Keys not contacting properly while using....
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While the overall feel and comfort is great, i noticed that when playing games several keys would not stay contacted. For example, when using the space bar to shoot a machine gun while playing War Thunder, it was as if the contact of the key was intermittant. The gun whould fire for a second but not stay firing. I would have to repress the key instead of just holding it down. Maybe it is just me and I am use to my prior keyboard. I also felt other key presses would not take on the first try. Very strange. I will be returning the product.

I wouldn’t recommend it
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s a nice keyboard the only problem is that after a week there’s a couple keys that when you press one time it types 3 times . I think it’s a ryzen problem . I got 6 keyboards with the same issue

Razer should be ashamed
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted to love this keyboard. I really did. Everything about its physical construction is great. It’s solid, heavy, the two rotating knobs are well made as well. But Razer should be nothing but ashamed at the internal quality of this keyboard. I went through two new versions of the BlackWidow Pro before finally coming across one that didn’t have a bad switch out of the box. 5 months on, the “o” switch finally failed on me, typing multiple “o’s” with every keystroke. Where the shame part from Razer comes in however, is that for a keyboard that is this expensive, it’s unconscionable to not have hot-swappable keys. Unless you want to remove over 20 screws and get your soldering iron out, this keyboard is just a paperweight once one of the switches start to fail. I realize some folks are pretty comfortable soldering, and after all, there are only two contacts that need to be soldered, however for a $250 keyboard (after tax), it’s time you shouldn’t have to spend to fix a $.75 switch.

Never Razer again.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Owned tthis keyboard for three months. Double typing multiple keys already (like the tt seen now...this is only one touch on tt key...there it goes again). $200+ dollars for this? look around on the web and you'll see hundreds of complaints with exactly tthe same problem.

Bad keyboard
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had high hopes for this Razer keyboard, but unfortunately, it fell short in a major way. The "R" key keeps getting stuck or registering repeated presses, making it nearly impossible to type anything without "rrrrrrrr" showing up everywhere. For a premium brand like Razer, I expected much better quality control. This kind of flaw shouldn't happen at this price point, especially with a key as essential as "R." Very frustrating experience overall. Would not recommend.

Another excellent Razer keyboard
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Razer BlackWidow V4 Pro is a great full size wired mechanical keyboard. Typically sought after by gamers, I think it is also a nice everyday keyboard for heavy typing or general purposes. Out of the box it comes with a magnetic plush leatherette wrist rest, 2 USB Type A to Type C cables and an info guide. As a wired keyboard, it uses those cables to connect to the computer and then it is ready to use. There is 1 USB Type A passthrough. The keyboard is a uniform black color. It is 18.3 inches long and 1.73 inches high. Without the wrist rest, it is 6 inches wide and weighs 2.49 lbs. With the wrist rest, it is 9.35 inches wide and weighs 3.37 lbs. I would highly reccommend downloading the Razer Synapse app early on which will provide a wide array of RGB options and custom modes. The RGB for this keyboard is per key and the wrist rest also has customizable RGB underglow. I find the intensity and color of the RGB to be perfect with sharp color contrast. The keys have green mechanical switches which means it has a clicky sound. Pressing the keys isn't that loud and I didn't notice it after the first minute. The keys are doubleshot ABS keycaps which are not my preference for keycaps but work fine. The keyboard includes a multi-function roller with four media keys. It also has a command dial with eight dedicated macro keys which are customizable. The default macro keys are set to keyboard brightness, zoom, switch apps, track jogging, track selector, vertical scroll, horizontal scroll, and switch browser tabs. But, each also has a secondary mode that is implemented by using the function button. There are so many useful features that can be tweaked to what a user needs that it feels great to have those kinds of shortcuts. I tested the keyboard with games and with typing and it feels great for either purpose. Using the wrist rest as a base felt natural and added support. Key travel seemed very normal, although the space bar seemed to press down with a different resistance. Overall, this is a great keyboard with almost every feature that a user could ever need to customize their experience. The Synapse software is easy to use while adding a high level of customization. I would reccommend the Razer BlackWidow V4 Pro for gamers specifically, but also for all users generally.

Unstable software spoiled a great keyboard.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Razer's software updated when I attached this keyboard, required a reboot, then proceeded to crash my computer on every boot until I restored a save point. After that, the razer software was never able to detect the keyboard again so I could not configure it

Great Windows RGB keyboard for gaming / video
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Razer - BlackWidow V4 Pro Full Size Wired Mechanical Green Switch Gaming Keyboard with Chroma RGB is a phenomenal Gaming keyboard. It is physically impressive with great human factors engineering. The extended full size keyboard (about an inch wider than my other full sized gaming keyboards) accommodates a full 101 standard keys plus additional macro, command and control keys along with the Razer™ Command Dial (8 functions) and a volume roller with 4 media keys. The version I have is the one with the razor green clicky switches which are mechanical and have a nice solid click and feel when actuated. You can also get the BlackWidow V4 Pro keyboard with near silent key depression yellow switches. It is easy to set up as a primary gaming keyboard with multiple configurations for different games, battlestation style etc. and also can be set of for quick reconfigure to do video editing. The RGB lighting is AWESOME with immersive underglow and per-key lighting using the Razer Chroma™ RGB controlled by Razer Synapse. I use different RGB patterns to show me what functional keyboard layout I am using. Magnetic RGB wrist rest (weighty at a little over three pounds) that attaches magnetically to the keyboard to power the wrist rest RGB very nice and stable. This keyboard also features - doubleshot ABS keycaps. USB passthrough, 2 braided Type A to Type C cables for standard keyboard connection and USB passthrough. 5052 aluminum alloy construction for durability with a matte – non glare finish. Great satisfying sound profile with pre-lubed stabilizers and 2 layers of internal sound dampening foam (gives a solid sound – not cheap clink, up to 8000 hz polling rate, 5 onboard memory profiles and you can save as many custom profiles to the cloud as you want. Wish list - I wish they would expand the RGB lighting software (Razer Synapse) to include macOS systems.

Terrible Warranty
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was a good keyboard for about 5 months. Then a few keys stopped working and some would produce double figures. Seems others have indicated this issue if you read around for different reviews. Registered for the warranty the day I bought it. Razer warranty is the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. There are no individual responses and no one reads the chain of emails. It's like you're stuck in a loop. You may not even get the same keyboard as a replacement (read the small print), but that's after you send it back to them and pay ahead for a replacement or don't pay and wait 2-3 weeks for a replacement.

Terrible customer support from Razer.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For being a mechanical keyboard, the keys feel squishy to me. The main reason for my rating is the horrendous support I received for my RMA on a faulty keyboard. It took weeks and dozens of emails to get a product that they agreed was defective even shipped. They just kept passing me from person to person and telling me to do the same things that I'd told them didn't work over and over. To be determined how it goes from here.
