    Decent Pair Of Sunglaassea

This pair of smart glasses is my first experience with this category of gear so i went in with no expectations. In fact i had no idea what they were so i was going in open minded. With all that being said I can safely say that they are at the very least interesting. First up, the positives about them. They are Ray-Ban glasses which to me says "quality". I've never owned Ray-Bans before and as a pair of sunglasses they seem nice and well made. The tint could stand to be a little darker but that is a minor quibble in the grand scheme of things. One thing i was pleasantly surprised by was the quality of the built in speakers when listening to music. First i wasn't expecting them to have speakers so that starts off as a surprise bonus. The side slider to control the volume is nice and easy to use. Battery life seems ok and I've been able to go an entire day with moderate use with no issue. The charging case feels nice and seems to be made of leather and is itself charged by standard USB-C. A charging cable is not included whidh is fine with me as I already have several lying around. Setup was easy and just required installing the Meta app to my iPhone. The glasses feel a tad bit tight on my head but I do have a larger head and is not an unknown issue. If you wear prescription glasses there is a QR code in the instructions to find a local place to get prescription lenses installed. There are some interesting built in AI features such as asking the glasses to identify what you are currently looking at or other general type queries. Pictures and video shot by the glasses are fairly decent. Now the not go good stuff. The first of those is that I have to install yet another app to my phone. I guess that is to be expected. The app/glasses really want to know your location at all times, not just when using the app, It also asks to connect to the wi-fi network of the glasses and asks you to almost all the time. it also wants you to have the app run constantly in the background and will nag you through notifications to do this. Over all I found these features rather intrusive and a bit disquieting. To say these gave me privacy concerns is putting it mildly,. Over all for what this product is intended for it's a pretty good device. if you are serious about privacy just know going in to limit its access to your phone and services.

A smart glasses that works as an assistant on the go! I have the previous version in the Wayfarer model but without the AI feature. When these new Skyler Smart Glasses with Meta AI came out, I knew I have to have it and when it finally arrived, I was so excited to test it out. I already liked the previous version, the photo and video quality are decent and worked for my needs. However, with the addition of AI, this latest model definitely pushed the level up a notch. Similar to the older version, the Skyler smart glasses was easy to link with the Meta app. No problems so far reconnecting whenever I turn this off. Upon taking a few photos, the app shows the photos that are ready to import. Syncing the photos to my iPhone was a breeze - I usually just import all the photos into my phone and just delete the unwanted ones from there which makes the process simpler for me this way. The audio, video and photo quality is really good, I am quite shocked that zooming in the photo reveals the tiny details. What I am really excited about this version is the AI assistant and the ability of the glasses to identify what is in front of me. I am having fun asking the glasses - "Hey Meta, look, what do I see in front of me?" and Meta will tell me what it sees which so far has been accurate. I have also tested it to identify the type of flowers, so far there were a couple of misses but it was able to tell that a flower in front of me has dried out. Haha! I can also ask it random questions similar to a Google assistant, and I can even ask it to play music on Spotify. I wished the screen would show some sort of a grid when taking photos or videos though, as I have taken quite a few shots that weren't centered or objects were cut - most likely my fault as I did not aim properly. The grid may help with centering and making sure objects are within the frame. Otherwise, these smart glasses are a really good assistant to go. I am sure I will enjoy using them during summer.

    Cool, wearable, sunglasses… for ladies

I like to start this review with positive and open up with that. I’ll start by saying the glasses came in a very nice box and the unboxing was a very nice presentation. The Box had easy to follow instructions for downloading the application to set up the glasses. The set up took a little bit of time due to difficulty with pairing at first. Eventually was able to pair and then update the glasses to a few more minutes. The application does a nice job with a walk-through of how the glasses work. Essentially the glasses allow you to listen to Spotify, Amazon Music or Apple Music, which is the services that I have. you can connect to just one of those services with a tap on the glasses. But it worked very well. You can also easily use One of those music applications from your phone to brows the application. I was able to listen to podcast fairly nicely and also listen to music. The glasses even worked with the lifted up onto the forehead if you Had to take off the glasses. Also, the photo and video recording worked really well too. Connect to Instagram and Facebook and upload images from the Glasses Through the Glasses app. Lastly the glasses also use AI, to say hey Meta and ask it a question. Didn’t use the AI function a whole lot and it was slightly buggy, but that’s kind of been the way it is for years between Siri, Alexa and Google. Overall, I think it’s a pretty good execution between fashionable technology that are a nice looking pair of sunglasses, for ladies. Now, for the negative, the glasses pretty much are strictly for ladies. They have a very feminine design and just did not look appropriate on my head and face. In fact after I got the glasses, I noticed that all the advertisements are strictly using women to show off the glasses, Which is basically why I’m giving this four stars. This may be OK for you but just know what it is before you’re getting. The glasses did have a very nice glossy finish and light on the head, even with speakers and cameras built-in.

This review is for the new Ray Ban Meta Wayfarer sunglasses with Meta Al built in. Take hands free to a whole new level with Meta Al. Meta can do all kinds of things for you, like take photos with the built in camera. At a concert and want to show off to all your friends, Just ask Meta and you can start streaming live on facebook. And the best part no one else will know that is around you and it's hands free. The photos it takes are decent and very easy to use. The sound quality is good. Sounds like you have ear buds in. When turned up, in a quiet room people around you can hear Meta taking back with you. But its so easy to make calls, send texts or just ask Meta random questions throughout the day. And the sunglasses themselves are the same high quality you would expect from Ray-Ban. The polarized technology intercepts reflections and reduces glare, Virtually eliminates glare from the sun. My eyes are so sensitive I can hardly leave the house without a pair of sunglasses. And these are quickly becoming my favorite pair to wear. They come with a very nice case that also doubles as a charger. I've only had them a week but so far the battery life has been fine not needing to charge in the middle of the day yet.

    Good brand but crappy color!

I love the Ray Ban Smart Glasses but here’s a couple things that I don’t like about the Skylar color…for context, I was told that this color is polarized but it’s not. When someone is looking at you, they can see your eyes because the color is super light, not really tinted at all. I was also told that the shade adjust to the light, when you walk outside and it’s sunny, it gets darker and when you walk inside it gets lighter, that’s also not true. Also, the glasses don’t really do a good job on protecting your eyes when the sun is in your eyes while driving, you might as well take them off and stare right at the sun, I feel like that’s because the shade is super light. If I knew that this shade was so crappy, I would’ve got the blue polarized color. Like I said I love the glasses because I wanted them for all the features it has, I just hate the color. The lady that was helping me at the Best Buy and answering my questions when I bought these had no education on these so she didn’t really answer much of my questions. If you’re going to sell these glasses, make sure the employees have an understanding of them so they can answer the customers questions. I wish I had a chance to return them and get a different shade.

I bought these glasses from best buy, had to send them out to get prescription lenses. When they came back, the glasses were not functioning at all Best buy said because I was over my 15 days i could not exchange them. They said I had to contact the manufacturer. Ashame 400 dollars and another 200 dollars in lenses to have regular frames. Poor customer service on best buys end. Manufacture warranties are terrible.
