Got it for my high school son. He lost interest pretty quick even though it was a game he wanted. It was a reasonable price so I didn't mind him passing it on to a friend.

Set in the future plenty of missions from helping people to eliminating bandits.

This game looks great even on my aging 42" LCD. I did have the occasional pop-in textures but that's a small price to pay when taking in the amazing wasteland crafted by id. The controls are tight and fluid. This game is simply fun to play, although I wish some of the gameplay options were fleshed out more. The real downfall of the game is the story. The initial setting is interesting enough, but there never seems to be much purpose to your actions. On top of that, the game ends rather quickly and the ending falls flat. The entire final level is extremely anticlimactic. As long as you go into Rage accepting that the story is flawed, and the real fun lies in the shootouts and driving sequences you will enjoy your time spent playing.

This is not your normal first person shooter. There is much more to this game and there is a big world to explore throughout the campaign. The graphics are absolutely beautiful and if you install the game to your Xbox 360 hard drive it improves the graphics even more and improves load times. The only problem with that is that this game has 3 discs so if you install all 3 it's going to take a big chunk of your memory space on your hard drive but if you have a 250gb like me it's no big deal. This fantastic game, and everything is designed great. From the guns, to the world in the game, all the way down to a little plant. you might pass by. Everything has a lot of detail. I would definitely recommend this game!

Lived up to my expectations. Nothing spectacular but was entertaining.

I was highly disappointed in this game. It did not live up to the hype. The story was bland, it wasn't difficult at all, even on hardest setting, the ending was HORRIBLE. The vehicle parts, especially the racing, felt nothing more than an arcade offroad game and added no value to the game. There were audio problems. It seemed like the game was only 4.1 surround sound, not 5.1. The center channel didn't appear to be used at all, and dialog with characters came out of all speakers and was not directional. PC and console users alike reported this issue. It looked pretty good graphically although a bit cartoony for me. Note: I did not play any multiplayer.

This was very bad it advertised Xbox one compatible, but it was not.

The game is great, the shooting mechanics are among the best that I ever played, the graphics are also among the best (if not the best) that I ever seen, game also offer driving battles and some RPG, but beware, this game is NOT like Fallout neither Borderlands, this is an action FPS with a little RPG, Driving and a little open world but not as open as Fallout, the only thing not so good about the game is the story, you basically receive a mission from one of the bosses on the 2 main towns in the game, you go and get it done, wash, rinse and repeat, if you like FPS for shooting gameplay and great graphics get the game, the driving looks a little out of place and the RPG elements as well but they are also fun. Overall a very good game.

This game may not be as deep as some people expected but I loved it. Many people may pass this one up for some of the more popular tittles that are coming out this season, but you will be missing out on one of the most gorgeous games to date. The controls for a first person shooter is amazing. I have not seen many games lately that have so much detail in them. Do not pass this one up if was a pleasure to play and has tons to offer.
