    Amazing Headset

I really love this headset. I’ve used only wired headsets up until I purchased the Razer Blackshark. The headset is extremely comfortable, it doesn’t bother me after using it for multiple hours straight. The THX surround sound feature is interesting as well, although you will need to turn up the volume when using this mode because it’s slightly quieter than the normal function, which is not a problem, but it is worth mentioning. The microphone is solid as well and is detachable. Overall the sound quality and the microphone quality are excellent, this is definitely a premium headset and the build quality as well as the comfort back this claim.

These headsets are amazing not only they are super light. They are super clear and the microphone is amazing. They work perfectly on my computer for music, gaming, and chatting. There also amazing on xbox using the cable on the remote controller. Outside of that these unit are highly recommended to anyone needing a new pair of headphones. I would say that sometimes razer software don't see the headset on the software but it could be I need to reinstall it. The way to make it show easy unplug and replug the USB dongle. Not enough to deduct a start since it could be an issue on my pc software and not the unit. It dose not affect the unit from working properly either.

I bought this for my xbox knowing that it would not work wirelessly. I have been using is wired without the features and it is a very good headset. Extremely comfortable I don't even notice I am wearing it and the audio quality is great.

Feels great to be wireless. I always thought it didnt make much of a difference being connected via wire since I was sitting at my computer anyways.. however, being wireless makes a world of difference. No more accidentally unplugging my headphones when I turn in my chair. No longer do I struggle with such minor problems which were a big inconvenience. These headphones are very comfortable and I can wear them for hours with no problem. The battery life is very good however I haven't taken an accurate measurement of how long they last. I am able to use them for about a week with several hours of use per day.

After alot of researching headsets this one won and did not disappoint. The sound quality is amazing. You can change just about any setting you want in the mixer. With the detachable mic it makes it easy to use it for streaming with another mic set up. The battery life exceeded what was listed by 4 hours!!! Straight out of the box the setup was a breeze. Definitely recommend this headset for PC. I haven't tried it on my one x or PS yet.

Great Headphones - Not an A50 replacement

For this review, I am speaking more on the Bluetooth side than wired side. Normally I would give this a 4 star review but with all the hype that was given to these headphones I’m taking away another star I will start with this. I love Razer, I have my main gaming setup as a Quartz setup (mice, keyboard, mousepad, headphones) along with Nommo Chroma speakers. I am fully committed to them because I know they make amazing products and back them up. My overall impression of these headphones that fundamentally they are great for the price. Before buying these I saw that many people had compared them to being better than the a50s from Astros for the price. I would say for the price sure but better than the A50s not go that far. The main reason I got these headphones was to replace my current set of a50s because the base station die and the base station is out of stock or a few weeks out and I needed headphones for my job ASAP. Overall these are a great alternative to Astro a50s but can not compare from a software and custom configuration for wireless headphones. Additionally the comfort level is close but Astro still comes out on top. Below is all my rankings in terms of reasons to buy Razer BlackShark v2 VS Astro A50s Comfort: BlackShark v2 (8/10) - a50s(10/10) Sound: BlackShark v2 (9/10) - a50s (9.7/10) Mic sound: BlackShark v2 (10/10) - a50s (10/10) Portability: BlackShark v2 (10/10) - a50s (8.5/10) Build Quality: BlackShark v2 (8.5/10) - a50s (9.5/10)

I do wish this headset had a separate chat/game mix, but that is because of the headset I previously used for 5 years had that feature. Apparently it is not that common of a thing as most of the headsets I looked at don't have it. The headset is extremely comfortable, THX audio is amazing, the mic is a little big and can get in the way sometimes but other than these small complaints I like it a lot. Razer synapse is needed to tweak it but it is easy to do. Good pickup for the price.

Works right out of the box with out any apps on PC. Though you do need the razer app to enable the THX surround sound. The headset is really light weight but not in a way that feels cheep or fragile. It's good! But I did get it on sale for $99. So if you can wait for another sale, you can get this headset that I think is worth 199 for half price.

    GREAT FOR PS5 AND SWITCH

Works great wirelessly with both PS5 and Nintendo Switch. There was a surprising lack of anyone speaking if it works with Nintendo Switch especially but yes - just plug the USB dongle into the dock and you’re good to go. Sound quality is pretty good and feels mostly balanced without being too muddy or crispy. My only complaint is I wish it had a tad bit more volume. It gets pretty loud on PS5; but is strangely a tad bit quieter on Switch. Not sure why as I did not have max volume capping active. Highly recommended from my day 1 impressions.

I bought the Corsair Virtuoso PC Headset I like it had a nice premium feel BUT I returned those for this Headset and I am satisfied! Comfort wise I prefer Blackshark doesn't clamp hard as the Virtuoso and it feels really light, Sound amazing, EQ it's okay gotta fiddle with the app but other than that out of the box they sound amazing, Mic sounds good prefer the Virtuoso. Overall I recommend Blackshark V2 Pro comfort wise, Looks wise don't let these guys fool you trust me

Really comfortable headset. Battery life and connection is good, but I would recommend using a high speed USB port otherwise there is a slight delay. I would also recommend turning off the headset when done with each use. I thought it automatically turned off but sometimes it ends up searching for a connection even when the pc is turned off.

Amazing value and amazing headset. If these had traditional Bluetooth capability (instead of the usb stick) I would give them 6 stars. Super comfortable, lightweight, good quality audio, nice mic, and great for long gaming sessions. Wish I could use them on my Mac (no usb drive & don’t want to use a dongle) for non gaming wear, but oh well.

There are sales all the time for this model and I highly recommend! This model has a great mix, I cannot stress that enough. Plus I like the ear cuffs are similar to memory foam and not pleather. So you can wear them for long periods of time.

I tried the wired version of these at first (kind of an accident) but after using a wireless headset for a couple of years I just couldn't go back to wired... Plus the wireless has some added features. I do wish that the THX wasn't just limited to my headset though. I purchased the Klipsch pro media 2.1 computer speakers (THX certified) and thought that I would get the benefit of having THX since I purchased this headset that comes with it, but apparently it's only for the headset... I would still have to purchase it to use with speakers. It's very comfortable, great sound, great MIC, THX works great on supported games.
