This is a Siggraph award winner and deserves it. Geometry seems 720p, but apparently uses fancy temporal-ish tactics to get to 1080p. None of that overshadows the bad gunplay and rubber band-ish platforming. It's hard to tell where your enemies are and they just seem to spawn out of no-where too many times. The platforming puzzles are enjoyable but the movement is basic jumping but they can't even get that working with much accuracy. Both I'm sure these are patchable, but when you throw the high school production of the TV live action episodes, it really all brings it's rating down. I enjoyed Alan Wake and this except for the graphics is a let down. I'm still looking forward to their next game. Hopefully the TV episodes don't take time away from the game.

The graphics are nice. Cool special effects. Awesome storyline

Can't say I was that thrilled with the game. Looks amazing and has good sound design, but nothing new and combat seems limited. The story is weak and the long "tv" sections are not that interesting. Not the best from Remedy imo.

If you loved Remedy's Max Payne or better yet...Alan Wake...then you'll dig this game!
