The Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarers are a wild mix of classic style and futuristic tech, and honestly, they’re kind of awesome—but not perfect. They look just like regular Wayfarers (so no awkward “tech gadget” vibes), but they pack in open-ear speakers, dual 12MP cameras, and smooth Meta integration for things like live-streaming or snapping quick pics. The audio is shockingly clear for open-ear, and the photo quality is solid (unless it’s dark—then, not so much). They’re a bit heavier than normal glasses, and the 4-6 hour battery life isn’t ideal if you’re out all day. Oh, and privacy? A little iffy since the camera’s so low-key, even with the LED indicator. Still, if you want wearable tech that doesn’t scream “I’m a cyborg,” these are seriously worth checking out (just be ready to charge them often).

I own the Ray-Ban Stories and have been pretty happy with them. Naturally, I was excited to see how the Ray-Ban Meta sunglasses would improve upon the previous generation of smart sunglasses. Set up was easy since all I had to do was follow the app’s directions. After a quick update, I was ready to give these sunglasses a trial run. I was pleasantly surprised that the sunglasses connected to my phone within seconds after taking them out of the case. Sound/music I noticed the Ray-Ban Meta really improved upon the quality of the speakers. They were quite a bit louder, with the sound crisper and clearer than the previous version. These can control Spotify, but have limited functions with other third party music apps. I was able to play, pause, fastforward, and rewind, but was not able to request a specific song from Apple Music. Calls The calls sounded great and I could hear the caller very well. The caller stated that I sounded very clear and natural. I tried to imitate the sound of wind to see how the call performed in a windy environment, but either the glasses did really well or I did not generate enough noise! Pictures/Videos The Ray-Ban Meta version has made some great improvements on photo quality. The images are clear and seem to be zoomed in more than the previous version's pictures. In addition, videos also looked and sounded great. If you are looking for a great pair of smart sunglasses, then I would recommend the Ray-Ban Meta. I thought the previous version was pretty good, but I think these are great.

I have been a tech nerd for bluetooth sunglasses for a few months now. I bought some online from Amazon and was very pleased. When I saw these I geeked out and bought them. I then had prescription lenses put in them. I am very happy with them. Below are a few notes: Sound - has been the best of all the bluetooth glasses brands I have bought, great sound (obviously not for loud venues). Fit - I got the large size and probably should have gotten the smaller one. These are a bit heavy so the larger size makes them slide down a bit but it's manageable. Picture taking - is great looks good clear images The app is good, you can coordinate it to your iPhone so you can make calls or send texts saying 'hey Meta' Battery life - the only reason it does not get 5 stars. it's convenient to charge them in the case, but my biggest issue with these is the minimal battery life. it really only does last 4 hours. I've tried to manually turn them off when not using them but it sucks to have to remember to do this all the time. I would sit at work listening to music with these only to have them remind me of low battery after a few hours. Overall - fantastic glasses but hopefully later iterations will have better battery life.

Got it Black Friday for a good deal. They do the job well - great gift for people who need glasses and love to take pictures/videos. Got them inserted with prescription lenses for my lady at an opticians. Some opticians are unable to do that for now. The sizes are a bit hit and miss. You can’t exactly heat them to fit better with all the electronics. There needs to be a better way to fit these on more head sizes. Sound is great. It certainly feels futuristic.

I bought these as a birthday gift for myself and I love them. For a pair of glasses the picture quality is pretty good. I wear them to the gym and the battery lasts through my whole 2hr workout with more to spare. I love the fact that when I am running they do not fall off my face and the sould of the music to perfect. Calls are very clear. I wish there was a feature like “find my” because losing a pair of expensive glasses like these or having them stolen and no way to find them would suck. Over all. I like them and use them every day.

video works great on these even when riding bumpy mountain bike trails.. image stabilization works very well.. sound quality is great when listening to music, phone calls, and ai responses,.. microphone noise cancelling is awesome. Only complaint is about the battery,.. it charges fast when you use the case but if you are going to use it for video and photos a lot you will have to recharge the glasses a few times a day. But if just using for headphone replacement and ai functions you can get through half of the day or more on one charge in my experience. Also live video streaming for Instagram and WhatsApp is very cool to use especially if you need to show people how to do something and you need both hands free. Once you have a pair of these you'll have a hard time living withoiut them.

Thanks to these glasses, I’ve been able to capture POV videos of my one-year-old daughter toddling around outdoor parks, indoor playgrounds, church sanctuaries and more. And how great to record precious moments that would pass before i’m able to whip out my phone camera! Not to mention, i can take mirror selfies with no visible camera! The (portrait/vertical-only) 1080p media can be cropped and even upscaled using various apps later. Smaller files (3:00 min max) make for fast file transfers. Recording drains the battery more quickly, but at this price, i just got two. I can switch glasses (both with transistion lenses) when one needs to recharge (in the handsome case). I hope my wife and family will re-watch these clips for years to come. Priceless.
