I was worried they might feel bulky, but they look and feel just like the classic Wayfarers I love. The Matte Black finish is sleek, and the Polarized Graphite lenses provide incredible clarity while driving or at the beach. The Standout Features: Camera Quality: The photo and video quality are surprisingly sharp. It’s so much easier to capture "POV" moments with my kids or on hikes without having to pull out my phone. Audio: The open-ear speakers are a game changer. I can listen to my podcasts or take calls while still being aware of my surroundings. The sound is crisp, and the person on the other end can hear me perfectly. Meta AI: Having the AI assistant built-in is very convenient for quick questions or hands-free control. Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The "big sale" feature of smart glasses to the average consumer is the ability to communicate with AI and receive answers or to use as a tool to enhance social media. However, neither of those were moving the needle with me. But when I learned they gave you the ability to capture photos hands-free, I started paying attention. I love taking pictures with my phone, but when it is hidden in my pocket and a rare shot materializes, the ability to quickly snap a photo of what you are looking at can be the difference of capturing the image or not. Another big deal for me as an more mature consumer (less caustic way of saying old), is the conversation focus feature. This feature lets you turn the glasses into a pseudo-hearing aid by amplifying the sound of the person you are looking at. For noisy environments, this can be a game changer. You have to join the Early Access program to get the Conversation Focus, but it is highly worth that for my use. I do enjoy being able to have a phone conversation without having to pull out my phone and have found that the conversations have been very natural sounding. Hearing a text message is also a time saver. Listening to music was also a little bit of a surprise. I couldn't believe how good the speakers sounded. Anyway, I would encourage you to give the Wayfarer Gen 2 glasses a try.

He truly enjoys that he can wear them all day inside and out as the transitional is a perfect shade. He loves to record and take pictures with them and overall enjoys the fact that he can ask Meta anything. Sounds like I need to get me a pair as well!
