About two weeks ago, I purchased two pair of the meta glasses from Best Buy. I waited patiently for them to come in the mail, due to wanting a clear lens that was not available in the store. Once I was able to set the meta glasses up to my phone if I didn't have to take them off, I wouldn't they do everything that out to possibly have dreamed of using them for, while I'm grocery shopping, I can listen to music, at my daughters music recital I was able to record hands-free, get information of places and things around me, I also ca Cantab to answer phone calls. I am very satisfied with my purchase, and I look forward to purchasing more items from Best Buy.

It’s intuitive and surprisingly accurate—no yelling “HEY META” twelve times like you're summoning a ghost. Camera quality? Pretty solid for quick photos and short video clips. Think Instagram Story quality, not cinematic masterpiece. But for on-the-go content or capturing those blink-and-you-miss-it moments, it more than gets the job done. Sound quality? Here's where things get dicey. While the audio sounds fine to the wearer, the speaker placement—right at the nose bridge—is not ideal. If you’re on a call or playing something out loud, people on the other end may struggle to hear you clearly, especially in noisy environments. It’s one of those “great in theory, tricky in practice” situations. Not a dealbreaker, but definitely a detail Meta needs to refine. Battery life? About 4 hours with moderate use—so don’t expect a full day of adventure without a recharge. Final Verdict: These glasses are a whole vibe. If you're into wearables and want something that blends style and smart features, the Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer is a forward-thinking fashion flex. Super cool glasses and the microphone for my voice is better than the earbuds i use. The fit is great, my only less than expected are the lenses, would be helpful if these were darker.

I have always been a Ray Ban fan! Wayfarers are my favorite. I also have the Stories version. I think the Meta version is intended to supersede the Stories version as they are very similar. As I have both versions, I will comment on some of the differences between the two. I did not receive this in retail packaging. So, I have no comments on the packaging. You receive the case, glasses, a cloth and some paperwork. The case charges via USB-C. YOU DO NOT RECEIVE A USB-C CORD or CHARGER. I was really surprised by this. The set up was really easy as I already had the Meta app. I added a new device and the process first failed. You need to press the button on the back of the case to put the Meta glasses into pairing mode. Once this was done, I could easily add the glasses to the Meta app. So I now had the Stories and Meta glasses available in the Meta app. Using the Meta glasses is straight forward. You turn them on with the slider on the inside of the frame. One click takes a picture (On the Stories one click takes a video). A double click takes a video (On the Stories this takes a picture). I always hated how the one click took a video instead of a picture on the Stories. I took many 1 second videos ARGH! Please look at the picture taken from each version of glasses. Audio works the same. You use the right frame to slide your finger and adjust the volume. The sound is fine but it is open air listening. It is OK but not as good as using ear buds. Your sound will be impacted by a noisy environment. I find the fit to be a little narrow on the Meta. My Stories are fine for fitment. The Meta version is narrower. I do not have a super large head as far as I know. For me, the fit of the Stories is better. The case of the Meta version is nicer than the Stories. It looks and feels like leather. I do not think it is leather though. The charging is from near the bridge of the nose area. It does fit snug in the case. The case is slightly smaller. I did switch the Meta glasses to a different phone for testing. You need to remove the glasses from the Meta app on the old phone. You need to factory reset the Meta glasses. Initiate pairing for the Meta glasses and then pair them to the different phone. You cannot use the glasses on two different phones (aka Facebook accounts). Summary – The Ray Ban Wayfarer Meta are great smart glasses! I rate them 4 out of 5 stars. I deduct a star as there is no USB-C charging cable provided. For a smaller head I would pick the Meta version. For a larger head I would pick the Stories version. You should try them on before you buy one.

These are so cool. I use them to record my photo sessions and also when I work out. I was surprised by the speaker quality as I had simply bought them for the photo/video quality. It’s nice to have “headphones” I don’t have to put in my ears. The “Hey Meta” function works nicely too. The only issue you may run into is if you have long hair you’ll need to pin it back or tuck it behind your ears because it gets in the way when you’re trying to record.
