Q: Does this preamp plug into the AUX or the unused TAPE or CD inputs on the receiver?
A: On my old Sony receiver, the turntable plays off the cd mode.

A: the both unit had the same specs but the difference of the PP555 it has a quarter inch output and the 9v battery support.

A: If the Vizio sound bar has RCA inputs

A: Yes, it is a pre amplifier to boost record player output. I use it with an OutCast from Soundcast and it is perfect.

A "Must Have" For Vintage Turn Table!
I was recently given a vintage Techniques Turn Table that someone had put on an undersized belt and a damaged needle! I put the right needle and belt on it and Voila, like new. Plugged it in to my newer Pioneer 7.1 AV amp, and no joy! This little pre amp took care of that and the Turn Table sounds amazing with my old vinyl collection!

Pyle tuner
Good in terms of generating sound from turntable thru receiver. Does not have lots of power however.

GET GROUNDED OUT
Great little machine if your receiver does not have a phono input or grounding hookup. My last receiver did NOT so I had to purchase this product. It works great altho it is now collecting dust in my electronic bag of wires bcuz I was forced to buy another receiver, which was a way better receiver & as all GREAT receivers should have it had a phono input and ground wire on it. Maybe Ill sell it on Ebay?
