I recently purchased the Rachio Gen 3. It's placed outside, so also bought the outdoor enclosure. Both were easy to physically install ( I was replacing another sprinkler controller.) I did have to call the support line several times due to issues with WiFi connecting to the device. They were helpful on the phone and follow-up call. Once the Rachio connected with my wifi, it was a snap to set up, label, customize and test all the watering zones. It's raining today and I was informed that the schedule I'd set would be on hold due to the rain. Perfect! Also nice to control and manage everything from the well-thought out phone app. Highly recommended.

We really love our new sprinkler system controller. You can control everything through the app and it even uses your local weather to control how often it waters based on location and grass type. So far it’s been a great investment.

I've been upgrading a lot of the devices in my home to take advantage of the smart capabilities and automation features provided. After doing research, I decided on this sprinkler system from Rachio and couldn't be more pleased. It was quick and easy to setup and the unit works flawlessly and is so easy to use. I wish all products were this good.

I got the Rachio 3 with the outdoor cover and installed in minutes. Set up through the app was a breeze and the smart watering schedule is definitely amazing! I would say it predicts rain better than the weather forecast from our local news! It’s been adjusting the watering days and I can see the results on my lawn! Definitely a must have!

Just installed yesterday and I love it. I have not yet figured out everything that you can do. Pricey but it lives up to it. Remember if installed outside needs an additional outer box to be waterproof. Inside installation this is enough.

Simple set up! Took off my old one and connected the Rachio with ease... downloaded the app, connected to my WiFi, and wala... water my grass anywhere I’m at.. even set up schedualing for watering multiple times throughout the day... my grass went from dry and brown to green and healthy in a matter of a couple of weeks.

Won't have another manual sprinkper controller again... this is excellent. Checks weather daily in your area, determines proper watering times for each zone, each timenit turns on, and you can run zones from anywhere, anytime if you want to run extra. And extremely easy to install !!!

Very good product. Easy to use. Initially, it's seen some issue with IOS device, so need to go through my computer. After it, everything is just so great. Our city also offer debate for installation for this device. Really nice.

I did research a few smart system and this one is one of the best at my end. I have been using this one for 8 months and I recommended for your house to save tons of water and auto weather adjusted is perfect system. I’m not a pro to install for wiring but this one isn’t hard at all.

Our old sprinkler control was disfunctional. But this, I mean this is awesome. adjusts to weather, gives you advice on watering times and syncs up with the weather reports to adjust your sprinkler watering time. definitely saves money on water which eventually will pay for itself.

This controller is amazing. Setup is incredibly easy and the app is really user-friendly. I have been impressed with the Intelligent skip feature and being able to manually start a zone or schedule from my phone is extremely convenient. Highly recommend over an old school controller!

I just got an email an hour ago from my Rachio unit... It said the ground is saturated enough from the rain we had. Seriously?! This is an incredible unit that makes sprinkling an easy task to manage! I also can control the zones with my Alexa unit, which is just awesome! I highly recommend this thing, excellent product!

I recently bought the Rachio 8-Zone Smart Sprinkler Controller, but unfortunately, I ran into problems right away. It wouldn't connect to my home Wi-Fi, and I couldn't figure out if the issue was with the installation or the product itself. I called Geek Squad for assistance, hoping for a quick solution. However, even the technician struggled to get it working correctly. They tried their best, but it seemed like they weren't fully familiar with this specific device or the issue at hand. I'm left unsure if the problem lies with the Rachio system or the installation process. This experience has been quite disappointing, as I'm still unable to use the smart features of the sprinkler system.

Great item worth purchasing and the app makes it fun and ease of use amazing. The initial setup of unit is required along with specifying what type of sprinkler heads and uploading pictures of your yard is slightly time consuming but not overwhelming.

I saw one of these at Costco, caught my attention, did some research and ended up buying it from Best Buy.. I followed their instructions, was up in no time and it works great , all iPhone or Web controlled. And it knows when to run and when not to. Very cool. Big upgrade from my Y2k vintage Hunter... I highly recommend it.

Great product. I have replaced my manual operated Orbit controller with this one. Price will pay off itself with the amount of water you save during rainy days. Also, it works seamlessly works with my Apple Home.

WOW. Easy setup, very impressed. Updated from a Hunter manual unit. Setting up zones was very quick, no issues, easy to label the Zones. Also setting up with Homekit was a breeze. Now I can turn on a zone that has new seed. This is amazing.

Had a 70’s control box this replaced and was a great fit to upgrade the irrigation system. I’d recommend it and love being able to control the system while we are away.

Works well as a replacement for a regular controller.

This is a must for any home. We’ve saved a ton of water and I would be betting that we’ve saved enough money in one year on water that this product has has already paid itself back.
