Great battery life. The triggers feel great. Could be a little bigger and definitely cheaper but a great controller overall

This is the best controller you can get for your Switch; it’s also the only controller officially made by Nintendo for their own system (aside from Joy-Cons). Bluetooth 3.0 for a seamless connection, a 40-hour battery life, built-in amiibo functionality, and rumble/haptic feedback. If you truly want the best of the best for your Nintendo Switch, go ahead and grab this controller today.

This is the most comfortable controller I've ever used. The letters on the buttons are part of the material used to make the whole button, versus ink, so they haven't worn down at all and are still easily read. We also get at least 16 hours of out the charge, and recharging is easy using the USB cord. I often play with the charing cord attached as well, and it doesn't impair anything.

    A Necessary Purchase

I am a big fan of Nintendo's Pro Controllers and personally wouldn't consider purchasing a console without purchasing these as well. Using the Pro Controller makes playing games so much more enjoyable, especially for long gaming sessions. I prefer the Wii U Pro Controller to the Switch Pro Controller, but the controller is still good enough to justify the purchase. I think it is a bit overpriced, so I would recommend waiting to see if you can find a deal on them (maybe Black Friday).

I have tried third party pro controllers for the switch because they were cheaper but after buying this I can honestly say it is very much worth the extra money if you’re debating buying it. Feels well made and sturdy.

I was disappointed to see the price of the Pro Controller at launch. If you are on a tight budget or you play mostly in portable mode, you can skip it, as every game is playable without it (and a few games like Odyssey are arguably better without it). However, I would still recommend it to most Switch owners. It's the best and most comfortable way to play at home. It is wireless, has excellent battery life, and it can make good use of HD Rumble and motion controls when necessary.

I’m used to these style of controllers and so I decided to get this for the switch. Bonus points for it also mostly working on the switch 2. Minus points for Nintendo greed.

The remotes that latch to the switch we seem to be buying under a year over and over again. I love the idea but they don’t last. We purchased this remote ad a helper when playing on the tv and it significantly better for normal wear and tear. Wish the “classic” Nintendo one was available as I wound purchase that one too.

The pro controller is pricey but a great controller. It is quite comfortable in hand. The battery life is actually consistent with their claims of 40 hours (I was so happy I played Zelda for hours for days and didn't have to charge it like the dual shock 4). The face buttons are good. The shoulder buttons and triggers fit well in hand. The sticks are fine by me. The plus/minus/home/select buttons are a bit close together but not annoyingly so. Oddly enough for Nintendo the directional pad is good but not as good as their past controllers. I have had instances where I pressing it on angle for up or down resulted in a right press. It hasn't happened enough to be a negative for me but it has happened. The rumble feels fine. One big plus for me is that Nintendo decided to use USB-C for their Switch and so happy they did. Connecting this to the dock to charge is way better than my dual shock 4. You don't need to worry about connecting the wrong way anymore. Overall a great controller.

This controller is a massive improvement from the Joy-Con controllers. The button/stick layout feels more natural, and the grips are much more comfortable. My only gripe is that the controller is a little overpriced.
