Customers express satisfaction with the GO UV+ Ultra-Portable Handheld Allergen Vacuum's powerful suction, ease of use, and lightweight design, finding it effective for quick cleanups. However, some users find the dustbin capacity limited and the UV light feature less effective than expected, particularly on uneven surfaces. The battery life, while sufficient for short cleaning tasks, is a point of discussion among users.

As a handheld vacuum, this does its job very well: bits of dust and detritus are removed with ease. Although I haven't done a full power drain test, the battery appears to last a relatively good while between charges with moderate use.
What's really noteworthy about this vacuum is an inclusion of UV light for an extra bit of clean. I can't objectively determine its effectiveness, but the bulb appears stronger than some of those handheld UV sanitizers one sees in the market these days.
The unit also comes in a number of pieces that attach together. This allows the vacuum to be disassembled and stored away. Here I'm actually quite happy with its presentation. The vacuum's case is a winner and shows RAYCOP took some time and attention to this small, and very useful detail.
The end attachment (that houses the UV light) may seem like it provides a wider suction area, but the design of the opening (with the UV light bulb stretching across the middle) seems to hinder the suction a bit. The vacuum function performs much better without the end attachment - and the instructions state this configuration can be used for more focused vacuuming tasks. My only gripe with this is that I would have liked to have had a second end-attachment with a more narrow/focused nozzle for tighter spaces.

Having received this item in return for a fair an honest review, I will try to put down my first impressions and a final use review.
First, I like things that fit into other things (a bit OCD). The packaging for the GO UV+ does just this, and everything has its place within the storage area which can be used when taking on a trip/vacation. Kudos to Raycop for that.
Continuing the last thought, the parts are easily identifiable and I didn't need to utilize the instructions to put it together. Kudos again to Raycop.
The product itself provides a respectable amount of suction. I used it to vacuum my keyboard, and desk. It picked up crumbs, dust, and other debris with no problems. And the debris is easily removed without having to touch anything yucky.
Now, if this were "just" a dust-buster, this would get an automatic five stars. What I have an issue with is the UV sanitizing function.
The sanitizing UV light will only turn on if the GO UV+ determines that it is a suitable surface. It would not turn on for my keyboard (which probably would have benefited the most). It also wouldn't turn on for portions of my glass-top desk. To me this is a handicap for the device. Instead of having the device decide, it would have been beneficial for the item to have a second button to have the UV lamp turn on and off. As it stands, it is one button operation. first click is to "arm" the UV light, second is to arm the UV light and provide mild suctions, and the third click is to arm the UV light and provide a higher level of suction.
Raycop claims that this item can kill viruses and bacteria. However, there is no clear verbiage in regards to how long the light should be placed over a surface to achieve this. I would suggest several slow "sweeps" over the same area to give the best chances for disinfection.
If taken at face value, and the item does kill these micro-organisms with moderate (4-7 second sweeps over a single spot) then it is worth it. The issue at hand, is the consumer has no way of knowing if disinfection has occurred or not. And again, the consumer has no way of turning on the UV light for items the product refuses to (like my keyboard).
I see value in taking this on business trips (or vacations). My only concern is that since this outputs UV light, and has a largish battery, if it could be taken inside carry-on luggage. I guess this would be a good question for the TSA? But, if allowed, the device - again fitting in its provided storage case could feasibly fit into such luggage.
On such a trip, I would definitely use it on hotel pillows, and bedding. Just for, well, reasons.
If it does what it says on the box. Then it would garner a 5 star review. But since there's no way to tell, I would at the least caution a potential buyer on that point.
This review is full of "ifs". And it is for that reason it gets 3 stars. And again I *would* recommend this to a friend with the above caveats.

Light Portable Cordless Vacuum

I own a few vacuums, a robot vacuum for each floor, and a stick vacuum for areas that the robot can't get into. When I notice some crumbs or dirt brought in from outside, I really don't want to have the robot running around for thirty minutes and I don't want to have to drag the stick vacuum out of the closet to pick up a little dirt. I do have an old handheld vacuum with about 20 feet of cord that I bought years ago but it's always a pain to untangle the cord. I thought about a handheld battery-operated vacuum and I came across this Raycop Go. It is certainly light enough to grab up and use for little stuff that hit the floor. The fact that it has an ultraviolet light to kill bacteria and viruses makes it even more useful.
I plan to go on vacation this summer but who knows how well a hotel or motel room was disinfected and you never know who sat on a chair the night before. This was giving me a reason to maybe not go on vacation until next year but I have to go away! I didn't go anywhere last year and I really need to get away so with this vacuum I don't feel I'll have to worry as much. The Raycop Go separates into multiple pieces that snap together quickly. When the pieces are apart, they fit nicely into the hard plastic case it came in making it easy to pack into my luggage and not get dirt on my clothing.
The vacuum is pretty powerful and was very easy to use to clean my staircase a thing that a robot vacuum can't do and is fairly difficult to use a stick vacuum going from step to step. One nice thing is the HEPA filter, metal filter, and dustbin are easy to clean just by soaking the parts in water and letting them dry. There are different settings for using the UV light only, a standard mode and a power mode if you need the extra cleaning power. There are additional tools and accessories available on their website should you need them.
The one thing I feel the Raycop Go is missing that I took one star away for is there is no charging dock or hook to hang the vacuum up while charging. It comes with a charging brick with an attached wire that just looks so last century since almost every other device I own comes with a USB-C cable and charging adapter, making it one more thing I have to remember not to leave in a hotel room.
If you need a small portable vacuum, I think you should really consider the Raycop Go.

Excellent anti-allergen portable vacuum

First impression:
My first impression of the Raycop Go UV portable allergen vacuum cleaner is that it is a solid unit that is very well made. The packaging is probably the best I have seen. It comes in a hard plastic case with side locks and a plastic-formed interior to hold everything. This case is not only made to get the vacuum to you but as safe storage when not in use. The vacuum is also made of hard plastic and feels solid. The pieces fit together firmly and when put together, the vacuum feels like a solid one-piece unit. The wall-wart power supply is also well made, and the power cord is a good size with solid connections. The power supply connector plugs into the vacuum handle firmly with no play in the connection.
Performance:
For the first charge, it took almost 2 hours. It had some charge in it. On the first test, it lasted just over 30 minutes after charging. My first test was on the carpets in my truck and my wife’s car. The vacuum was easy to move around in my wife’s car. In my truck, the back seat was more difficult because of the length of the handle. In both vehicles, it did a great job of picking up sand and small items like pebbles. Things embedding in the carpet required me to pick it out before the vacuum would pick it up. I am not surprised by this because the vacuum flow is not real strong. That is not a complaint, because this vacuum was never intended to pick debris like a shop vacuum, its purpose is for helping with allergens. With the lower flow rate, this vacuum did a lot better than I thought it would.
The second charge took right at 3 hours, right in line with the spec. The second test was for crumbs on a carpet and small crumbs in the kitchen on a tile floor. The vacuum did a great job picking up crumbs on both the carpet and the tile floor. In the bathroom, I used it and it easily picked up hair in the sink after shaving. Finally, I vacuumed our bed and the bedsheets. I’m happy to say that I didn’t have crumbs in the bed, but my wife suffers from allergies and I wanted to get the UV light on the sheets. There is no way for me to tell if the UV is working or not, but with the very high quality of the build and the performance of the vacuuming, I believe it is working.
Conclusion:
This is a very good vacuum made with high-quality parts that is made for a very specific purpose; providing a vacuum with a UV light to help with allergies. For this purpose, this vacuum did very well. And when putting it through tougher tests, it still did much better than I thought it would. If you suffer from allergies and want a good vacuum you can use on the couch, seats, and in the bed, that will vacuum up allergens without sucking the sheets off the bed, with the added benefit of UV light, then I highly recommend this vacuum.

"Killer" product, this cordless vac is sensational

You may own a top notch take anywhere cordless vac, but that simply means you almost certainly need this RAYCOP UV + Ultra-portable handheld vacuum. The design: I want to start with the impressive travel case that is about 14 "L by 9"W by 3" D. and weigh approximately 2 pounds. The 5 components fit securely in the case for easy transport. The vac components easily telescope together in seconds such that the result is a handheld ultra portable vac approximately 2' long. The ergonomic design makes it comfortable to use for low areas, e.g., floor, or high places (even stairs). As a vacuum, the deign is such that all ultra fine particulate matter stays in the HEPA filter, and is not recirculated into the area where the vac is being used. When I say fine matter, the manufacturer says it captures particles it as small as .3 microns (that means bacteria, influenza virus, dust mites invisible to the naked eye, pollen). The vac bin and filter s may be washed, dried, refused numerous times. ,; you get the idea. The vac has two run speeds, normal and high power. Note: the vac is designed to be easily emptied with the push of a release button that opens the bin door so that dirt and debris fall into your trash receptacle. This cordless vac reliably runs on a lithium battery for about a half hour; whereupon, the battery may be charged in about 1 1/2 hours.
The question is why is this vac a "KILLER"?
It contains an Ultraviolet C light (UV-C) built into the Vac head. UV-C kills bacteria and virus and dust mites (that live in our pillows and mattresses, etc.) in about 5 SECONDS! Spend a few minutes vacuuming your bed with sheets on, and off to kill the dust mites, remove any allergens. This is fine, but this vac does far more. Do a once over of your apparel, your keys, your smart phone, your Face Mask. The UV-C sanitizes all! In seconds you can sanitize a seat on board a plane and fold up the vac, put it in it's case, slip it in an overhead compartment or beneath a seat. I watched a CDC director explain how sunlight kills Covid 19 in minutes because of the sun's UV-C rays. This vac is a portable sanitizer thanks to it's UV-C vacuum head. Note: The vac may be used with or without the UV-C being on. IMHO, this KILLER Vac is sensational. It is a superb vac and it's sanitizing ability will help prevent illness, and the spread of infectious disease. In light of all it does, this vac is a superb buy :-)

Not something I could recommend

I got the Raycop GO UV+ Ultra Light Cordless Vacuum to sanitize surfaces in motel rooms, etc. when traveling. After using it, I don’t think it’s going to be practical.
It comes disassembled in a case for easy transportation and reassembly. It is cordless, and charging the battery takes about 3 hours. It will run for approximately 30 minutes on a full charge. It has 3 modes - UV only and two suction modes (regular and power). The UV head can be detached and the remaining pieces used as a stand alone portable vacuum.
That sounded acceptable. However, the dust bin is tiny. It’s large enough if only used to vacuum up allergens from upholstery, but not big enough to use as a stand alone vacuum. The dust bin is difficult to open (for me).
UV light is not a magic wand that kills bacteria and viruses by waving it over a surface. UV works by denaturing RNA/DNA and has to be in contact with the virus or bacteria for about 10 seconds while it absorbs the UV rays. The UV head of the vacuum is 12 square inches. A bed surface is approximately 5500 square inches. It would take over an hour to touch each surface of a bed for 10 seconds. The charge lasts for 30 minutes and recharging takes 3 hours. Disinfecting a bed surface would take over 4 hours start to finish. And UV only works in the direct light path so it would be essential to touch every square inch of the surface. Even though the description of the vacuum is “ultra light”, I found it to be heavy when used for several minutes. UVing a bed or a chair would be very tiresome.
Because of the above, I can’t recommend it as either a vacuum cleaner or as a UV disinfecting agent.

Great Portable UV Allergen Vacuum for Personal Use

With travel for business and pleasure starting to return, I still have a little anxiety about the cleanliness of hotels, rental cars, etc. So have been looking at portable UV light options and that's where the RayCop Go UV+ fits in.
This is a portable travel UV lamp. It actually comes in a hard plastic re-usable travel box. It's a relatively large box at 13.5" x 9.5" x 3.5" but reasonable for the size of the unit. It fits in an overnight bag but does take up a little room. Since the RayCop UV+ has a rechargeable battery, on planes, it has to be carried on. The RayCop UV is easy to assemble and disassemble. I feel like a CSI clean-up crew when I put it together!
What I like is that the RayCop Go has 3 modes. There's a straight UV wand/lamp mode. This is great for disinfecting pillows, mattresses, etc. The vacuum mode has 2 suction settings - standard and high. You get about 30minutes of use out of the vacuum on normal mode (9 minutes on power mode). This is enough to sanitize a large mattress, chairs, etc. The vacuum chamber has a HEPA filter. You can also wash (faucet) the vacuum chamber to make sure it's clean. Raycop recommends you wash the chamber monthly (just make sure you disassemble it first and don't submerge the battery, lamp, etc). Recharge time is 3 hours and it uses a proprietary plug (not USB).
So far, I am impressed and until life is fully back to normal, will take it with me when I travel. I think the combination of UV lamp and UV lamp makes sense in these times. If you have allergies, then this feels like the smartest travel investment ever.
The only negative, which may be unfair, is it is a little bigger than expected for a portable unit but it IS a vacuum cleaner and UV lamp. So it's a fair trade-off. It also would have been nice if it charged by USB C as I live in constant fear I will lose chargers. This also makes me want to stress this is for personal use, the quick sanitize you would do when you arrive at a hotel, etc. If you wanted something for heavy-duty everyday use, like a business or AirBNB look at RayCop's other products.
IMPORTANT TIP: The UV lamp has a little silver ball that rolls around in the UV lamp. This is normal and part of the function of the product. I missed seeing this in the user guide on my first read (very last page in UV lamp replacement) but support was friendly and pointed it out. Hope this helps someone else.

INITIAL SET-UP
The Raycop comes neatly and securely packed in a hard plastic travel case. Each of the 5 pieces fit snugly in their pre-molded slots and are securely held in place by a lid that snaps locked on opposite ends. Assembly could not be better thought out. Under each of the vacuum’s parts is a number. You literally connect pieces 1 – 5. Simple and easy.
Initial charge of the lithium-ion battery can take up to 3 hours from a full discharge. The batteries are built into the vac’s handle and the power button glows amber when charging. Once fully charged, the power button turns to a green glow indicating the unit is ready for use.
USE
The vac has 3 operating modes. Mode 1 is UV light only. Mode 2 is the UV light with low power suction. Mode 3 is the UV light and higher-powered suction.
According to the Raycop website, the vac will eliminate 99.99% of bacteria and viruses, 99.3% of dust mites, and 99.7% of airborne allergens. Those specs are quite impressive.
Once powered up the Raycop functions like a germ-killing dust buster. The head pivots to help maintain constant contact with the surface to be cleaned and you use it just like you would any handheld vac, except this one sanitizes while in use.
The filters are easily accessible during assembly or disassembly for cleaning. Note that the dust bin is quite small, so the total amount of material that can be swept up is minimal compared to other handheld vacuums. Not that this is a negative, but if you are expecting a dust collector the size of a Dyson, you will be sorely disappointed, as this is only about 1/10th the capacity.
CONCLUSIONS
I usually expand further upon an item’s unique attributes and shortcomings, but with this review, I am going to skip right to the conclusion.
I sincerely do not get the point and purpose of this product. This feels like a product that was brought to market to capitalize on us germophobes’ paranoia with Covid and cleanliness.
The UV light may be “hospital grade”, but I did not see any information on how much time the light needs to be directed at a surface to kill viruses and bacteria. In addition to this lack of helpful information, the vacuum portion of this unit is weak, at best. I referenced this to a dust buster earlier in this review & it honestly feels as cheap as those 1980’s masterpieces. The suction power is about as poor as those were too, back in the day.
Lastly, is the overall size of the item itself. Raycop did a great job in designing the unit for easy assembly and disassembly. It really could not be much easier. However, there is only so much you break the unit down. Add to that, a hard plastic case to protect the unit during travel and you no longer have an “ultra-portable” product. Far from it. It is too big and would be too cumbersome to carry on a plane, as Raycop likes to brag you can do. It is also too big to pack in luggage. So big, in fact, that if I were to pack this while travelling, I would have to go from a carry on to checked baggage. That is how much room in a smaller suitcase this would take up. Who wants to check luggage if they do not have to?
At the end of the day there is not much more this product can do, aside from sweeping hotel bed sheets or couch, that you can not do with a small, travel-sized package of Clorox or Purell wipes will not do just as good. Plus, a package of travel wipes take up 1/100th the space requirement and are less than 1/100th the cost. I can buy a bunch of 99 cent travel wipes that do 99% of what this product can do, without the inherent burdens or hassles. I recommend looking for a better solution.

This is a great UV allergen vacuum for small spaces. I mostly use it on my sofa to remove dog hair and disinfect it. It is great for disinfecting small items, like doorknobs and such. I use it in my car. Cons: it has a very small cup for collecting dust and dirt.
