But the camera is kind of a game changer. I have been documenting some car work and being able to snap pics of exactly what I am looking at, or take video, with no need to touch anything is pretty great. In public these have also changed my car-spotting game. Wife has since picked up a pair.

Regarding the transition lenses not darkening enough. Transition lenses need direct exposure to UV rays in order to darken. The more sunlight they are exposed to, the darker they'll become. Keep in mind, transition lenses will likely not darken in a car as modern windshields are designed to block most UV rays.

RayBay Metas do this pretty well. They are comfortable enough to wear them most of the time I’m outside. Meta AI works quite well especially since it’s a completely hands free feature. I took these for a trip to Tokyo and it was great to shoot stealth stills and videos for Stories and Reels. These haven’t been launched Internationally so when traveling overseas you have just headphones and camera.
