Geek Squad replaced 4yr old Sony 285 projector with a new Sony VPL XW6000ES projector. The setup was excellent, the alignment and focus are perfect for my 115" screen. This unit works beautifully with my Panasonic 9000 DVD player, Dish network receiver and a Firestick. Everything was matched up and now easy to use. I could not have done this setup without Geek Squad.

Carlos and Ben were outstanding! They spent time to get my media room installed and ready for use. They answered all questions and continued to be a resource for any future questions. This is why I have always appreciated Geek Squad and value my Total Tech Membership!

On 12/27/17 John came to my home on time to install a replacement projector system. This install included a new projector, new blu-ray player and new receiver. A large old ceiling projector was removed and replacement HDM wiring run through a mechanics run to the new components housed in a cabinet. John explained what he was going to do, hooked up and tested all the new components plus my old VCR player and then explained to my wife and me how to operate the new system. We were very satisfied with the entire installation and coordination by Best Buy.

Jeremiah and Greg of the Geek Squad were great. Very friendly, knowledgeable, called ahead to give me their ETA. After installing my projector and receiver they made sure I knew how to use the equipment, answered all my questions and gave me their card to call if I have any other questions.

Installation of new projector, receiver and wiring was accomplished efficiently and everything worked perfectly. The tech (Jordan) explained how everything worked, cleaned up and all is well.

after watching the techs put the 120" Epson screen together, I'm glad the Geek Squad did the job. They got the system running and made sure I understood how to adjust the short throw projector for the best picture. Great system.

I just want to say that Heath did an excellent job installing my projector. He was even able to come in early upon my request. He was very professional and clean and I appreciate everything he did. He is an excellent employee!

Since I have no technical skills, I always get the Geek Squad to provide the service I need. In this case, they removed my projector from the ceiling mount and then reinstalled the new projector and made sure everything functioned perfectly.

Looks great! Agents got me involved asked questions to make certain that the set up was to my liking. When they were done they were patient enough to allow me to pop on some content to make certain everything was perfect. There was an defect with the projector displaying a hue of green but the team quickly got me back on the schedule for a replacement. During the time I had to wait I realized that I did not want to go the wireless route to display my content. Hannah K my project manager was able to get another agent there to assess the situation and swap out the projector and run 100ft of HDMI cable. Now everything looks extremely clean, my content is projecting in 4k with 0 loss in quality. Great team, great experience. O yeah if you're quarantining Geek Squad Agents are taking the COVID precautions. They are mindful and respectful within your home. They wear mask and gloves while in your home. I felt very comfortable.

It took many months to be able to go from the consultant to the actual installation of the projector. The consultant and the technician do not speak directly, but rather read written notes. There were frequent miscommunications and we had to order and return products multiple times. We gave up ok having our sounds system upgraded given that the geek squad could not figure it out. On the bright side, the projector is working well. Everyone was very polite and there was not any extra cost. The price was good, but scheduling was difficult and it was very slow.

Great care was taken attaching the projector to the ceiling mount. The projector was set up and adjusted to fit the existing screen size

First of all, ton of thanks to Nic and his team for completing the installation work and figuring out the solutions on the go for every problem they faced in spite of various challenges they faced from the moment they took a look at the project! Honestly speaking, I started feeling very nervous initially as Nic and team started discovering lot many unknowns as they started their work. But, Nic and his team started to resolve/pass through every single challenge as the time passed by and I started feeling tremendous amount of confidence and assurance that this project will be a great success at the end! Nic was quite instrumental in figuring out the solutions for the wiring issues (which was the biggest challenge out of all) and his team was also super experienced to support Nic and provided their suggestions wherever needed . This was an amazing display of a great team work and on top of everything, ‘superior quality work’! Nic’s technical expertise was exceptional and he made sure that I am getting everything as per my expectation or thoughts. Nic is truly an amazing tech person Geek Squad has and this is a topmost experience in terms of an excellent technical service and customer satisfaction I can say!

They did excellently, and I was pleased. They didn't finish on the first set-up day, but scheduled to come back and didn't stop until everything was up correctly, even answered my questions after they left. It's been working great ever since!
