Customers are saying

Customers consistently note the BlackShark V2 Pro's exceptional sound quality and comfortable design. Many also praise its long battery life and lightweight feel, making it enjoyable for extended gaming sessions. However, some users mention the price point as a potential drawback, and a few express concerns about the wireless range and software experience. While some aspects require improvement, the positive feedback on audio and comfort is prominent.

This is a great headset if you can get the THX spatial audio to work properly with the Razer software and your pc. Headset is very lightweight and the mic sounds amazing. Very simple design. Exchanged it for a virtuoso se.

So I must confess something. My original setup was a Razer Siren and a pair of Audio Techinca ATH-M50x. The Siren was my mic and the M50's being wired headphones. This headset, does not match the quality of the Siren microphone or the Audio Quality (wireless) of the ATH-M50x. Now, we aren't exactly comparing apples-to-apples. The Siren is a big mic on a boom and the ATH-M50's are wired. I should mention that your audio quality with these will in fact be better, if you hardwire a 3.5mm jack to them. I have yet to listen to them that way, but I suspect they would be phenomenal. So if I had these other items, why would I go to this? Convenience. I hated having to have wired headphones and the big mic boom would not work with this new, much nicer desk I was buying. I will say, these are the most comfortable pair of headphones I have owned. Mic quality is good. Better than most video game mics but not exactly "narrating YouTube videos" good (for that you will want a Siren or a Yeti mic). The Razer Synapse software has impressive audio/mic controls that are actually worth turning on and messing with. The "surround sound" in Overwatch works very well. I've been able to hook a sneak McCree trying to deadeye behind us just by noticing the footsteps were coming behind us. Overall, as much as this seems like it was a downgrade, it was an upgrade for what and how I plan on using them and can recommend these.

Yeah razer headphones are known not to be god but this one is REALLY good. I have set it up on my laptop and tuned the sound quality and it sounds so much better out the box, but you need the razer app to do that and only on wireless on PC you can tune it. I havent tested it on aystation or Xbox but i believe it will still sound good.

These headphones are amazing. I can barely hear anything outside my immediate area when I have them on. I was honestly so surprised. These headphones are so good that I get scared when someone comes up behind me. Lol. I can never hear them coming! While playing in game I feel like I'm there. I appreciate these headphones so much.

My teenage son had the Astro A50 and the plastic headband was digging into his head because the flimsy foam piece fell apart. He only had them for a year. We bought the Blackshark v2 based on tech reviews and he loves them! Surround sound is amazing for VR play, and the mic is better quality than his previous set and the headband is soft wand leather wrapped. Great value for the money!!!
