It is awesome to hear everything is going well with your new Ray-Ban Meta glasses! Battery life is key, and we are constantly working on firmware updates via the Meta AI App to help improve efficiency.

You can also save power by closing the app when it is not in use, turning off the "Hey Meta" wake word if you prefer manual activation, and storing your glasses in their charging case between sessions.

We want every aspect of our smart glasses to perform beautifully for you, from the lens performance to the app functionality.

We see that your main concerns involve the transition lenses not getting dark enough for full sun protection, and the Meta View app importing your media into your phone gallery in a completely random order. We also note your feedback regarding the microphone being blocked and the capture button being unreachable while wearing your motorcycle helmet, along with the request to control recording directly from the app.

To help optimize your experience right now, here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

- For the Media Order: Open the Meta View app and ensure that the app has permissions to access your phone system storage fully. Try clearing the app cache or toggling the automatic background sync setting off and back on to refresh the chronological sorting during imports.

- For the Lenses: Transition lenses require direct exposure to UV rays in order to darken. The level of darkness they achieve depends on the intensity of the sunlight. However, it's important to note that these lenses generally do not darken inside a car, as most modern windshields are designed to block the majority of UV rays.

- For Updates: Check the app store to ensure you have the absolute latest version of the Meta View app installed, as we frequently release software updates that refine file management, app settings, and voice recognition capabilities.
