice weight to it. It has NFC built in, HD rumble, and motion controllers as well. I dock it a star because it would be nice if the controller had headphone support

The Switch's main strength is in its portability; however, when it's being used as a console, the joycons don't make the best controller. That's where this comes in. The controller fits very comfortably in medium sized hands, and I would imagine that it would be adequate in both small and large hands as well. Including the NFC scanner and gyroscopic sensor, along with the vibration motor make it the controller that should've been released with the Wii U. Overall, a must have if you're set on playing the Switch on TV.

Great controller obviously inspired by the Xbox One version. Excellent battery life. I've been playing a lot since launch and only just needed to charge it a week later. Don't like the fact you can't remove the battery and the price is way too expensive vs. an Xbox or PS4 controller but still a nice product.

Very solid construction, nice weight, and feels very comfortable in the hand. Worth the money.

Using the Joycons with the grip is awkward. This controller provides an alternative, and it's pretty nice. The price is high, and while I'd say it's worth it, I feel like it could be nicer for what you're charged. It doesn't feel like anything particularly special as far as first-party controllers go.

After trying to make the best of what came in the box. The Joy-cons and the grip, it just never felt fully comfortable as a legit controller. Yes so many benefits of playing with Joycons but if you're playing a larger game that doesn't have the gimmicky joy con requirements, this is the only way to go. I haven't really tried any 3rd party controllers but I feel the only way to go is get the official Nintendo brand.

A good replacement for the standard Switch controller. Better button feedback and grip for the hands. Price is a little too high.
