For the Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 2), the glasses can last up to 8 hours once they're fully charged. Please be mindful that this depends on various factors. However, this is common with moderate usage of the glasses.
With regards to the recording light, this cannot be turned off as it is a privacy feature as it allows other people to see when the glasses are recording.
