Got this for me to use and play the switch with my son since the switch controller is a bit small for me. Now he stole it and uses it and makes me use the switch one anyway. I also love that we can charge this right off of the switch console dock rather than having to replace batteries like the aftermarket ones. Definitely worth the extra cost just for that reason in my opinion.

If you play on your Switch a lot, a Pro Controller if vital. It is much more comfortable than holding the Switch. However, if you don't play docked much then it's likely not going to help you, other than with comfortability.

Definite upgrade over the standard joycons with great battery life

This is how controllers should be made. I cant believe I waited so long to get one. The only controller that tops this one is the GameCube controller if you can find it. The only bummer is that this controller is really expensive in comparison to other versions.

This is a comfortable controller and has a good battery life. I prefer to use this then the stock controllers.

I was iffy about the weight and feel of the controller at first since I was coming from a Xbox Pro controller and a Razer Wolverine. I was instantly satisfied with this Pro Controller, weight ended up being perfect, buttons feel great, easy to connect to the switch. My biggest joy is the analog sticks are so much better then the Joycons. If you are on the fence, don't be. It will be money well spent.

While the joy cons are light and fun, and even feel pretty good on the “controller grip” accessory, I like the feel of an actual controller (I’m more of a PlayStation gamer honestly). Even though it looks a little bulky, it actually feels great in my hands. The battery lasts a really long time in between charges too! I also helps that it’s a little cheaper than the joy cons!

One of the best feeling controllers I’ve ever used. It makes going back to the original joycons cumbersome and makes Xbox/ps controllers something you wish they were.

This is a very ergonomic controller and I prefer using it over the Joy-Cons on the Switch. The buttons are a little mushy for my taste, I prefer more of a click to them like the ones on the Xbox One. The D-Pad is definitely the weakest point of this controller. I tried using it with Tetris 99 and sometimes it would register one direction as another. I also haven't been too impressed with the battery life, especially compared to the Pro Controller on the Wii U, which lasted nearly 80 hrs compared to this one's 40 hrs. Overall, a solidly built controller but leaves much to be desired, especially comparing it to a PS4 or Xbox One controller. Unfortunately, there aren't too many solid options for the Switch for this type of controller.

If you are thinking about purchasing this controller, go for it! It works wonderfully! It has a great internal battery and charges quickly through a USB cord that plugs right into the system. I have small hands and the controller is still comfortable and easy to hold. It was also very easy to pair with the system. All you have to do is plug it in. Definitely worth the purchase!

As a gamer trying to use a Switch, this was the best decision I could have made. It’s got longer battery life than any of my PS4/5 controller and is almost identical otherwise. Worth every penny.

Good controller, works well. Was lagging a little at first, but may just be due to the switch being in a closet next a projector at the time. Works perfect in my living room.

Yeah, the Pro Controller is a must-have for gamers looking to dock their Switch and rock out from the comfort of their favorite chair whilst playing on their TV. It's got great haptic feedback and very responsive controls. It is a solid controller, too. Doesn't feel as flimsy as the Joycons being loaded into that frame which comes with the system. It's just awesome. Recommended.
