Apple products tend to be top notch, but it doesn't hurt to have that additional sense of security in case of problems. We purchased this Apple Care when we bought an Apple TV. So far we haven't had to use it, but it's nice knowing it's there if needed. It's a personal decision, though. It's a great buy if you end up using it, but could be considered wasted money if you don't.

AppleCare Protection is Good to have in case anything that might happen to your Apple TV Receiver,Its like car insurance no one likes paying them but we have to have it for Protection.

It appears I am reviewing the BBuy Protection plan for the Apple TV, not the box itself. I like having extended warranties on all equipment I buy from them, gives me a sense of security and SOMETIMES have used it. Thanks.

Getting AppleCare+ with any Apple-branded product is the way to go. You don't want to mess with a trillion-dollar company. The protection makes sense and is nominal compared to having to either replace the product or get it serviced. Just get it.

I have purchased AppleCare for several products over the years. Have only had to use it once or twice. Gives a peace of mind for apple products.

I always purchase Geek Squad or AppleCare+ for each item that I purchase at Best Buy because you never know when we'll need it. I'm so happy that Best Buy provides a service like this among others. They really look out for the customer.

When every you buy an Apple product you know you have to buy APPLE CARE, they go hand in hand. Yes Apple products do not break as easily but when they do you know they are going to cost an arm and a leg just to fix.

I always buy Apple Care protection plans for all Apple products I buy. This was especially essential since it was a gift for my mother. If anything happens to her Apple TV, she knows she's covered for a couple of years. It's the peace of mind that matters.

Apple Care is great! But this if you have kids or want to make sure your product last longer. You will regret not buying it when your device malfunctions.

From somebody who has bought many Apple products, I have had very few issues with any of my products but I like the piece of mind knowing that it is protected. When I have had problems Apple care makes it easy to get a product repaired and fixed or gets you a new one.

I'm not really sure if my Apple TV will break or have any issues, but it was inexpensive, and I don't want it to lock up on me and me not have the Apple Care. I hope that I never need it, but Apple's customer care steps up incredibly when you have their Apple Care.

I have everything Apple & always buy Apple Care. I've only had to use it twice over the years (computer, iPhone) and each time the issues were resolved quickly & effectively with no out-of-pocket costs. Also the peace of mind factor is really important.

I used to work at an electronics store and I cannot tell you how many times I saw customers come in with broken apple products, whether it was from their own neglect or some unforseen force, and it was painful to have to tell them how expensive it would be to repair or that there was nothing I could do for them if it had water damage. If they had only purchased applecare then it would either cost them nothing if it was not from their own neglect or just a little bit even if it was. People always think it is too expensive, but stop and think how expensive the product you are purchasing is and how much it would cost to repair. I'm telling you, it is DEFINITELY worth the extra money. I've seen too many people that I couldn't help because they didn't have Applecare so for your own sake please get applecare.

I always buy the apple care on every apple product that I have purchased, phones, ipods, computers so it was a no brainer to purchase this for my new Apple TV. I hope I never have to use it but the peace of mind it provides is worth the cost.

AppleCare + is the one extended warranty I always buy because it pays for itself with all the additional support from Apple and the generous repair and replacement policy.

Peace of mind knowing if something goes wrong you're protected. Don't get caught without buying Protection, you'll be SORRY you didn't' get protection. It's never too late
