The new, rebooted Ratchet & Clank may be a budget title but feels as full featured as any of the previous titles. If you've played any other Ratchet games you know what to expect. The graphics are fantastic and the selection of guns is one of the most fun. The Ratchet & Clank movie is a companion to this game so if you want to get the finer details of the story you'll have to see the movie. As it is presented in the game the story is fine but feels a bit thin, probably because they wanted to save stuff for the movie. Conversely, there are parts of the movie where action sequences and fast forwards skip over parts of the story that you get to play in the game. I feel like the game could have been $50 and included a movie ticket to feel a bit more complete. All in all a fun game for fans of Ratchet or those looking for a pretty, 3D platformer while shooting aliens with crazy future guns.

As a game, the gameplay is similar to the original Ratchet and Clank games. It is a 3D action platform game that at times reminds me of the Lego games. However, I would describe level of difficulty is a bit higher, and requires ability to use dual stick controls to aim and change weapons and special attacks. All in all not too difficult, and a lot of fun and humor. Now, what makes this game such a stand out is its PS4 Pro capability allowing for 4K and HDR on a newer 4K TV if it supports. It is stunning and you feel like you are playing Pixar movie. It is amazing.

If you never played this on the PS2, definitely get this version! This game is still fun years after its initial release and I can't put the controller down!

This is back to the game style that I am used to with a Ratchet & Clank game. I enjoyed the story line and the cut scenes, as well as the usual fun had with the weapons. My only real criticism is that the game seemed to be a little on the short side in play time.

This game was great from its Pixar graphics to its crazy weapons to its well written characters. I really enjoyed my play though of this game. Highly recommended

I was looking for a game with a good story and a fun single player campaign. This game met those things. One of the best game purchases I have made.

This game is a classic all around. The action is none stop. The graphics are top notch. Beat of all the story will keep you hook until the end of the game.

I've never got into a ton of PlayStation exclusive games growing up, when the PS2 was out at the time, but I'll admit that this reboot of an early 2000s game is nothing but great. It paves the way for older games to come back in their purest form of gaming, especially making new sequels for that set series. I truly enjoyed every bit of my time with the game, and hopefully the sequel is as great, if not better than the 2016 reboot.

This was a great game. Played through it multiple times and it was non-stop fun. Lots of good choices for weapons and each of the levels is pretty unique.

All the original maps of the first game but completely redone. Amazing gameplay, weapons, and new features. 10/10

This is an excellent rehash of the original story for Ratchet and Clank! The game is fun and they did a good job updating it to make it feel new again!

Though the movie hasn't been well received, the game is far different. I've never played the original R&C so I don't have anything to compare it to. The graphics are Pixar level quality. The characters are fun and gameplay is fantastic. Love the weapons.

Great entry for the Playstation 4. Vibrant colors, excellent weapons and game play and great price. Really fun for adults and kids alike. A must play.
