Noises

Did not work with my turntable model

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased to improve/increase the sound volume of the signal from a Marathon TT-101USB turntable through an old Onkyo TX 840 tuner amp. The volume of my vinyl records was weak and I thought this might be a solution, having time due to the pandemic I tried to "fix" the issue. This pre-amp did increase the volume but with lots of distortion even after attaching a ground wire to the tuner and changing electric outlets. Contact with Pyle informed me that if the turntable has a built-in pre-amp it will not work. Contact with Marathon confirmed that their turntable did have a pre-amp so this product would not solve my issue. I returned it to BestBuy and I'm looking for another solution to what I believe to be an issue with the impedance levels.

Perfect for Price

I have an old JVC turntable and wanted to play it on a modern system (i.e. sounbar or even LED TV speakers). Needed a pre-amp for this. Bought this. Worked and am overly elated to own it. No issues thus far!
