Not sure if they used that material because the sound but it makes it feel cheap. Other than that I love all the features.

I’ve seen others look like idiots indoors with shades on. So this was nice yo have the clear lens while indoors. Wife’s Christmas gift

The only down fall is tge transition lens doesn’t get very dark almost non existent but other tgan that a great purchase.
