Radenso ds1 is extremely user-friendly and excellent radar detector. This pick up radar signal from the cop cars that are currently installed either fix or handheld. Some cop cars don't have radar installed in their car so ds1 can't pickup up the cop car. Same goes with other detectors on the market. You can buy mirror tap and tap into your powered rear view mirror or if you don't you can also tap into your overhead lights. Your ds1 will have clean installed. To clip your ds1 into the visor you have buy gopro hat clip . Please see my picture. To activate Bluetooth you must by usb c data transfer cable and connect to your ds1 and your computer and download the new firmware 1.07 from Radenso.com after updating your software 1.07 you will gain access to Bluetooth and Bluetooth pairing under the settings of ds1 under user preferences. Software 1.07 has to be downloaded to use Bluetooth features. Ds1 is loaded with firmware 1.05 only you can't access Bluetooth with this firmware please update to 1.07 . Radenso has superior quality customer service support. I also forgot to mention that you can buy Radenso Hardwire kit and tap into fuse box along with fuse tap connector with kit and tap into fuse section for exterior lighting that way when you leave your car and lock your car door the lights will go out and then ds1 will power off. This makes a total of 3 Radenso radar detectors I have owned and each one has worked well without any problems. The DS1 is definitely another step up from both the XP and Pro M. It is even quieter (false alert wise) than the first two which were quite good. I love the auto lockout of false stationary signal which seems to work well. The GPS acquires signal much faster than the Pro M. The display is larger and easier to see and read. Also having different colors (and sounds of course) for the types or radar signal allows you to instantly determine which band and threat level. I've owned 7-8 detectors over the years and this is the best of them all overall. The only negative comment is on the lack of a visor mount which I prefer. That was easily fixed by drilling a 1/4 hole in a Pro M visor mount and using a 1/4 inch allen head screw to attach it through the hole. Last but no least of course is that is very sensitive and provides plenty of advanced warning, especially helpful with the recent increase of photo radar for school zones in my area. I highly recommend this detector if you can manage to find one. They are in short supply.

The device exceeds my expectation in terms of range & BSM filtering. The price point was just right compared to the more expensive equivalents. I have yet to see a firmware update to improve the device itself, Radenso's website gets your email & device serial # to notify the user for any updates available. The other piece missing are directional indicators where the signal is coming, however, with an early detection capability, I think this is a good compromise. You can also customize the colors of the display + the sound for each band, just additional options to make it personal.

This is amazing and more times then not has been correct. Very sensitive and gives 360 coverage. Has settings that are very useful like changing the tones for each type of radar that is detected. Also has auto-lockout for when its a known fixed radar that isn’t a ticket giving kind. There is an app for android for even more settings but I sadly have apple. They did recently cone out with an apple app but you have to update the firmware requiring you to connect it to your computer to update and the app you have to pay for before yoy can even see what it is that it offers. And i dont think its an official app since the name of the developer isnt the company. There are, at times, stray radars that it catches that are not ones in the direction you are going and i almost feel that it picks up radar too soon causing you to question if it’s a valid detection. The buttons for the menu can be a pain since there are only 4 of them minus the mute button in the front. I like the additional usb port on the v12 plug so you dont lose the ability to charge a device, only thing I would suggest is also a usb- c port. The mount is very strong and has only come down once which was right after i cleaned my interior windshield, so I assume the cleaner got under the suction and thats why it came off. You have other mounting options but didnt need them so dont know what specifically those are. Very effective and I also like that this conpany offers ticket compensation during the use of the device if you still manage to get a speesing ticket they will pay for it if it doesnt pick up the signal, as it’s intended. Overall, especially for roadtrips, this is a must have.

Amazing!!! Drove through 9 different states on vacation and this radar WORKS. It easly picked up signals from at leadt 1.5 to 2 miles ahead. I was slowing down and the police were way ahead. Pays for itself!! Con is trying to download updates to the firmware. After figuring it out it worked great and did an amazing job detecting and blocking out non police signals after passing by 3 times it locks out the K band from businesses. Overall the price was tough to pay but knowing this thing kept me from getting numerous tickets. I used this on a 2 week trip through nine states. It also picks up traffic stop cameras. It has several other pluses but you can research that on youtube. Definitely an upgrade from my last radar.

Upgrading from a Whistler product, I knew I was going to be getting a huge upgrade. This detector has an extreme range and detects extremely well around corners. The magnetic holder is very sturdy and well designed. The screen auto dimming works well for me and is easy to read even with polarized sunglasses. I like that it uses USB-C. The Radenso phone app has not been released yet, so I don't have a review of that or the Bluetooth functionality.

Great value and excellent quality! This radar detector has saved me from several tickets already. This radar detector is so easy to use, and it also has more features than most higher-priced radar detectors. Radenso doesn't make an Apple app for their devices, so if you want to update it, you will need a computer or Android device. Radenso is great about updating their devices regularly. I'm happy with this product. This radar detector has almost no false alarms, and it's better with every update.

Works great! All the features work exactly as expected. Manufacturer provides frequent updates to keep it up to date. Updates seem to be provided at least once a month. Very customizable interface. Very good detection rates. Auto Lockout functionality is awesome. The mount is fantastic, making for easy install, removal and switching between vehicles!

If you want a radar detector that blocks out the garbage, this is it. It only beeps when there is actual radar. No microwaves, or vehicle lane assists sending off the beeps. You can set a speed that warns you if you go over it. But the main purpose, warning for radar, is the best I have ever seen.

Man. The Tie with Highway Radar app, API with WzSABRE (Waze notifications), calibration via Highway Radar, and (albeit slow, 15min flash) wireless and OTR system upgrade vs absolutely any competitor.... ALL BEFORE YOU EVEN HIT THE ROADS AND HAVE THE LONGEST RANGE OF ANY DETECTOR? Man. Theia may be vaporware but this is not, you can EASILY filter for Honda/Acura, and otherwise have a very low-noise detector other than LEO. Frankly I'm blown away. Warning to those less inclined with technology, it's not super easy to do all I stated but if you are I can say I had it upgraded to the latest software, connected to Highway Radar, had Highway Radar displaying via Android Auto wireless, switched to dark mode, and a variety of other user functions and was on the road testing in 30min or less, crushing or slightly beating the absolute best competitor being the R7 but I'll take range over arrows along with open api and bluetooth for 3rd party like Highway Radar. Ftfw. Amazing.

This thing is amazing. I have pinged traps from beyond belief, and I've been using many of the current RD's. Hard to quantify, but lets say it picks up fun stuff from much further away than before. Waze helps, but this has found the fun before it shows in an online app :)

This thing is awesome. The range is so far out I thought I was getting false alerts. It has saved me from three tickets in four months. Well worth the price

I’ve used cobra, and escort in the past, but the Radenso unit is by far my favorite. It has excellent range and the magnetic mount makes mounting a breeze.

BEST radar detector i have ever owned. self managig and very reliable without constant false alarms. way more user friendly to get tuned right compared to other high end products.

I can’t say enough good things about this detector.Incredible range and super quiet.It has already saved me a few times from police running radar.Dollar for dollar I think this is the best radar detector out there and I’ve owned a few.I would have paid more for this gem but fortunately didn’t need to.If you can find one get it!You won’t be disappointed.
