Thought I try these for the PS5. They are very comfortable, amazing sound quality, mic is nice and clear. Battery seems to last forever, but no way in knowing battery percentage. Light changes once it hits about 30% and then flashes at about 10%. Can atleast be used while charging, but doesn't work well when charging from 0%

Great headset and feels like good quality. Very comfortable. Only problem i have is with the razer synapse software. The sound quality from the headset doesnt seem to amaze any more than an average 50 dollar headset. I did everything i could in the software to make sound good but its average at best.

Absolutely love this headset… haven’t been able to try the wireless feature because I am using the headset on Xbox Series S which doesn’t allow wireless compatibility with this headset (only downside of this headset but all Microsoft’s fault). Razed outdid themselves with this headset!

This is a well designed product, unless you have a large head. Then it may squeeze a little too tightly.
The sound quality is amazing. Ps4 and ps5 the multi durectional sound is quiet good. It really shines however on pc/laptop gaming. Great high and lows. The base is crisp without the edge of distortion you get in some headsets. The cushions are very well designed and have almost no feel to them.
At about half volume you can not hear most sounds through this headset. Which is nice if you do not wish to be disturbed or are big on being pulled into your game. Music on this headset is phenomenal. Also pro tip, download the razer software if you pc game. It helps to elevate your sound quality.

The Razer BlackShark V2 Pro Wireless is a decent wireless gaming headset with great sound quality and a comfortable design. However, the Bluetooth connectivity issues and the lack of extra features hold it back from being a truly great option, especially considering the price point.
If reliable Bluetooth and extra features are important to you, you might be better off looking at other wireless gaming headsets on the market.

This headset is super comfortable. It’s light and accommodates my larger head shape with ease. Razer Synapse software is neat for customizing sound profile to your liking. It really is nice and easy to maneuver. PS5 compatible, thumps bass for FPS but the sound is crystal clear. Great positioning allowing for tracing of enemies through sound cues. Recommend for the casual or competitive gamer!

AMAZING sound quality, Mic sounds great. Comfortable, able to wear it for hours, I can go about 2 days without charging them. I get no distortion or sound drops walking around my apartment wirelessly (I did use a USB extension cable and mounted the receiver on the wall above my computer setup for best performance) Disconnecting the boom mic and using an external condenser mic for streaming is also a great feature.

The sound quality is great and I can wear them for hours and sometimes forget they are there. The mic quality is the only downside but it is better than my last headset. Overall solid pick and comfortable even when wearing glasses.

Just needs better “Mic Monitoring”

I’ve owned these for almost a week now. Here’s the skinny of it:
1. Friends say my mic sounds great (I use the “conference” setting in Synapse 3
2. In-game audio is great. There are specific presets in Synapse for each game you own. “Game mode” seems to work the best for me. Compared to my HyperX Cloud 2’s (wired version), these are more bassy and not quiet as loud.
3. Battery life has been right around the advertised 20 hrs.
4. One of the main reasons I got these was to have “mic monitoring” on PC. This is why I’ve given it 4 stars. I was hoping it would sound like the mic monitoring on Xbox, but it actually very quiet. It’s still hard to hear myself speaking while gaming, but when I’m just chatting outside of gaming it sounds great.
5. All-in-all it is a great quality headset with great range, battery, audio, etc. I just hope that Razer Synapse can somehow enhance the “mic monitoring” because it seems like it could be a simple software fix.

Great Comfortable Gaming Headsets

I initially purchased the regular wired BlackShark v2 headsets and I fell in love with them. This Headsets hit all my needs.
Sound Quality - I am not an Audiophile but, i had the Sony WH-1000XM4 and this headsets sound just as good if not better! The bass is great and punchy but, not over powering where it muds the sounds. I can hear the grenades exploding, glass breaking, birds chirping and i can easily tell where players are coming from while playing COD. Also while working or doing homework its a pleasure to listen to music with.
Comfort- This is huge! The sony headsets were so painful to wear after 1-2 hours. My ears started to sweat and i started to get headaches. While wearing the blackshark pro i dont get headaches, sweaty ears or any pressure on my jaw. They are very light and is made out of breathable material. Sometimes i forget i am actually wearing them!
Mic/Customizability - The mic out of the box is average. I went on their synapse software and adjusted the settings to broadcast. That fixed the issue with the mic! I am also able to adjust the sound. Also razer used THx software for their surround sound and is GREAT! Games optimized to take advantage of THX will sound amazing!
I really think this headsets are worth the asking price. The build quality is solid. They are comfortable and the sound quality is great! I totally recommend them.

I gave the headset a 4 because the software is the issue. Although the Synapse 3 software is ok, beware you might not be getting the best out of them due to issues with THX Spatial sound not installed correctly. Your headset may sound fine but check your settings to make sure it is enabled. For some reason THX was set but on my monitor speakers so if I followed the recommendations the only time THX would work is when the sound came out of my monitor speakers. It took a few reboots before it was working. The other issue is the bluetooth is flaky. I had to try different USB connectors before I found one that didn't disconnect every time I moved my head. Once I did find a good port, I haven't seen any issues. I'm pretty tech savvy so to someone who expects to plug and play on a PC, it might get frustrating. In hind sight, I should have stuck with the tried and true - wired headset.

the headset itself is comfortable, also really light weight. The sounds are really nice and the mic also put out really clear sounds for gaming/discord. HOWEVER. this is not my first one. i sent back my first one because it would beep ALL. THE. TIME. for being to far away from the USB dongle... it was less that 1ft away..... the wireless range is TRASH. and the cable you can use to turn it into a wired headset, does nothing to rectify that. So you still get beeping all the time. If You go more than 6ft away, it has a BEEPING MELTDOWN. like..... a 12 year old COD player having a moment, kind of meltdown. not worth the price. move on.

I’ve tried out almost every gaming headset that is worth trying. After trial and error I’ve finally found the one. 3 things I have been looking for in a wireless headset. 1) mic quality. I was using a Shure SMB7 but it was overkill for me and I didnt like having something in front of my peripherals as I played FPS’, this was one of the best mic’s aside from the Corsair Virtuoso (next two things are the reason I didnt go with the Virtuoso) 2) comfort for a big head, this one adjusts perfectly to my big dome. I was using a logitec G pro wired and it was my go to for all my 3 points I need to hit in a headset but wanted to ditch the wire as I have a toddler who kept messing with it. 3) sound quality. Honestly I know you can never get sound quality in a wireless headset that you can with a studio headset/dac amp setup but these are really good and do the job. Im impressed with them for being wireless. So yeah thats why I chose these at the end.using them on PC

I’m really liking these so far. Excellent sound quality, and the removable mic is also convenient. The headphones are light and well suited for wearing for long periods of time. Seems to have pretty good battery life as well. Overall a great set for gaming and media alike.

These headphones are by far one of the best wireless headphones on the market. Set up was easy with the dongle connected to my PC automatically installed the drivers. The Razer software was easy to navigate to tune my headset as well as my mic to my liking. I’ve had Hyper X cloud, Turtle Beach 600 & 700 gen 2 recently. To compare these to the Blackshark V2 only the Hyper X would be at a distant 2nd. The Blackshark V2 sound is really balanced and the mic is very clear. I’m very impressed with Razer for this one. I never really liked Razer thinking they were always overpriced and lacking in quality. I can assure you these are top notch and are very comfy. The only thing if I could make an improvement would be the mute button. It’s location is is next to the power button and there is no sound que or light that shows it it’s on. If you can get past that then this is to me the best wireless headset I’ve owed by far for gaming.

I bought these because I had just broken my A40’s and needed something ASAP. I watched a bunch of videos and every one of them said this is probably the best headset. When I got this in my hand first I was surprised on how light it was. The a40’s were so light already so these being lighter just felt good. However the ear cuffs are muffle a lot of the noise and I personally liked the ones my a40’s came with which were much more breathable and didn’t heat up my ears. They sound really good and I genuinely like the surround sound. Razer had one of the best emulated surround sound IMO. These are good headsets but if you’re someone who needs a good mic too then you might have to look somewhere else cause these ones mic is very bad compared to other wireless headsets in the same price range.
