Worth the splurge for a quality wireless headset

I did my research and decided to splurge on the headset. I am super glad I did! These are amazing. Games, movies, virtual meetings, and Discord voice are all super clear in my ears and the microphone picks up my voice and not any ambient sound. Such a great investment. Would I recommend these, definitely!

Love the sound, mic is the best out of all the ones in this price range that I have tried. Only slight draw back is not having USB-C charging but the micro USB it comes with is stronger than most. No connection issues yet, 5-6 months of regular use.

Sound is quite nice (I’m no audiophile). Headset doesn’t feel too sturdy for its price range, but that’s of no bother. Thx spatial sound is pretty cool. The razer app is easy to use and includes a lot of features to further adjust the sound of the headset.

Got this headset for an amazing discount and so far, it’s been great! I mainly play FPS games, and the sound quality on these are nothing short of top tier! Anyone looking for a reliable headset that isn’t crazy expensive, this is definitely the perfect find!

Bought these as a replacement for an older pair of Astro A50's. The sound quality is pretty good, and I was impressed right out of the box. The problem came with the microphone. Everyone I spoke with said I sounded significantly worse than I did on my Astro A50 microphone. They described the sound as if I were talking through a tin can. I tried just about every fix I could find online, adjusting the sound profile through software, ensuring the microphone was seated properly, etc. I ended up returning this headset shortly after purchase.

Bought this for ps4. No real reveiws of how to set it up properly on ps4 but it is doable and you dont need to use the cable that plugs into the controller. Set it up on your pc 1st. Great sound quality better than the TB stealth 700 gen1.

Note: This review is based on using this with Razer's other wireless devices. If you only plan to buy this, it works pretty well on it's own. Razer's new trifecta of wireless gaming components (DeathAdder v2 Pro, Blackwidow v3 Pro, Blackshark v2 Pro) look awesome and hold a lot of promise, but they have some fatal flaws right now. These require Razer Synapse v3 to work, which is fine, but Synapse (or the device drivers) is super buggy. You have to download several updates, rebooting after each, just to get it to recognize these new devices. Once it does recognize them, it had a tendency to lose track of them, requiring you to unplug the device's dongle and plug it back in. In my experience this happens with the mouse and keyboard every time I turn on the computer, while it's only happened once with the headset. It will also often happen if the devices resume from low power mode. The truly fatal flaw, in my opinion, is that Razer requires you to use a separate 2.4Ghz dongle for *each* device, which just means they're all going to interfere with each other like crazy. This is especially evident with the mouse, where the interference causes terrible latency. You can run usb extension cables to separate the dongles from each other, but what's the point of that? I wanted *wireless* devices. Also, good luck if you want the dongles in the back of your computer (if it's made out of metal). All the metal back there is likely to cause even more interference. I had to plug all my dongles in the front. I may end up connecting all these via bluetooth to avoid the interference caused by using the 2.4Ghz dongles, but that's less than desirable due to the bandwidth limitations of Bluetooth (eg Chroma is severely limited), so not a great solution. Hopefully they will solve this via software updates, but I would avoid any of these products until they are more mature.

I like the headset for comfortability, but decently loud sounds like explosions or someone talking too loudly would make a staticky sound, and I found the audio software that comes with it was just too difficult to make the sounds in the headset sound the best, if I’m gonna download this software for this headset, the settings should be attuned for the headphones I’m using. Lastly the mic settings are even harder to manage with and I’ve been told by multiple people it still sounds cheap

Amazing headset. Better than my $250 steel series headset that’s forsure, sounds amazing with some EQ tweaks on PC I love the audio quality of the headset, sounds even better when I use it wired on my DAC, but overall this headset is great. I’m not sure how the mic is because I have a blue yeti x .

I have had not had any problems with this one. I love the charging cable for it and the ease of use to set it up. It doesn't glitch out like the other horrible one I had and will make beeps to alert you when it's dying and needs to be charged. Voice and volume quality are really good on it.

This headset is very stylish and has a really comfortable fit. The sound quality is clear. The only complaint I have about this headset is that the mic isn't the best for the price.
