Will return because audio quality on phone calls inaudible.

Breaks after 1 week and a half. I would understand if I dropped the glasses or sat on them but I’ve only put them on and taken them off.

I've always liked Wayfarers...I've had several pairs over the years. The style is simply timeless. When I'm wearing these "smart glasses" most folks never even notice that they're not "standard" Wayfarers. So what do they do? Let's start with the obvious...they take pics and short (3 mins max) videos. The pic and video/audio quality is pretty good. You can set up the app to automatically transfer the pics/videos to your phone, which is convenient. Whenever you're taking pics/videos a little light comes on on the front of the glasses to let people know they should smile. A nice protection of privacy feature. You can't cover up the light...if you do the camera won't work. So no James Bond secret videoing for you! They play music or live radio (like through iHeart or Pandora) or podcasts or whatever from your phone. The sound quality is surprisingly good. (There are tiny little speakers built into the temple pieces...you don't have to plug anything into your ears.) You can start the music from your phone or just by talking to your glasses. (That's a weird statement right there...) Unless you're playing it pretty loudly, people around you can't hear it. Oh...you can adjust the volume and start/stop by various taps or slides on the right temple piece. (You can also make those adjustments on your phone.) You can make and receive phone calls with your glasses. (Another weird statement.) They do have to be connected to your phone...they don't have their own phone number/service. You can make video calls where the person on the other end can see what you're seeing while you're talking to them. (I haven't tried this feature as it only works on WhatsApp, I think?...and I don't use that.). You can't see the person on the other end, obviously. Or maybe not so obviously...let's clarify that there's no projection capability with these glasses. You don't see any information or pics or whatever projected onto the lenses of these glasses. You can also live stream, which, again, is not something that I do so I can't speak to that. They can tell you about what you're looking at...like you can ask for information about a statue in a park. You can ask what kind of plant you're looking at...or anything else you're looking at. You get better responses with some things than with others. But I think the way AI works is that, over time, as more people ask about things AI "learns" and gets better at responding. The glasses will summarize documents...all you have to do is ask. It works amazingly well in my experience. They will do live translation...so as someone speaks to you in Spanish, for example, you hear an English translation in your ears. The translation is limited to a fairly small number of languages currently, but I'm sure they'll add more. And you have to decide in advance what you want to translate and "download" that to your glasses. So if you're set up for Spanish they're not going to translate French. Sorry...the translation is only one-way...you can't magically talk back to the person in their native tongue! They are a little heavier than standard Wayfarers...or seem to be...but there's not a lot of noticeable difference. The glasses charge in their case...kinda like iPods. You charge the case, the case charges the glasses. Keep your case with you and you can get a quick charge if you start running low. I'm sure I'm forgetting other features...or just haven't discovered other features. The glasses get updates every so often. I believe that the updates fix bugs or whatever, but I think they also add features that way. And I understand that they are continually improving and adding features. So by the time you read this there may be other features available that don't exist now. A good example is video length. I understand when they first came out these glasses were limited to 30-second videos...now they're up to 3 minutes. They might increase it further in the future...who knows? I really do like the glasses. They're fun. I'm 67.5 years old...so they're not just for the cool kids. In fact, I've just ordered prescription transition lenses and intend to make these my "regular" glasses. So I'll have all this cool tech on my head all the time. Can't wait!

These glasses are great except for the “Hey Meta” assistant feature. That never works and almost makes me want to return them.

I have an older pair of Ray-Ban stories, which took great pictures considering they are glasses. With the new glasses by Meta those pictures & video can post directly to Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, What’s app. The quality of the pictures is still there & the video quality was also very good. I’m not really impressed with the night pictures, it adjusts automatically & I don’t really think the pictures are that clear. The case it comes in is smaller & the glasses charge in the case with a usb-c cable, not provided this time. I wasn’t impressed with the battery power either, seemed to drain rather quickly. As far as listening to music, Bose has it all over these frames, the quality is ok but not outstanding. Texting & calls can be made just by saying “ Hey, Meta” . I was able to make calls this way but can not figure out how to answer them, still working on that one. Set up was very easy, step by step given through the app. The controls are on the frames, press once for photo, press & hold for video & slide forward or back for volume control, tap to change songs. This is also similar to the older pair I have. The style of the frames hasn’t changed either so even if you’re not into the pictures or video or other features, you still have a cool pair of Ray-ban wayfarer sunglasses. I’m liking the pictures it takes though, impressive & convenient.

First and foremost, you are buying excellent Rayban Wayfarer polarized sunglasses. Polarized lenses block reflections and reduce glare for better contrast and clarity. Your eyes will fall in love with what you see. You must FIRST want a pair of sunglasses even to consider the features here. Many other sunglasses are out there, but they are not THESE. If you love the fit and finish of the iconic Wayfarer style, you'll certainly appreciate all the tech innovation packed in this timeless frame. This year, there are two styles to choose from: Wayfarer and Headliner. There are many color and lens options, but you must remember that customizations are final, and you cannot swap lens options. If you don't have a Meta or Facebook account, you cannot use the smart features, so if you are against Facebook, these will not be for you. Actually, just make a new account for your glasses, and don't eliminate them because they are that good. Unboxing and Setup The presentation feels premium, and excitement builds with every pop of the paper zipper as you tear open the strip to reveal a familiar-looking Rayban glasses case, just in tan. I like it more already! It looks normal, unlike the Stories case, which was more cylindrical and not as well thought out. For setup, download the Metaview app, have FB/Meta login credentials handy, grab the case, and open it up! You'll notice the LED ring, which is a nice touch to indicate battery life. Pull the plastic tab from the nose area and start the app-guided setup process once powered on. Run through the app and enjoy the newly added features and streamlined setup! The pairing process is way less involved compared to the Stories of old. The app is snappy and handles the importing of files automatically when charging in the case using WiFi6 speeds. They have taken the pain from the file-importing process, making it easy to offload and use daily. The Meta Smart Wayfarers are refined and improved to the point that a new name was given, worthy of leaving the failed "Stories" moniker behind. It's what they should have done on their first go, and these no longer feel like engineering samples with weak tech for proof of concept. Hey, Meta as Wake Word is way cooler than Hey, Facebook. Finally, most of my wish list has been addressed with the speakers, mics, and camera upgrades. Now, I have usable smart eyewear I've adopted as my daily driver. My Rayban Aviators are now the backups; I don't miss them. I own multiple pairs of Bluetooth glasses, NONE come close to the value/build here. These have features and functions to set them apart from the competition and stand alone as smart glasses with cameras. Build Quality The frame, lenses, and hinges are all top-notch Luxottica/Rayban construction. Do not worry if these will last - they will! There is a one-year warranty to cover you as well. Sunglasses Hut are a good place to stop in with questions too! Just tell them about your cool glasses, and they will light up! The hinge is perfectly engineered and very robust. This is also my BIGGEST gripe is glasses get loose over time and need adjusting. The two T5 Torx screws make things difficult. There is no flex in the hinge or arms, which reassures me that these are solid glasses. These are also not waterproof, but they are IPX4 water-resistant. In other words, you are safe in light rain. Simply wipe them dry, and you're good to go. Prolonged exposure to rain or heavy rain is a concern of mine, but I don't wear them during rainy days. If wet, be sure to wait before putting them in the charger to avoid shorting something. In short, these are fantastically built sunglasses all the way around. As Smart Glasses These glasses were designed with tech to help you live in the moment and capture it with minimal effort. Inside, you will find a Qualcomm Snapdragon AR1 Gen 1 processor, Bluetooth 5.3, Wifi6, and FB/IG integration to share in the app, making these an influencer's dream. True BTS cam for sure! All the files are stored onboard for wireless transfer via the Meta View app. Moments are captured in clips up to 1-minute long in full visual and audio glory. The mic array records spatial audio so you hear things like you are there. With the inclusion of Meta AI voice controls, you can start and stop recording or skip songs hands-free. The assistant is very helpful, like most AI available, and provides helpful answers within seconds and accurately handles my prompts. Ask it questions like what is there to do around here, and you will be surprised! I did, however, find issues with songs randomly stopping after 3 minutes when not using their choice of streaming app named Spotify. I found the Meta app was opening Spotify in the background and closing my other music app on my Samsung Fold 5. Disable Spotify tap, and this should help. To overcome Meta AI integration limitations, simply use voice commands like Hey, Google/Siri to get dual AI assistants. Touch controls are excellent and very sensitive yet responsive and accurate. There is a small LED inside the glasses to let you know there are notifications or that the right eye LED on the frame is on. Photo & Video Quality The camera is leaps and bounds better than the Stories. The footage/photos are actually now useable. The 12MP sensor camera is portrait-oriented on the left eye and optimized to create content for social media on IG and FB. Generate 1440x1920px video @30 fps in 1 min snips are stored on the frames themselves. 32GB storage and imported through the app. Photos are of higher resolution at 3024x4032px. There seems to be light stabilization to improve the jitters and bumpy footage but it could also be the fit. Audio is recorded as though you were actually there again with all the sounds exactly where you remember them and according to where they are in the video. In low light, the quality breaks down, but still does the job to document or share your unique POV on social. You can livestream 720p up to 30 minutes. All posts are marked to advertise Meta Raybans made the content. There is only one lens for capture so everything seems off-centered when you are framed straight on. The footage is TOTALLY batter due to the 12MP sensor and also software improvements. Battery Life Battery life is rated up to 4 hours which in my opinion was closer to heavy use. In my testing, you see closer to 3.5-4hrs after I recorded lots of videos, used voice meta-assistant for hands-free controls, transferred files wirelessly to the app, while listening or talking on bluetooth. On a more typical day of use, I was easily able to make it 6 to 8 hours of just using bluetooth and nothing else. The case has enough battery storage for eight recharges. It took me 1 hour charge from 0 to 100% in the case. The case has a nice battery indicator ring to let you know that it is charging and also remaining battery life. The voice assistant lets you know battery life every time it turns on. Everything charges via a simple USB-C cable to ensure you can top the glasses off when not in use. Bluetooth & Sound Performance With Bluetooth 5.3, you get the latest power efficiency and audio standard. Only two basic codecs are supported. iOS gets AAC and Android uses SBC. The custom open ear speakers are greatly improved. Sound is clearer, fuller, and louder than the Stories but still need more bass. When watching videos there are no issues with latency or connectivity in the advertised range. As a Bluetooth calling device these standout from the rest with crystal clear audio. The caller comes through sounding like they are in the room with you with the open air fit. There is a lot of sound bleed at higher levels but if you keep this under 60% volume you will not be a nuisance. Whoever I am speaking to has no idea I am not holding my phone and on bluetooth. HUGE WIN! Due to the 5 Mic array, audio is recorded perfectly in spatial audio. There is no mention of noise canceling microphones but they sure work very well for calls. The tones and beeps used remind me of Metal Gear Solid and they are calming rather than annoying to me. Potential Deal Breakers: Not adjustable. Lens upgrades expensive. Temples frames are thick. Lenses are not swappable. Dual T5 hinge screws. Need 2-Torx drivers to adjust. Proprietary pin charging, no charge w/o case. Things to know: Vertical Video ONLY & locked @ 30fps. Camera in left eye offsets composition. Running at least Apple iOS 14.4 or Android 10. Meta Account to use OR ELSE! Temple arms are as thick. A microSD card high. Screw size is T5 Torx on hinges. Get two for adjusting hinge tension. Touch controls are super sensitive. Nose and temple arms are not adjustable for custom fit. Lens are not changeable - something to think about if your prescription changes. Ideas and Recommendations POV Dash Cam while on the road. Hands-free 1min clips. You can use these as a unique POV for sports highlights. Business owner, see what your crew sees and give live insights on repairs and fixes. Dad cam. Capture life without focusing on a camera. Just live in the moment. Use EQ if you can to improve sound. The Verdict If you are looking at these, money probably isn't going to be why you don't get these. These are now out of the early adopter phase and show they are ready for prime time. If you are wanting to go next level on your Ray Bans, these will make you stand out and you will always have something to talk about with people. For me these are a buy. All the kinks have been worked out. With this release, the Meta Wayfarer is now usable and a step towards normalization. Get the price down, and these will be on everyone's face for about $200-$250. These are a GO!

Ray-Ban - Meta Smart Wayfarer Bluetooth Audio Glasses - Matte Black/Polarized Gradient Graphite Summary: Bold, comfortable, and feature packed. Improved over first generation. Pros: * Fit. These units fit nice and snug on my wide head. They are comfortable to wear for moderate periods of time. * Look. Typical of Ray Ban, these have a very classic yet sleek look. If it weren't for the lights, I don't think would guess they were Smart Glasses. * Weight. These units feel a tad lighter than the previous generation of Wayfarer, but not so much that they feel cheap. * Build. In fact, these units feel really well made. I like my glasses to have a bit of stiffness to them while opening up. Why? Because I like snug fits. * Sleek. These units have hidden the electronics quite well. Buttons have a barely noticeable profile, speakers hidden, and the power button almost eluded me were it not for my experience with the previous generation. * Case/ Battery. As with the previous generation, the carrying case is also the charging case. It has its own battery to charge the glasses while on the go. The case is made to resemble a more classic leather carrying case. The power/charging/pairing LED is thoughtfully present on the magnetic clasp that secures the case closed. The USB-C charging port is on the bottom and the Bluetooth pairing button tucked away in the back. The magnetic clasp has excellent strength and unlikely to open due to a drop. The case itself has two retractable prongs that firmly grip the glasses when placed inside. In fact, maybe too snug! But these ensure that the glasses are making the proper and contact with the charging terminals which are on the bottom side of the nose rest. They also ensure the glasses won't fall out of the case should the clasp come undone during a drop. * Image and Video Quality. The original Wayfarers captured surprisingly high-quality images and videos. It has the same 12 megapixels as the iPhone Pro Max 12 and 13. Though they don't state it in the specs, it looks to have some form of optical image stabilization (OIS) because videos are remarkably stable. Filming a "found footage" video, provided recording duration allowed, with these would not be as nauseating. * Audio. The audio quality of these glasses is equally as surprising as the original model. It is crisp and for a second can be confusing - as in you might forget you don't have earphones on! If you're on a hike or a walk or bike ride these will provide plenty of great quality sound while granting situational awareness as your ears remain open and uncovered. Sure, bass won't be as deep, but if you're wanting to jam with these like you would any other type of ear bud, then you should adjust your expectations and consider your primary use case for glasses such as these. * (Voice) Controls. The controls are responsive! The double tap to kick off a Spotify playlist is awesome, the volume slide back and forth works well, and the tap to take calls or pause/resume work just as you would want and without the unsightly presence of physical buttons. Though there is one button that protrudes slightly for camera control, the voice commands of Meta work well too. In fact, I feel they are even more responsive than the previous generation of Wayfarer. Saying, "Meta take a picture" takes a picture in an instant without the delay I expected. * Privacy. The camera privacy design is thoughtful. These glasses go a step further than the previous generation to guarantee privacy: the external subject facing cameras feature a LED that cannot be covered. Doing so will cause the camera to prompt you to remove the obstruction. This is a departure from the previous generation. * UV protection. These units are equipped with UV-A and UV-B protective coating for your eyes. * Options. These units come in 10 varieties of color and lens options. I had my previous generation Wayfarers equipped with prescription lenses featuring customized lenses (transitions + prescription) from Lenscrafters. I think I'll do the same with these units. Cons: * Privacy. As much I respect people's concerns regarding being photographed or recorded, in today's day and age, I feel like it should just be a given. We have phones, we have home security cameras, we have retail cameras, we even have traffic and satellite cameras. We even have drones (I have two). Snapping pictures or videos of scenery, venues, landmarks, landscapes, or events are virtually guaranteed to have unwitting subjects included. If anything, I feel it can cause a reaction where none is warranted. Imagine grabbing a snapshot of a subject (non-human) in the distance. Then imagine that there is a person in between you and the subject. Now with the LED always visible (i.e. unconcealable), you could elicit a reaction by the unwitting subject despite them not being the subject. I think most people are reasonable, but I also feel that this might be problematic and cause issues. Again, completely within their rights, but I think the controls and judgement should be left to the photographer - similarly to when we do the same without phones and drones. An option to disable the LED should be available. I won't be taking *this* pair to places where I might expect a bunch of people to be around and so that limits their use in places with high traffic like popular hiking spots and land marks. * Size. I wish the sizes were better described. Large vs standard doesn't tell me much and I do wonder if the large would have been a better fit. I didn't know about the option and therefore didn't try them on. Though the fit of the standard is snug and comfortable, I wonder if the large would be similar but perhaps more proportional. It's something to consider, but neither here nor there for me now given my use. Use: So, the primary use for these glasses is I think what the Wayfarer was designed for: I go for walks with my doggies. I go for bike rides. I go hiking with my family. Even driving around town. If I need to listen to music, take calls, or snap photos of my adventures I can do so without having to carry or pull out my phone. I can do so while being aware of my surroundings and while protecting my eyes from UV. I have my regular prescription glasses I use for when I'm at my desk and don't need them for any other activity - so the size I selected isn't a problem. But if you need something you plan on making your primary glasses, then consider the size you select and whether or not there participating Lenscrafters near you than can customize the lenses to your needs. Overall, I feel these glasses are a great value and I think if you have a need similar to mine, these are an excellent choice and an upgrade against the first generation.

I highly recommend the Meta Ray-Ban smart glasses for anyone looking to combine style, technology, and everyday practicality. They maintain the classic and elegant Ray-Ban design while offering innovative features such as hands-free photo and video capture, high-quality audio, and seamless integration with smart assistants. The glasses are comfortable to wear, easy to use, and perfect for capturing moments without needing to reach for a phone. Overall, the Meta Ray-Ban glasses are an excellent choice for people who value convenience, modern technology, and timeless design.

I think the biggest problem with these is that they are sunglasses. Getting to live stream watching my kid’s hockey game so my family can watch is awesome… but watching through sunglasses bugs me. With that said I really wish these weren’t limited to Instagram and Facebook. Messenger would be awesome to do video conferencing with or WhatsApp, where I’m not broadcasting to the world and my dad could feel like he is in person during holidays he has to miss every once in a while. So basically, I don’t like it that it doesn’t have more integration with more facebook products and seems to be aimed at social media versus more personal interactions; I also don’t like that they are just sunglasses, but that is quite fixable and I am currently doing that; and I don’t like the battery life, it’s better, but it still has a way to go on that front and four hours is optimistic. With all that out there… What a difference a generation makes. The glasses and the app. I like the old generation for what they were and as a Bluetooth headset they worked quite well, but these take it to the next level. First, mat black is so much better than shiny black. Second, the case with integrated charging is so much better. Everything is a little bit slimmer and just better designed. The fact that these have live streaming is just amazing. Don’t think that you’ll be sleuthing around taking videos of everyone with no one the wiser as there is an LED on the right side that turns on a varies in intensity so as to attract attention I assume. I like this feature as it adds a level of comfort to everyone around you who might get a little bit… hesitant... around cameras in glasses. Just having them out of the case and on your head drains the battery, with me doing nothing with them on a drive, they lost about 6% in an hour. Once I got to the hockey game and did some recording, they lost about 10% in as many minutes and one live stream even took them even further down, basically if you planning on live streaming plan on a dead battery in 30 min. I would also recommend not downloading photos until you are done or can put them in the case for a bit (which you can upload while they are in the case) Using them just as Bluetooth headsets and taking some pictures every once in a while is how I assume they get the 4 hours. However, I am closer to 2.5 hours in my use, but I did switch the default of one click to a 60 second video versus a picture. The speakers are so much clearer and the music sounds pretty good on them and everyone says I come across crystal clear, except if I put them on my head I almost completely disappear, I found this out when I walked inside while talking and naturally just rose them to the top of my head so I could see more clearly. So that is the main difference is the mics are much more attuned to being on your eyes and don’t work if the glasses are 5” higher. Also, if you haven’t worn for a bit, don’t expect to be able to just whip them out, if it’s been awhile they go into a pretty deep sleep and take 15 or 20 seconds to boot up and connect to your phone and realize they need to be awake. Overall, they look and feel like Rayban quality sunglasses with the added benefit of being able to capture video, camera and voice. And if I could wave my wand and ask for anything it would be the ability to use the live video on messenger or WhatsApp while being able to choose if the speakers could be heard by everyone or just me as well as the mic working for just me or for everyone… the ultimate experience of someone being there that can’t be there.

I recently had the pleasure of trying out the Ray-Ban Meta Smart Wayfarer Bluetooth Audio Glasses in Matte Black/Polarized Gradient Graphite, and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed. The matte black frame with polarized gradient graphite lenses with that classic Wayfarer design, which not only complements various face shapes but also adds a touch of timeless elegance. Ray-Ban has masterfully merged fashion and technology, creating a seamless blend effortlessly. These smart glasses come with built-in Bluetooth bone conduction speakers discreetly integrated into the frames. The audio quality is very impressive, delivering clear and crisp sound without compromising on comfort. I would have my friends try them on and then play a song and seeing their faces light up when they heard the song and the confusion of how they were hearing the music was hilarious. Whether I'm on a call, listening to my favorite music, podcasts, the audio experience is immersive, allowing me to enjoy my content without the hassle of wearing traditional headphones. I had to go shopping with my girlfriend during college football and just put the game on my phone and was listening to the commentary and she had no clue I was listening to the game. The touch-sensitive controls on the right frame are intuitive and responsive. Adjusting the volume, skipping tracks, or answering calls is as simple as a tap or a swipe, eliminating the need to fumble for my phone constantly. The hands-free convenience these glasses offer is a game-changer, especially when I'm multitasking or on the go. The Meta personal assistant needs some work in that it can’t integrate with some 3rd party apps on my phone such as asking it to open my music app it says it can't do that. The 12 Megapixel cameras are very impressive taking clear photos and videos. Just press the button on the right frame and you can capture the moment in an instant. Pressing and holding the button will start filming video for up to 1 minute. Was a little disappointed it only can videos for 1 minute but I guess that's meta just wanting the length to be that for Reels posts. You can also ask the Meta assistant to take a picture or start filming if your hands are full which is a great feature. The left frame has a privacy switch where you can turn the cameras off, if you want so you are not accidentally filming or taking pictures. The Meta View app is very user friendly and makes it easy with step-by step instructions to pair your sunglasses to your phone. In the app is where you manage your media and settings. All your photos and videos will be stored here and then you can transfer them to your phone's photo album or you can select what you want to post to all Meta’s social media apps. Battery life is surprisingly good with about 2 and half hrs and then you can just charge them in the case which has about 3 charges in it. The case is the charger for the sunglasses and you can charge it with a USB-C port. I was a little disappointed that they didn't include a USB-C cord with them. Overall, the Ray-Ban Meta Smart Wayfarer Bluetooth Audio Glasses have exceeded my expectations. Ray-Ban and Meta have successfully created a product that seamlessly combines style, comfort, and cutting-edge technology. I’ve shown these to a handful of my friends and two of them have gone out and bought a pair. So, If you're looking for a stylish and innovative tech accessory, I can not recommend these enough and give these smart glasses a try.

Having bought these for Christmas as a present for someone who said they did not want them. So I naturally kept it and started using this for myself. HOLY COW these glasses are useful! So easy and quick to start using and wastes no time to get a video recording started. Extremely useful in situations where quick thinking and action needs to be taken to record something in the moment. Fits great and blocks the sun perfectly.

The five built-in microphones mean my voice is always clear on the other end, even with background noise. Taking a call without ever touching my phone feels incredibly natural and freeing. The Convenience of Built-in AI The integrated Meta AI is a fantastic addition. These Smart glasses attracted my attention when they were first announced. Ray-Ban Stories were the first generation and I liked those but used them mostly as just sun glasses. Now when Meta has partnered with Ray-Ban to make the second gen and announced all the new improvements they did to the product, I decided to give them another try and was able to get Ray-Ban Meta - Wayfarer (Standard) Smart with Bluetooth Audio. Here are my experiences with these glasses: First of all, they are comfortable, its design is trendy and they look exactly like any regular Ray-Bans in this category. They are not chunky and its weight is simply perfect, even though they house, two cameras, microphones, speakers and a processing unit, etc. Image and Video quality is excellent for a pair of sunglasses and I was very impressed how pictures turn out when transferred to my phone. The shutter button is conveniently located on top of the right arm, however thanks to the embedded AI Assistant, yes these Smart Glasses feature a full-fledged AI helper to answer your questions. So if you need to take a picture or a video, you simple say: "Hey Meta, take a picture" and just like that you are shooting a 12MP picture. This Smart Glasses are definitely great for the first person photo and video. Now, just make sure you do not wear a baseball hat like I did, a mistake you will see later in your pictures. Now, let's talk about the Audio quality. Speakers on these glasses rock! I mean, the sound is pure, crisp and sound like a good pair of headphones. What's amazing is there is nothing poking in your ears, the sound flows out of the glasses and surrounds you in a way. Also, unlike the first gen these smart glasses do not leak the sound everywhere so the people around you can hear everything. At 50% volume, you are enjoying your music, not your friends or family who are with you at the moment. I really like taking calls with these Smart Glasses, use them for biking and listening to my favorite playlists and podcasts. Now, since there is no display inside or on your lenses, I am still hoping for Google like glasses some day in the future, as a lot of your requests and conversations with the AI Meta Assistant will rely on the Audio feedback. I found the answers were right on and are very a matter of fact. You can choose a number of different voices to your liking. Of course the glasses rely on your phone's data or internet connection to answer your questions. Overall, I am very pleased and surprised by these glasses. They are definitely going to be used a lot and I look forward to new gen of AI Smart glasses next year!

I am loving my new Ray Ban Meta Wayfarer sunglasses! When you first get the sunglasses, you don't really know what to expect. But once you open the box you are immediately reminded that to own one of the coolest pieces of tech today. The glasses come in a classic Ray Ban tan case, but with a twist. The case is actually a charging case. It is only slightly bigger than a traditional Ray Ban case. It has a dot light indicator on front to tell you when it's on and when it's charging. Setting up the glasses are very easy with the meta view app. There were zero issues when pairing the glasses. The app then takes you through a brief tutorial. Then you are ready to rock your new shades! I immediately starting snapping photos and shooting videos of my wife and daughter in my living room. They wanted to be mad but couldn't because the idea was so cool. I then took them to work with a bunch of paranoid construction workers and started filming them during our morning and afternoon hang outs. They too were tickled by how cool the shades were, they didn't even care that i was filming them. The photo and video resolution is excellent. You cannot truly believe that it is filmed or shot on a pair of sunglasses. The media shows up on the app where you can extract to your phone. It is pretty simple and easy to use. It can also automatically download to your phone if you like. These sunglasses even have built in speakers and act like headphones. The sound quality is actuality very good. I currently own a different brand of Headphone sunglasses, and the Ray Bans blow them away. The buttons are very easy to locate, touch, and get the hang of. I had no issues controlling everything with ease. There is a bright light on the glasses that come on when you take a photo or video. This let's people know you are recording them. I like this feature because it maintains full disclosure on what you are doing. Battery life is decent, the more i played with them, the more i noticed how quickly the battery can deplete. Just make sure you have your case handy. Overall, i think that these sunglasses are worth every penny. They perform very well and are great conversation starters. I really like how simple and intuitive it is to record videos with these glasses. The camera quality is good, and I’ve used them many times on trips to capture quick videos for Instagram Stories without pulling out my phone. That convenience alone is a big win. They’re also nice for listening to music in quiet places. The open-ear speakers sound decent and let you stay aware of your surroundings, which I actually like when walking or traveling. However, in loud environments the audio quality drops noticeably, which is expected with open-ear speakers but still worth mentioning. The biggest downside for me is the battery life. In cold weather, the battery drained within about an hour, which was very disappointing. I’m pretty sure the low temperature made it worse, but even so, the battery performance is a major turn-off. Meta AI is another weak point right now. It feels very limited and not particularly useful. I really wish it supported something more powerful like ChatGPT. Overall, great idea and fun to use for quick video capture, but battery life and AI features need serious improvement.

I like Reviewing Everything I use and when the Ray Ban Stories first came out, I got them because I enjoy taking pictures as well as videos, and for the most part I post them for my family and friends to see. And now that the second generation came out I had to try them and they are superior to the first generation, they are amazing and much better than anything out there. First they come well packaged, they come with the charging case, glasses, cleaning cloth, instructions and a very useful application; they do not come with a cable or a charging adapter, on the other hand I have plenty of USB C cables so I do not need another one. The instructions for setup are very simple, download the app, charge the case and follow the instructions that walk you step by step on how to use them as well as get to know them. The application is very easy to use; they do connect my glasses to my phone, to Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp. I really like how easy it is to take pictures or videos, and best of all they look amazing. The pictures using the 12 megapixel camera takes photos of 4032 x 3024 px, and videos of 1920 x 1440 px @ 30Fps and finally the sound is amazing because when I play back the videos I can hear the amazing sounds from all over because the glasses have five microphones. And speaking of sound, as a triathlete and marathoner I can hear to music while I am aware of my surroundings while I am doing most activities and the music sounds great, much better than the previous version, it still does not compare to earbuds because they are not in my ears but I am really enjoying my glasses because these sunglasses not only do they have great sound, they offer a lot more. The glasses connect via Bluetooth 5.3 or Wi-Fi 2.4-5 Ghz. One thing to enjoy the most is the Meta AI, all I have to say is “Hey Meta” and I can either take a picture, video or ask anything I want like the weather or air quality. The glasses have a touch pad on the right, it is not visible but when I want to put the volume up/down, pause, play, play music from Spotify and more I can do it with a soft touch to the glasses, just awesome. Streaming, is easy, I can start live streaming with my phone, switch back and forth with the glasses it comes out fantastic. To take a picture there is a button that all I have to do is touch once and there is a picture, and the glasses have an led to let me know it took the picture, long press the button and it will take a minute of video while I can see it is recording it also lets others know I am recording because there is an LED light to show that I am doing so. Overall these glasses from Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer are amazing, not only do they look cool, elegant and fantastic, I can listen to music or anything I want to listen to while hiking, running, or just bring them with me to take pictures, videos or even live stream. I can also hear my messages and send them back by using Meta’s AI, also by using Meta’s assistant I have access to get information just using my voice.
