I tired both the transition and tinted version. For the transition lense, you can use it indoors to record video but while driving, which is primarily meant be used, doesn't dark enough unless your're under direct sunlight. For the tinted one, it's fine outdoors but that's all the util you get out of and you barely use recording and other features, which only serves as sunglasses. One more thing on importing media: you need to connect to the glasses wifi everytime to import media. No seamless intregration with iphone photos even though it advertises "made for iPhone" on the box.
