Works great! Very smooth run! I love the ifit program!

I am an avid runner and put about 50 miles per week on my treadmill. I have tried out a lot of different treadmills and this Proform Pro 5000 is the best that I have had! In the past I have owned an older model Proform and also a Nordic track. I’m so excited to put many, many miles on this amazing new beautiful machine! The box it came in was a bit of a beast, but once we got the thing down in our basement and assembled it has been all smooth. The first thing that I noticed is how quiet it is! I love to watch shows and do running classes and on my old treadmill I had to turn the volume up on my earbuds all the way to hear well over the loud motor. This treadmill is so quiet that I can easily hear, even when I am doing sprints at a high speed. I have been so pleased with how quiet it is! The second thing I noticed is that the shock absorbency is wonderful. Running on this treadmill has felt easier on my body- my knees, feet, hips have felt less impact than on other machines. The aspect that I am the very happiest about is how smooth the treadmill is, especially when going between different speeds and inclines. I do a lot of intervals, shifting back and forth between like a 7.0 speed and a 9.0 every 30 seconds over and over. My old treadmill would give a bit of a “jerk” when I selected a new speed. This machine is smooth as can be and moves to the new speed quickly and without any sort of a jerking motion. The screen on this treadmill is amazing. The picture quality is very clear and I am excited to really dive in and explore the classes that are offered. I did try out one class, running along the ocean in Portugal. It looks like there is a lot of great content offered there. There is also a manual workout mode- you just select “start manual workout” and you are off. In manual mode the screen shows a track and your laps around it. At all times it shows all the data that you would want- mileage, pace, time, estimated calories, etc. This treadmill goes up to 12.0 speed and a 12% incline. It also declines to 3%, which is really cool. I haven’t had that feature before on a treadmill, but now I can simulate running downhill also. The built-in fan is also really nice and surprisingly effective. All in all, I am very pleased with my new treadmill! The quality is fantastic for the price! Machine went into an endless loop weeks after I bought it. Best BUy told me to call the manufacturer which is not possible. I have paid for totaltech and have a 2 year warrantee.

The screen froze and I had to factory reset it the first couple days i had it. After about a month the motor quit working and had to return it to best buy.

i purchased this about 2 months ago, about 2 weeks into using it several times a week there is a loud crushing sound from the running deck, i have tried repeatedly to get a response from Proform which no avail. Avoid this product!

Received a defective product from Best Buy. No response from Best Buy ( waited fir hours to speak to a tech multiple times) Had to reach out to Proform to get replacement parts and had to pay extra to get the defective product fixed. Don’t buy treadmills from Best Buy .

It’s great when I can actually get it to turn on and not switch off my electrical box. I bought two surge suppressors and this machine is still pulling too much power.

Very loud, heavy, not worth the money. I’ve only used it a few times & can’t wait to get rid of it.

Paid for professional installation and left with broken treadmill. Best Buy is refusing to come pick it up.

Lots of issues with this one, it came broken , it was actually leaking oil and the band was soaked in oil , also, the screen is not good quality, the interface is slow, the fan is basically useless , and you actually need to have a subscription to use other functions, definitely not recommended

Welded on nut off center. Bolt would not screw in!! Major problem!

DO NOT BUY THIS TREADMILL!!! Treadmill worked fine for a few months, then one day just didn’t turn on. I’ve been trying to call and email customer support and they take weeks to respond and are making me jump through so many hoops, it’s not worth the time and hassle.

After about 10 months the screen stopped working. I tried resetting and power cycling with no success. I can hear from speaker but that’s it. Warranty is 1 year. Trying to contact customer service.

Would recommend this treadmill to anyone that has the space for it! It is a larger treadmill, but does fold up and have a nice slow release lever so it doesn’t come crashing down. It is very sturdy and runs quietly, even when changing the speed and incline often. The assembly instructions were clear and it was easy to assemble on my own. It is also easy to operate with a crystal clear touch screen, as well as manual buttons. It has nice large cup holders and a built in fan as extra nice features. It is great for running or walking! It also comes with a 1 year iFit subscription which has helped us enjoy better workouts using their preprogrammed workouts. I was given this product for a reduced price in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.

On overall quality and performance this treadmill really delivers! Although I must say the delivery was a bit rough. I don't have a garage and we have gravel in front of our gate leading to our front yard. I was seriously worried the delivery driver would have to leave the box in the road. He used a pallet jack and we both pushed it through the gravel and had to leave the box in the front yard and carry everything in piece by piece. It may be beneficial to have 2-4 guys ready to help move the box if you want the whole thing inside before opening it up. Luckily setup was smooth and easy past that point. It took my wife and I less than 2 hours to put everything together and that is with a couple toddlers and a baby "helping," we also missed tightening some screws and had to take apart and repeat a handful of steps to get to them. It took around 45 minutes for the machine to do all it's downloads and updates. This may have been due to a slower internet connection. The deck feels absolutely luxurious after our last treadmill. Very comfortable width and length. I am 5'10 and feel secure going full speed on here. It is easy to get lost in the scenery in the Ifit videos and not feel like I have to stay conscious about where my feet are hitting the track. The shock absorbers keep my workouts smooth and quiet. I can run on this with my sleeping kids in the next room without worry. It folds away with minimal effort and stays securely til I am ready for it again. At which point it glides down like a feather. The console is well designed and easy to use. The screen feels huge and is generally very responsive and accurate even while at a full run. Every now and then it won't respond to a button press or the menu screen will turn off too quickly, but I attribute that more to the app or bad internet connection. The speakers are loud and clear and the Bluetooth works both ways. I enjoy connecting my tablet and listening to a show through the treadmill's speaker while walking, or connecting my headphones for a more intense Ifit workout. I would be remiss if I didn't comment on the ifit workouts. You can get them on an app anywhere, but on this machine you can feel totally immersed in whatever environment your trainer is in. The size of the screen, the ease of the Ifit app, and the smooth transition of speed and incline working in harmony make a daily workout so enjoyable. I almost don't even notice the incline changing as it matches the screen so well and feels natural. I honestly get bummed out when I finish each day which is something I haven't experienced with other Ifit connected machines. It always felt clunky and not worth my time to figure out. I've always enjoyed just hopping on my treadmill and picking my own pace, but I am so glad to have taken the leap to try this machine because I am now hooked. It is worth every bit of the investment. Pros: -Easy setup -Space saving when put away, but spacious while in use -Sturdy/well built -Wide range of speed, and incline/decline -Ifit is incredible! Cons: -Heavy (only a con on the day of setup) -Can take a couple minutes to turn on in the morning (this may just be a problem with my internet) I was given this product for a reduced price in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.

I am on the second time in 5 months that the computer screen went defective.

This treadmill has been great so far. The setup took us almost 3 hours which is a little long. The instructions were pretty clear for the most part, however we had to reread them a few times to make sure we understood what we needed to do. We've only had it a few weeks but have enjoyed it thus far. It came with an ifit subscription that is free for one year. So far, we have enjoyed that. We like how the treadmill has a large screen to see miles gone, incline, and speed. It plays music through its own speakers which comes through very well. It also has Bluetooth audio which we are excited to use. It also has a fan on it that helps cool you down while you are exercising. It's not powerful but blows enough air to make a difference. It also is long enough for someone who is tall to walk and run on. The only thing I would change is the belt lags at lower speeds for me (I am tall and a little heavier), but my wife has no problems with it. As soon as you start to run it does just fine and has no problems moving. I was given this product for a reduced price in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.

Being a full-time employee and student has put a damper on my gym goals. This treadmill is EXACTLY what I have been looking for. The setup took two people but it was to the point and didn’t take long to set up. I am able to fold up the treadmill when I am done with it, which makes it perfect for small living spaces! One thing I wanted in a treadmill was for it to be quiet and sturdy, this PRO-FORM PRO 5000 is just that. It is study, transitions easily, and it is smooth. The screen on this treadmill is wonderful. The screen is clear, the sound is good and it’s easy to use! My favorite part about the treadmill is using the iFit membership. This makes running SO much better than just looking at a blank wall. Being able to select where I wanted to explore and run with a trainer is a game-changer for me. I would definitely recommend this treadmill to others. This is a high end treadmill. Putting it together was fairly easy, you only need a phillips screwdriver and a 9/16 end wrench. I found a way to assemble it with one person but two would be ideal especially for assembling the safety bar underneath. The belt runs smooth and has great pad so its low impact on your knees. The treadmill does both incline and decline so you can get a full range of work outs and actually simulate those hills. The screen is awesome. I've used other ifit products that just connect to your phone through bluetooth and they are prone to losing connection due to interference from wifi and other bluetooth devices. This treadmill connects to your wifi so those worries go away. You can also cast your phone or favorite show to the screen which is really nice. As a dad of a toddler one of the best features is the safety bar that holds the treadmill in the up position. Our last treadmill had a pin that if pulled would allow the tread to freefall to the ground and smash whatever is below. This treadmill you have to be able to lift the the tread farther and push your foot to release the safety bar. Once released there is a air shock that makes the tread slowly float down. It's a great safety feature and is good that the expensive tread won't freefall to the ground. Overall great fitness gym quality treadmill. I have loved this treadmill for the couple weeks that I have had it. I love the larger screen, the sound system is actually pretty nice in this treadmill which is a big plus, I don't love running with headphones in, so the sound system makes it nice. This treadmill is a lot quieter than other treadmills that I have owned before as well which I would say is a big plus. Setup took probably ~ 1.5 hrs. So not too bad. You will definitely need two people to help setup. I also really like the ifit membership that it comes with. The few programs I've tried so far have been a nice little distraction to keep me from thinking about running. The shock absorbing technology also seems to do a pretty decent job of lessening the impact on my knees. Really the only con I have with this machine, and maybe I'm just blind and can't find it, is there isn't a good way to just like turn off the screen. It will "sleep" but the screen still stays on from what I've seen. You can turn the whole treadmill off, but then it takes a little bit to boot up again. Other than that though.
