Nice but some issues

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have the Bose Tempo sunglasses (now discontinued) and the audio of these Wayfarers doesn’t come close to the Bose glasses. The bass on the Wayfarers is almost nonexistent. These glasses, however, have the added advantage of recording video and taking photos, which look pretty good, but I wish there was an option to do video and photos in landscape mode. I also wish the hinges were spring loaded. Either these fit or they don’t. Not a lot of give in the arms, so if they’re a little tight, you’ll just have to live with it. For the most part they are comfortable and don’t have a lot of added weight, but these seem like an in-between iteration of what will eventually be a much better device. One note—these do not work well with hoodies. The fabric constantly hits the arm of the sunglasses and turns off the music.

Regarding the transition lenses not darkening enough. Transition lenses need direct exposure to UV rays in order to darken. The more sunlight they are exposed to, the darker they'll become. Keep in mind, transition lenses will likely not darken in a car as modern windshields are designed to block most UV rays.

Superb Eyewear

I had a previous pair, and I find that the new ones have an impressive battery life, so I don't have to worry about frequent charging. The camera quality is excellent, and the transition of the glass color is better than in the previous version. Overall, this is an outstanding product.

Great combination of technology and function

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great pair of "smart" glasses/sunglasses that has a camera for picture and video that can be actuated via button on the right glasses arm or verbally by a command prompted by Meta "take a picture" or "take a video" . It can also livestream if you are into the Meta Apps. Not as stylish as most Luxottica models, but follows the popular Wayfarer (close to Mega Wayfarer) and Headliner styles in various lens options and frame colors. The best bonus is that it is a pretty good audio device as well for open ear listening of music, podcasts, audio books, etc with volume controls, track selection controls, etc. You can even make phone calls on it if you choose. If you need prescription lenses they can be ordered from RayBan or local Optical center.

I used my glasses on the airplane watching a movie and it was perfect. Alot of peo0le think you are talking to yourself because all they see is glasses not thinking they are bluetooth.
