This keyboard double-types. It makes typing virtually impossible. There are 33252 views on the forums and 74 posts at the time of writing this, with people experiencing the same issue. For reference: https://insider.razer.com/razer-support-45/razer-blackwidow-v3-pro-keys-double-typing-46601 this is completely unacceptable from a keyboard of this price. I've updated the firmware, tweaked keyboard settings, lowered polling rate, and nothing works. I want my money back. The colors are cool and would be great in theory, but this is supposed to be an input device primarily, and the input is the worst I've ever experienced.

The design and colors make the keyboard come alive

Keyboard fells nice better than my last black widow keyboard and the new improvements added to the board are awesome. Like the volume wheel and playback keys.

Barely 3 months old and the numpad 1 button has stopped working. Not a terrible keyboard overall but for the price it should not have issues this early. Seems like it is a common issue with these keyboards.

I've used Razer products for most of my gaming time, and I can say that the Razer BlackWidow V4 Pro is the worst Razer keyboard I've ever owned. I've returned two for the same issue. With around a month of use, they both started double-typing keys, making using the keyboard anywhere from annoying to impossible. Razer support has been less than helpful, as well. I've followed their recommendations to no avail, so I'm left with no other option than to find a different keyboard. It's a shame Razer's QC hasn't been able to fix these problems since release, as the keyboard itself feels lovely and has many great convenience features. I can't look past a glaring issue like this.

I have been buying and using keyboards since the 1990s, and I have never had such a terrible experience with one until this one. I thought after 30 years of buying general keyboards, I would splurge and treat myself--I never knew it would be such a miserable experience as this. The worst part is that it's too far after my purchase date for a quick return to Best Buy. I am not even going to try with Razer's support because of all the issues I see online with them. Today was the last straw. The "w" key has been acting odd in the past week, and now it randomly registers, and sometimes will randomly repeat. I thought I was getting a keyboard that would be sturdier than my other keyboards, which I might add still work correctly. The first sign of a problem was that intermittently random keys would repeat. Just typing this review has required edits for each sentence where letters would type twice. In a few instances, a letter would not register. It's not me--I have several antique typewriters, so I can press down on keys with no problem. A bigger red flag was what I found on Razer's discussion forums: users having the same problem with no resolution. They had tried everything: software fixes, hardware cleaning and replacement. Nothing would fix the issue. The second big issue I discovered was with the Synapse software. Even now, if I restart my computer, I can open their driver software to look at my keyboard device, and it will show the animated loading icon. That will occur for about 10-15 minutes or longer. I can still use my keyboard, but I have no idea why I that takes soooo long. The third deal-breaker for me is that several random times after restarting my computer, the keyboard is not lit. When it is not lit, you basically cannot use it because the keys are not designed to show without power. Using a flashlight to type in your Windows password is a pretty ridiculous sight. The only way I can get it to work is to unplug the keyboard, wait a few moments, and reconnect it. Then, it powers up as expected. Sometimes, if I restart my computer again, the keyboard will power on correctly. I wanted to love this keyboard and enjoy all of its added features, but it doesn't even work reliably on the most basic level. The problems are systemic, and many customers on Razer's Web site express the same issues. On the plus side, it will enjoy a cherished spot on ill-fated hardware in my house, sharing a box with an ancient Atari knock-off joystick that never worked right.

Works pretty good, keys are stiff but not hard to depress and the backlighting is enough to see the rest of the keys with.

great keyboard, functional and worked as advertised. I would recommend this to any gamer.
