I am currently using the Corsair Virtuosos as my everyday headset, but they are a little bit on the heavier side, and so I wanted to try something lighter that could maybe be my replacement headset. The BlackShark V2 provide good quality sound, but they did not match the quality of my current headset. However, the price difference is significant, and so I think that these BlackShark V2 are an entry level headset so you should expect some good sound but not the best headset sound. Design – 4/5 The headphones look good. They are stealth and that black with bright green touches looks phenomenal. The microphone built is not great. I wish they would have invested a little more on that mic design. You get these awesome looking headphones, but the mic looks a little outplace with the headphone design. Comfortableness – 5/5 Super comfortable. You can wear these all day long! Loudness (Bass) – 4/5 I was using the USB SoundCard and these can get loud! A little too loud sometimes. I found myself keeping the volume at around 70% just because it was too loud for me. If you like super loud sound, you won’t be disappointed. I wish there was more base. I played a lot of WarZone with these on and the sound was super crisp and personally I like some bass on my gameplay. I moved the bass all the way up on the Razer Synapse app, but the bass did not improve much. Hyperclear Microphone – 3/5 I recorded myself with OBS and heard my playback and personally I think the microphone was a bit too clear for my liking. I played around with the options in the Razer Synapse app, but I couldn’t really see a differences when changing the settings. The microphone was not my favorite part of this headset. USB CardSound/THX Spatial Audio – 5/5 The Razer Synapse app gave you different audio profiles, but I would recommend the THX spatial audio option for the best experience. It feels louder and provides a good balance. As someone who doesn’t really play around with the equalizer, the THX spatial audio was great for me. Multiplatform – 5/5 I only tried on a PC with the USB CardSound and had zero issues with connectivity. If your budget is $100 these are great gaming headphones! If your budget is over that, there are some great options out there.

I purchased this headset and it didnt even last me 2 years before getting damaged. I got it replaced, got another warranty and here I am, yet again, with a damaged headset and it not even lasting 2 years. I will be buying a completely new brand because this is NOT it. Stay away

Decent headset. It would be better if the user was able to flip the mic so it could be on their right side or their left.

I've used Razer products before, so I was excited to try out this new headset. They exceeded my expectations with the quality of the sound and the overall comfort of the headset. These are one of the best headsets I've used, and they're not too expensive either. I like that they're multi-platform. While designed for gaming, you're not limited to one or two devices. It worked just as well with PC, especially with the included USB sound card, and phone as it did with the PS4. I spent most of the time (only had these a couple of days so far) on the console, and the sound is incredible. It's so clear that I could hear other players and still hear gameplay. Often I'll have to pause the game if I'm talking to someone, or I lose some of what they're saying, and I didn't have that issue with these. I also noticed how clear the mic is too; it's designed for minimal voice distortion and the difference was noticeable. The first thing that caught my attention when I started using them is how light and less bulky these are compared to my other headsets. They still feel well made, like they will last a while, but comfort when wearing for hours is really important. These didn't even need a few days to break them in. The cushions were so comfortable and breathable, without my ears getting too warm or the headset feeling too tight. The best features are the sound quality and noise cancellation. I couldn't hear someone talking to me in the room until I lifted one earpiece. My only issue with these is that the cord seems a little too short. It is almost six feet, so it's not that short, but I would have liked just a little more length. These come with a pouch to keep them dust free, and to hold the removable mic and sound card when not in use.
