Very easy to set up!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I replaced an existing controller with the Rachio Gen 3 and it was very simple. Getting the old controller off took more time as I had to label the wires since they were all the same color. Once old system was down, i was up and running on the new system in minutes and I am not extremely handy. Just need to be able to use a screw driver. The app is very intuitive and properly skipped the first watering since it was raining. Features i love: cycling the watering time for slopes to avoid run off and rain, wind and freeze skips.

Not only does it make my water schedule easy to maintain, but it allows me to spot water with ease from my phone. This system is simply amazing!! It will revolutionize your sprinkler system and save on all of the hassles. This is amazing for a single mom or any busy person on the go always. I am so glad I bought it.

It lasted exactly 7 days past the warranty

It has stopped working, i called support and as the warranty is 2 years they told me there was nothing they could do. Had it stopped working 2 weeks ago they would have replaced it. It worked well while it lasted but that works out to about $115 per year of service which is a bit expensive and it sure did not save $229 worth of water in the 2 seasons it worked for.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
