Great Step up from V1
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have the V1 and while I like it overall, I’ve always thought that the curve of the back was a little too aggressive and that the seat feels like it tips forward a bit. With this edition they fixed both those issues and they also improved the bottom cushion to be more comfortable. Design is still sturdy and reliable. All the components feel heavy duty and durable. They changed the way the covers work to cover the brackets that hold the backrest to the seat rest so that it seems more sturdy and less likely to break. The right side on my V1 cracked and broke loose within a few months. It’s mostly aesthetic, but its good to see they fixed that issue. They have added some additional features for the lumbar support where the pad that gives that support can move both forward and back to increase or decrease support, but it can also move up and down to add the support in different locations based on your height. It works well, but I did notice that since I don’t do a lot of support that it turns out to be a bit loose and can wobble a bit back and forth. Its not uncomfortable or anything and I got used to it pretty quickly, but it threw me off for a bit until I figured out what was going on. It recommends 2 people to set it up, but I did it by myself without a problem, but I could see someone that was younger, so not as tall, not as long a reach or maybe not as strong, might need a second person. All in all it only took me about 15 minutes to get the whole thing set up and I didn’t need any additional tools, they provided everything. The packaging was really well done and bordering on overkill, but it made sure everything came in pristine condition without any scratches or scuffs. The only thing that I really don’t get was that they included a set of gloves to “build it”. Not necessary and a bit quirky, but I guess maybe someone knows a good reason for it. Overall I really like this chair and it’s a good step up from V1.

Fantastic adjustable gaming/computer chair
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this chair for computer and video games and I really appreciate the build quality. I work from home and have purchases premium office chairs for myself and my wife in our home office and I find this chair to have far more in common with ones costing more than Razer's instead of with similarly priced models. Its weight rated over 300lbs and the frame, legs and pneumatic mechanism all feel very stable. The chair itself of reasonable heavy which I also find very reassuring. I'm somewhat tall and this chair adjusts well to fit my frame, although I found the strap-on head pillow to be an annoyance: height, tilt and three-way adjustable arms plus two-way adjustable lumbar mean I can really dial it in. The seat itself is well cushioned: in many chairs sub $300 I can tell that I'm going to be sitting on steel frame within a couple months and that is not the case here: it pads my read end like a well-loved lazy boy recliner. Because of how adjustable this is it also fits my 12yo son equally as well as me: as easy as he reconfigures an ipad he flips the adjustments and destroys my fine-tuned seat adjustments to meet his diminutive frame. Overall this is a premium gaming chair: hopefully I still think so after a couple years of use.

Decent gaming chair
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So, if you are looking for a nice chair that will be comfortable for a decent amount of time, this is a good one to look at. There are things, however, that from a casual gamer standpoint, I tend to look at. First, it is well made and is awesome to look at. I love the black and green mix. The chair is comfortable to sit in for the basic gaming sessions. It has nice arm rests that are adjustable and they do go outward on the rest portion to give a different arm angle. The included head rest slip over the top Velcro thingy, I do not like. It is basically useless. Also, the seat is comfortable, just not comfortable for anything past a couple hours. If you are looking for all day gaming comfort, this is not the chair. It is easy to put together, easy to use and will adjust to your desired seating position easily. One note, is the adjustable arm rest has a clicking squeeze that lets you place your armrest to the desired height. My left arm has never worked since installation, no matter what I do to remedy, it will not hold. Overall, decent chair, for gaming, I would recommend.

My Razer Gaming Chair
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I picked up the chair today. I do really like the chair. My previous chair was a tank and was still in good condition after 6 years. This chair a lot of amenities. It feels very robust thus far. My only gripe would be the seat. I am not exactly svelte in my over 50 body. I would have loved for the seat to have 1 more inch or so of depth. Outside of that, I love how you can adjust the lumbar on the chair. Definitley a well built chair. Time will tell how well it will last compared to the tank it is replacing.

5' 8" and I don't fit in this chair
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have used this product for a few months and come to the following conclusions. Poor R&D led to a chair made for tall people with short arms. I am average height at 5'8" and the arm rest do not lower enough to feel comfortable. The lumbar support does not lower enough either. The minimum height setting is not low enough and there is a pole sticking out of the bottom so you can not even put it on low profile chair feet. If the rocking spring is set to the lowest settings and it's still very difficult to rock back. The SEAT IS SUPPOSED TO SHIFT FORWARD when you rock back or recline to keep lumbar support aligned. It DOES NOT DO THAT AT ALL, which is very disappointing as this was a core focus of razer's advertising for this product. The lumbar support does turn and move with you. That is a good concept, but there is also lots of slack in the adjustment knobs, which is not good and the adjustments take lots of turning. I do not recommend this product and I don't plan on trusting Razer ever again.
