Iconic Style Meets Discreet Tech First and foremost, these look and feel like a premium pair of Ray-Bans. The design is sleek, lightweight, and incredibly comfortable for all-day wear. The genius is how discreet the technology is. Unlike clunky competitors, these truly blend in, which is crucial for capturing moments without drawing attention. The aesthetic is 10/10—classic Ray-Ban style that everyone recognizes. The Best Hands-Free Camera I've Ever Used The camera quality is genuinely impressive. The 12 MP camera captures crisp photos and brilliant 1080p video, even in challenging lighting. The ability to simply say "Hey Meta, take a picture" or tap the side to start recording has completely revolutionized how I capture my life. No fumbling for my phone! I've caught candid, natural moments—from hiking views to quick family memories—that I would have otherwise missed. The first-person perspective is immersive and amazing to share. Immersive Audio and Clear Calls The open-ear speakers are fantastic. The Convenience of Built-in AI The integrated Meta AI is a fantastic addition. Being able to ask questions, translate signs, or get information instantly while keeping my hands free and my eyes up is a massive productivity boost. I think the biggest problem with these is that they are sunglasses. Getting to live stream watching my kid’s hockey game so my family can watch is awesome… but watching through sunglasses bugs me. With that said I really wish these weren’t limited to Instagram and Facebook. Messenger would be awesome to do video conferencing with or WhatsApp, where I’m not broadcasting to the world and my dad could feel like he is in person during holidays he has to miss every once in a while. So basically, I don’t like it that it doesn’t have more integration with more facebook products and seems to be aimed at social media versus more personal interactions; I also don’t like that they are just sunglasses, but that is quite fixable and I am currently doing that; and I don’t like the battery life, it’s better, but it still has a way to go on that front and four hours is optimistic. With all that out there… What a difference a generation makes. The glasses and the app. I like the old generation for what they were and as a Bluetooth headset they worked quite well, but these take it to the next level. First, mat black is so much better than shiny black. Second, the case with integrated charging is so much better. Everything is a little bit slimmer and just better designed. The fact that these have live streaming is just amazing. Don’t think that you’ll be sleuthing around taking videos of everyone with no one the wiser as there is an LED on the right side that turns on a varies in intensity so as to attract attention I assume. I like this feature as it adds a level of comfort to everyone around you who might get a little bit… hesitant... around cameras in glasses. Just having them out of the case and on your head drains the battery, with me doing nothing with them on a drive, they lost about 6% in an hour. Once I got to the hockey game and did some recording, they lost about 10% in as many minutes and one live stream even took them even further down, basically if you planning on live streaming plan on a dead battery in 30 min. I would also recommend not downloading photos until you are done or can put them in the case for a bit (which you can upload while they are in the case) Using them just as Bluetooth headsets and taking some pictures every once in a while is how I assume they get the 4 hours. However, I am closer to 2.5 hours in my use, but I did switch the default of one click to a 60 second video versus a picture. The speakers are so much clearer and the music sounds pretty good on them and everyone says I come across crystal clear, except if I put them on my head I almost completely disappear, I found this out when I walked inside while talking and naturally just rose them to the top of my head so I could see more clearly. So that is the main difference is the mics are much more attuned to being on your eyes and don’t work if the glasses are 5” higher. Also, if you haven’t worn for a bit, don’t expect to be able to just whip them out, if it’s been awhile they go into a pretty deep sleep and take 15 or 20 seconds to boot up and connect to your phone and realize they need to be awake. Overall, they look and feel like Rayban quality sunglasses with the added benefit of being able to capture video, camera and voice. And if I could wave my wand and ask for anything it would be the ability to use the live video on messenger or WhatsApp while being able to choose if the speakers could be heard by everyone or just me as well as the mic working for just me or for everyone… the ultimate experience of someone being there that can’t be there.

I recently had the pleasure of trying out the Ray-Ban Meta Smart Wayfarer Bluetooth Audio Glasses in Matte Black/Polarized Gradient Graphite, and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed. The matte black frame with polarized gradient graphite lenses with that classic Wayfarer design, which not only complements various face shapes but also adds a touch of timeless elegance. Ray-Ban has masterfully merged fashion and technology, creating a seamless blend effortlessly. These smart glasses come with built-in Bluetooth bone conduction speakers discreetly integrated into the frames. The audio quality is very impressive, delivering clear and crisp sound without compromising on comfort. I would have my friends try them on and then play a song and seeing their faces light up when they heard the song and the confusion of how they were hearing the music was hilarious. Whether I'm on a call, listening to my favorite music, podcasts, the audio experience is immersive, allowing me to enjoy my content without the hassle of wearing traditional headphones. I had to go shopping with my girlfriend during college football and just put the game on my phone and was listening to the commentary and she had no clue I was listening to the game. The touch-sensitive controls on the right frame are intuitive and responsive. Adjusting the volume, skipping tracks, or answering calls is as simple as a tap or a swipe, eliminating the need to fumble for my phone constantly. The hands-free convenience these glasses offer is a game-changer, especially when I'm multitasking or on the go. The Meta personal assistant needs some work in that it can’t integrate with some 3rd party apps on my phone such as asking it to open my music app it says it can't do that. The 12 Megapixel cameras are very impressive taking clear photos and videos. Just press the button on the right frame and you can capture the moment in an instant. Pressing and holding the button will start filming video for up to 1 minute. Was a little disappointed it only can videos for 1 minute but I guess that's meta just wanting the length to be that for Reels posts. You can also ask the Meta assistant to take a picture or start filming if your hands are full which is a great feature. The left frame has a privacy switch where you can turn the cameras off, if you want so you are not accidentally filming or taking pictures. The Meta View app is very user friendly and makes it easy with step-by step instructions to pair your sunglasses to your phone. In the app is where you manage your media and settings. All your photos and videos will be stored here and then you can transfer them to your phone's photo album or you can select what you want to post to all Meta’s social media apps. Battery life is surprisingly good with about 2 and half hrs and then you can just charge them in the case which has about 3 charges in it. The case is the charger for the sunglasses and you can charge it with a USB-C port. I was a little disappointed that they didn't include a USB-C cord with them. Overall, the Ray-Ban Meta Smart Wayfarer Bluetooth Audio Glasses have exceeded my expectations. Ray-Ban and Meta have successfully created a product that seamlessly combines style, comfort, and cutting-edge technology. I’ve shown these to a handful of my friends and two of them have gone out and bought a pair. So, If you're looking for a stylish and innovative tech accessory, I can not recommend these enough and give these smart glasses a try.

These Smart glasses attracted my attention when they were first announced. Ray-Ban Stories were the first generation and I liked those but used them mostly as just sun glasses. Now when Meta has partnered with Ray-Ban to make the second gen and announced all the new improvements they did to the product, I decided to give them another try and was able to get Ray-Ban Meta - Wayfarer (Standard) Smart with Bluetooth Audio. Here are my experiences with these glasses: First of all, they are comfortable, its design is trendy and they look exactly like any regular Ray-Bans in this category. They are not chunky and its weight is simply perfect, even though they house, two cameras, microphones, speakers and a processing unit, etc. Image and Video quality is excellent for a pair of sunglasses and I was very impressed how pictures turn out when transferred to my phone. The shutter button is conveniently located on top of the right arm, however thanks to the embedded AI Assistant, yes these Smart Glasses feature a full-fledged AI helper to answer your questions. So if you need to take a picture or a video, you simple say: "Hey Meta, take a picture" and just like that you are shooting a 12MP picture. This Smart Glasses are definitely great for the first person photo and video. Now, just make sure you do not wear a baseball hat like I did, a mistake you will see later in your pictures. Now, let's talk about the Audio quality. Speakers on these glasses rock! I mean, the sound is pure, crisp and sound like a good pair of headphones. What's amazing is there is nothing poking in your ears, the sound flows out of the glasses and surrounds you in a way. Also, unlike the first gen these smart glasses do not leak the sound everywhere so the people around you can hear everything. At 50% volume, you are enjoying your music, not your friends or family who are with you at the moment. I really like taking calls with these Smart Glasses, use them for biking and listening to my favorite playlists and podcasts. Now, since there is no display inside or on your lenses, I am still hoping for Google like glasses some day in the future, as a lot of your requests and conversations with the AI Meta Assistant will rely on the Audio feedback. I found the answers were right on and are very a matter of fact. You can choose a number of different voices to your liking. Of course the glasses rely on your phone's data or internet connection to answer your questions. Overall, I am very pleased and surprised by these glasses. They are definitely going to be used a lot and I look forward to new gen of AI Smart glasses next year!

These Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarers have been an awesome gift, and my husband has been getting so much use out of them, especially as a football coach. The 12 MP camera is a standout feature. He loves being able to capture short videos and photos hands-free during practices, whether it’s drills, moments with his team, or just highlights he wants to remember later. The open-ear speakers are another big win. He can listen to music, take calls, or get quick info without blocking out what’s happening around him, the audio is clear and works great even in busy, outdoor environments. The polarized gradient lenses are excellent for long hours outside. They reduce glare and provide great clarity, which is essential during sunny practices and games. Plus, the classic Wayfarer design looks sharp and doesn’t feel bulky or overly “techy.” As a coach who’s always on the move, he’s found them incredibly practical and fun to use. Definitely a fantastic gift and highly recommended for anyone who spends a lot of time outdoors and wants smart tech without sacrificing style. Is this conversation helpful so far?

I am loving my new Ray Ban Meta Wayfarer sunglasses! When you first get the sunglasses, you don't really know what to expect. But once you open the box you are immediately reminded that to own one of the coolest pieces of tech today. The glasses come in a classic Ray Ban tan case, but with a twist. The case is actually a charging case. It is only slightly bigger than a traditional Ray Ban case. It has a dot light indicator on front to tell you when it's on and when it's charging. Setting up the glasses are very easy with the meta view app. There were zero issues when pairing the glasses. The app then takes you through a brief tutorial. Then you are ready to rock your new shades! I immediately starting snapping photos and shooting videos of my wife and daughter in my living room. They wanted to be mad but couldn't because the idea was so cool. I then took them to work with a bunch of paranoid construction workers and started filming them during our morning and afternoon hang outs. They too were tickled by how cool the shades were, they didn't even care that i was filming them. The photo and video resolution is excellent. You cannot truly believe that it is filmed or shot on a pair of sunglasses. The media shows up on the app where you can extract to your phone. It is pretty simple and easy to use. It can also automatically download to your phone if you like. These sunglasses even have built in speakers and act like headphones. The sound quality is actuality very good. I currently own a different brand of Headphone sunglasses, and the Ray Bans blow them away. The buttons are very easy to locate, touch, and get the hang of. I had no issues controlling everything with ease. There is a bright light on the glasses that come on when you take a photo or video. This let's people know you are recording them. I like this feature because it maintains full disclosure on what you are doing. Battery life is decent, the more i played with them, the more i noticed how quickly the battery can deplete. Just make sure you have your case handy. Overall, i think that these sunglasses are worth every penny. They perform very well and are great conversation starters. If you love standing out and having the latest tech, these are for you.

I like Reviewing Everything I use and when the Ray Ban Stories first came out, I got them because I enjoy taking pictures as well as videos, and for the most part I post them for my family and friends to see. And now that the second generation came out I had to try them and they are superior to the first generation, they are amazing and much better than anything out there. First they come well packaged, they come with the charging case, glasses, cleaning cloth, instructions and a very useful application; they do not come with a cable or a charging adapter, on the other hand I have plenty of USB C cables so I do not need another one. The instructions for setup are very simple, download the app, charge the case and follow the instructions that walk you step by step on how to use them as well as get to know them. The application is very easy to use; they do connect my glasses to my phone, to Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp. I really like how easy it is to take pictures or videos, and best of all they look amazing. The pictures using the 12 megapixel camera takes photos of 4032 x 3024 px, and videos of 1920 x 1440 px @ 30Fps and finally the sound is amazing because when I play back the videos I can hear the amazing sounds from all over because the glasses have five microphones. And speaking of sound, as a triathlete and marathoner I can hear to music while I am aware of my surroundings while I am doing most activities and the music sounds great, much better than the previous version, it still does not compare to earbuds because they are not in my ears but I am really enjoying my glasses because these sunglasses not only do they have great sound, they offer a lot more. The glasses connect via Bluetooth 5.3 or Wi-Fi 2.4-5 Ghz. One thing to enjoy the most is the Meta AI, all I have to say is “Hey Meta” and I can either take a picture, video or ask anything I want like the weather or air quality. The glasses have a touch pad on the right, it is not visible but when I want to put the volume up/down, pause, play, play music from Spotify and more I can do it with a soft touch to the glasses, just awesome. Streaming, is easy, I can start live streaming with my phone, switch back and forth with the glasses it comes out fantastic. To take a picture there is a button that all I have to do is touch once and there is a picture, and the glasses have an led to let me know it took the picture, long press the button and it will take a minute of video while I can see it is recording it also lets others know I am recording because there is an LED light to show that I am doing so. Overall these glasses from Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer are amazing, not only do they look cool, elegant and fantastic, I can listen to music or anything I want to listen to while hiking, running, or just bring them with me to take pictures, videos or even live stream. I can also hear my messages and send them back by using Meta’s AI, also by using Meta’s assistant I have access to get information just using my voice.

can honestly say my Meta glasses have been a game changer. They blend in naturally like a normal pair of glasses, but with powerful features tucked inside. • Audio & Calls: The built-in speakers are crystal clear. Music, podcasts, and calls sound amazing, and the open-ear design lets me stay aware of what’s going on around me. Following the highly successful Ray-Ban Stories comes the Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer Smart Glasses. They are stylish eyewear that offer audio and visual features. My pair featured the polarized gradient lenses with the matte black finish. Within the eco-friendly and minimalistic packaging: • Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer Smart Glasses • Charging Case and Cleaning Cloth • Quick Setup Guide • Safety and Warranty Booklet The charge case requires a USB-C cable which is not included as the expectation is they are currently ubiquitous. Connecting to your new sunglasses is made possible via Bluetooth 5.3 and the Meta View app, previously Facebook View. A Meta account is required for the app. Once powered on and connected to the app, there’s a tutorial on the basic functions such as taking pictures, starting a video recording, pausing a track and adjusting the volume. There are three basic menus in the app: • Home: Provides tutorial videos and short feature summaries • Gallery: Displays all pictures and videos captured by the account user • Settings: Options for configuring LED notification brightness, shutter options (i.e. long press for video, short press for pictures and vice versa), language and voice, wear detection, updates etc. Quality and durability, synonymous with Ray-Ban’s history, are evident in the construction of the Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer Smart Glasses. The hinges are sturdy with no play. The left temple houses the camera while the right accommodates the capture LED to notify the public the camera’s in operation. A second notification LED for the user is located on the inside of the right rim. This LED has three options for brightness control. As the name implies, it provides status indications via different colors as needed. The right temple also features the touchpad, a speaker (with two openings), the shutter button and two microphones. The taps on the touchpad now offer an improved feedback that help confirm gestures. On the left temple is another speaker (with two openings), two microphones and a toggle power switch. The last of the five microphones is located close to the left nose pad. Charge port is tucked out of sight under the bridge. As previously stated, the Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer Smart Glasses feature a single ultra-wide 12 MP HD camera. It is capable of crisp resolutions of up to 3024 x 4032 pixels for stills and 1440 x 1920 pixels @ 30 Fps for videos. During the day and in well-lit environments, pictures are sharp and reproduce colors accurately. For video capture, there are three options for lengths, 15, 30 and 60 seconds. The Meta View app provides the ability to share content directly to Facebook (Live, Post or Story), Instagram (Live, Post or Story), Messenger or WhatsApp. Should you require to email, print or share via Bluetooth etc. the options also exist via the extended share menu. The five-microphone array setup ensures that conversations and content audio are delivered clearly. A novelty with these sunglasses is the ability to listen to audio or engage in conversation while still being aware of your ambient conditions. This is all made possible by the two speakers located on each temple. In operation, they are able to deliver crisp, clear low to midranges and even some bass. While this setup will never replace your in-ear options, it’s a technological feat how sound is directed specifically for the users for the utmost discretion. “Okay Meta” or “Hey Meta” wakes up the assistant (Meta AI) for handsfree operation. In my experience, I have been successful in getting the tasks below accomplished. This is by no means an exhaustive list: • Record video • Take pictures • Tell time and date • Provide temperature conditions and location • Initiate calls via phone or WhatsApp • Send text messages via phone The remarkable thing with this assistant is its continued evolution. Interaction is conversational and intuitive thanks to the AI. It asks the right questions to hone in on the desired action prior to execution. For calls and text messages, it appears to go by the default number assigned to the contact. As a WhatsApp contact can have multiple numbers without the traditional “default”, the assistant advised the presence of multiple numbers and suggested renaming them differently. I have no doubt about the addition of more features with updates. To further portray commitment to security and privacy, there is now a new “verified sessions” feature which seeks to prevent unauthorized calls or messages. When enabled, the user must complete an authentication on the connected smartphone when a call or message is attempted. Once verified, it remains in that state until the sunglasses are removed. Yes, there is wear detection aboard! The charge case has been redesigned to accommodate the location of the charging port on the sunglasses. While the new design is refreshing, I could not help but miss the constant charging status indicator on the previous iteration. The new case will show the charging status when the clasp is toggled. The LED design on the new case is definitely very refreshing. The four-hour battery life of the Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer Smart Glasses are also supplemented with eight additional charges via the case from a full charge according to Ray-Ban. This, of course, will vary on an individual basis and can be subject to a myriad of factors. Prior to the Ray-Ban Stories and now the Meta Wayfarer Smart Glasses, I did not realize the need for these devices that are able to fill this unique niche. I do not see how we will ever go without them, especially considering the ever-improving AI. The convenience of handsfree operation, for both audio and video functions, is worth every ounce in its weight! I highly recommend them.

I bought the Ray Ban Metas as a Christmas gift and my family member is so happy with them especially they came with the transition lenses. they are very easy to set up and all the features that come with the glasses help him with his barbering studies to record without needing his phone on hand. The no need of headphones are a plus because he loses his headphones alot and with this is like having a phone all together without having extra things on hand!

I wasn’t expecting to be this impressed — but the Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer glasses have completely changed how I capture and interact with the world. Stylish like classic Wayfarers but packed with futuristic tech, they’re hands-down the coolest piece of wearable gear I’ve used in years. The built-in Meta AI is surprisingly helpful — from checking the weather to answering quick questions while I’m on the move. Taking hands-free photos and videos with just a voice command or tap feels like sci-fi made real. The audio is crisp and surprisingly immersive, yet still lets me stay aware of my surroundings. Great for music, podcasts, or calls while walking, filming, or even editing BTS content for my creative projects. I also really appreciated how smooth the setup process was. The Meta View app makes syncing everything super intuitive. Best Buy’s in-store team gave me a quick overview, and I was fully up and running in minutes. Shoutout to their staff — professional and genuinely excited to talk about the product. These glasses have already elevated how I document moments in real-time — whether I’m capturing creative shots during video shoots or just going on a walk and narrating my thoughts. These Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer smart glasses are impressive and stylish. The shiny black frame with green lenses looks classic, while the built-in camera captures clear photos and videos hands-free. The sound quality for music and calls is surprisingly good, and Meta AI is helpful for quick questions on the go. Comfortable to wear and easy to use — a great mix of fashion and smart tech.

Love these glasses. I love the the style the frame is really cute. I sometimes listen to music on it and the sound is nice and clear. Used them on my trip to Japan for a video on the Mario karts and they came out great! Only downfall is that the battery does die after about 3 hours but otherwise great product

The Meta Ray-Ban smart glasses are surprisingly sleek and comfortable, looking just like regular sunglasses. The camera quality is great for capturing quick moments without needing your phone. Audio is clear for music and calls, but not super immersive. Voice commands work well most of the time, making hands-free tasks easier. Battery life lasts about a day with casual use, but drains faster with constant use. They feel more like a subtle tech accessory than a gimmick. If you’re into wearable tech, they’re a cool blend of style and functionality.

These glasses are not the most stylish but they are super fun and I love how seamless the transitions are. They go with everything even if they make me look a bit dorky! No issues with them so far that a quick reboot can’t fix. The speakers/music aspect is phenomenal, it’s honestly what sold me initially. Picture quality isn’t half bad either. Fit great on the face. Have a nice weight to them and feel very secure. Battery life is mehhh. Worth the money? Maybe not, but I still like them enough and I’ll use them enough down the road to justify blowing a bunch of money on these.

The Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarers are a wild mix of classic style and futuristic tech, and honestly, they’re kind of awesome—but not perfect. They look just like regular Wayfarers (so no awkward “tech gadget” vibes), but they pack in open-ear speakers, dual 12MP cameras, and smooth Meta integration for things like live-streaming or snapping quick pics. The audio is shockingly clear for open-ear, and the photo quality is solid (unless it’s dark—then, not so much). They’re a bit heavier than normal glasses, and the 4-6 hour battery life isn’t ideal if you’re out all day. Oh, and privacy? A little iffy since the camera’s so low-key, even with the LED indicator. Still, if you want wearable tech that doesn’t scream “I’m a cyborg,” these are seriously worth checking out (just be ready to charge them often).

I’ve been using the Meta glasses for a bit now, and I’m really impressed. The design feels like a regular pair of stylish Ray-Bans, but with the added bonus of built-in tech. The audio is surprisingly clear and works well for calls and music without blocking outside sound. The camera is sharp and makes it super easy to capture quick photos and videos hands-free. Battery life is decent for everyday use, and the charging case is handy. The AI features are a nice touch and keep getting better with updates. They’re perfect for people who want a mix of style and functionality without wearing something bulky or “tech-looking.” Overall, a great step forward, comfortable, sleek, and practical for daily life.

video works great on these even when riding bumpy mountain bike trails.. image stabilization works very well.. sound quality is great when listening to music, phone calls, and ai responses,.. microphone noise cancelling is awesome. Only complaint is about the battery,.. it charges fast when you use the case but if you are going to use it for video and photos a lot you will have to recharge the glasses a few times a day. But if just using for headphone replacement and ai functions you can get through half of the day or more on one charge in my experience. Also live video streaming for Instagram and WhatsApp is very cool to use especially if you need to show people how to do something and you need both hands free. Once you have a pair of these you'll have a hard time living withoiut them.

Smart Glasses with Great Features, Size Concerns

I recently got my hands on the Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer glasses, and after giving them a thorough test, I wanted to share my thoughts. First off, let's talk about the fit. While the classic Wayfarer style is undoubtedly iconic, I found that they run a bit small for my face. It would be fantastic if Ray-Ban offered the option of three different sizes to accommodate a broader range of face shapes. For anyone who finds standard-sized frames a bit snug, this could be a make-or-break factor. On the performance front, the Meta features are truly impeccable. The integration of smart technology is seamless and really enhances the overall experience. Whether it’s the audio quality during calls or the immersive listening experience for music, Ray-Ban nailed it. If you're looking for glasses that double as smart tech, these will not disappoint. However, I will say that the setup process was a bit of a pain. It took me a good amount of time to get everything configured just right. For a tech-savvy user, it may not be a huge hassle, but for someone less familiar with smart devices, it could feel daunting. Battery life is decent—while it’s not groundbreaking, it does the job. I found that I could go through an average day without needing to worry about recharging, which is always a plus. In terms of value, the price is really good for what you're getting. Considering the blend of traditional eyewear with cutting-edge technology, you certainly feel like you're getting your money's worth. Plus, the build quality feels robust, suggesting these glasses are durable enough to withstand everyday wear and tear. In summary, the Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer glasses are an impressive fusion of style and technology, although the fit may not be for everyone without additional size options. If you can get past the setup and appreciate the innovative features, you’ll find a solid pair of smart glasses at a great price. Just keep in mind the sizing – if you have a larger face, you might want to try them on first.
