Love the glasses, but will they last?

I love being able to hear what is going on around me and still be able to hear the audio from the glasses. The downfall is I have seen two family members glasses stop working after a few months for no reason. No accident, no damange, just stopped working. It's pretty concerning for something fairly expensive.

Last night he actually used them to have Meta teach him some Algebra that he was not understanding. I also convinced him to get the transition lenses and he was outside shoveling snow earlier in the week and came into the house all excited saying that they really work!
