A fun shooter by the studio behind Max Payne. Very narrative and character focused. The 20-30 minute live action TV-style episodes that play between game chapters are interesting and offer a different perspective on the events of the game.

I've been looking for a strong, narrative led game. I was not disappointed. I've been following this game since E3 a few years ago, and to finally be able to sit down, play, and get into the world has been amazing. Graphics are great, gameplay fun and familiar, but its the inclusion of the 'TV Episodes' that makes this unique.

I do recommend it, but with some reservations. It is only worth a sale price. It has ok gameplay, but definitely has some issues. It still has quite a few bugs and in the 15-hour playthrough, it crashed numerous times. The cover system and gunplay was ok at best. You push through it for story. The story itself was enjoyable and live action stuff was passable. I would've just preferred more interspersed in-game cinematics though. The story does an actual good job with time travel but I won't spoil the details. It adhered to how we think differences would work between changing the past and the future.

The game looks stunning however it was the gameplay that really sold me on the game.

I (like most people) was very excited for this game, it had been in development for years. I've played through the game twice now and it really was worth the wait. Great story, Great Visuals, and the TV show episodes were way better done than I expected.

Quantum Break is fantastic. It's made by remedy and if your a gamer, you know their pedigree. The production values are top notch. Great gameplay and great story. You can't go wrong picking this up. I think every Xbox One owner should play this game.

Fun game if you like story driven games, the cut scenes were interesting as they were actual tv episodes. Powers are cool as well as the actors in the game.

Quantum Break was an amazing experience. The graphics, gameplay, STORY and presentation were stellar. If you're a fan of mind bending storylines like the matrix, or inception, and smooth gameplay, you will love it. This is why we play videogames.

I'm an action adventure gamer. Uncharted, Tomb Raider, Alan Wake: these are my go to. I expected another good A-A title that would be fun for the duck and shoot action, platforming and cinematic breaks that these titles are known for. And it's all there! But this one is different. The time-altering game play mechanics remind me of Prince of Persia-Sands of Time only more intense and meticulous. The CG and game play characters are so spot on it's difficult to tell where one starts and the other stops. The switch between game and live action TV is a nice touch and the acting is big-screen worthy. The gameplay is linear enough to satisfy gamers who simply want to get from beginning to end and there are enough secrets and side-items to find to keep the more in depth gamers happy as well. I highly recommend to anyone.

Definitely buy on sale, as it's not very long. If you liked Max Payne or Alan Wake, however, you will definitely enjoy this. Good single player experience.

Quantum Break is a great Xbox One exclusive. The game play is solid, graphics great, and story compelling. The live action tv show which is included is solid as well. I would compare it to a Sy-Fy channel tv show.

This game is incredible. The graphics look amazing and at times I had to remind myself that I was playing a video game. The live action TV show is also great and almost as good as the game. This is one of those games that you can go back and play multiple times and get a different live action cutscenes and in game experiences. I love how what you do in the game ACTUALLY happens in the TV show. For example, after killing some enemies I hit some intel that was a recorder that played someone reading a book. When I did that, the game picked up on and said find out where it's from. An act or two later I'm watching the TV show and that EXACT audio recording in the game was on the TV show! Absolutely incredible. Highly recommend this game.

With a trend right now to make multiplayer only games, I am thrilled to have some games that are single player only and therefore focused on making it great. The graphics in this game are some of the best I have seen on any current gen console and better than The Division. The game was not 80 hours of fetch quests nor was it a "I beat this open world game and have no idea what it was about" type. Good story, good acting, good voice work, great environments and really fun gameplay. I would like to see more games with this kind of effort. I am also a full time worker, so I really appreciate being able to finish my games without taking 3 months to do so.

This game is a very interesting game and puts a whole new spin on games with its live episode format. The gameplay is solid and the tv show is solid as well.

It's been a while since I've had such a good time in a linear 8 hour or so game. Story is fantastic and it's just so fun to play. I highly recommend it.

Definitely worth keeping an eye out for, this game seems like a edge of your seat type movie. The combat mechanics are very intriguing and most of the fun is in how you choose deal with firefights.

Enjoy the game tremendously with the engaging and twisting story arc. My biggest gripe were the controls which are a bit off for a 3rd person action game. The full motion cut scenes are great with top actors from the wire and game of thrones just to name a few. Like I said the game is about 10-15 hrs to complete.

The game is a solid third person shooter with further mechanics related to time manipulation and some limited platforming. The game has a very heavy narrative focus around time travel which is complemented by a live action TV show featuring well known actors and showing the background events and characters to the game story. If you liked prior Remedy games or just like narrative driven games, would recommend.

The whole TV series mixed in with a game is a unique experience. The graphics and combat are excellent. The TV show is mediocre, overall. The game does slow down a bit with some stretched out exploration areas between fights. I'd recommend trying it, but try to get it on sale.
