Compared to a a Bluetooth headset I was using this is by far a way better option. I can hear alot more footsteps and the sound quality overall is really good. The only con that I found which I should've done more research is that the thx function on these wont work on console.

Purchase two of these headsets (husband and teenage son). These pass the “gamer test” and have lasted. High quality headphones. Mic sounds great in game. Surround sound effects when gaming. I have heard no complaints- and apparently the noise blocking feature works!

Razer has gone downhill - had two copies of this products.. one the THX wouldn't work. There is about 18 ft of cable that is just a bit too much by about 10 ft (it is nice cable). there are two different ways to control the volume and activate the mic. Ive had headsets razer since they had headsets and the older ones are nicer sound with a more quality feel. Also, synapse 3 the razer app, is currently unsupported to to covid though that might change. The unit that worked, worked fine but after organizing the cable the thx box had to hang and was annoying on the left side of the headset just dangling getting caught on the arm of the chair or whatever would get in the way.

I bought these for my son who is a gamer after his old Razer set died they lasted at least 3 years if not more I was going to try and fix them but they were just were out The new ones have great sound and the mic is clear so when he is in a battle he can communicate what his team.

I absolutely love the sound on these, yes there’s better out there but this is great for the price and what I use them for (games obviously hehe), also good for just sitting down and watching Netflix. Note: you need to have it plugged into the usb amp to use it to its full potential.

Bought these for my daughter in college. She is a computer major and had another brand. When she asked for them to go with her keyboard and mouse by Razer, I figured headphones were headphones, but after listening to them I figured out why she wanted them. They sound great!

This is a good headset that is very comfortable. But there is one issue. The volume control on the side of the wire often brushes against my leg and randomly decreases the volume. It also can become mute randomly, but this is very rare.

The best headphones we've tried, even better than the $150.00+ headphones we've used! Delivered on time, work great, the only headphones we use. Even tried the new Playstation surround sound headphones, and these sound much better!

This is a good headset. It’s a bit pricey and I don’t really use the extra “championship” features. It was actually in the wrong place on the shelf so I didn’t intend to buy these, but they’re great for gaming.

Easy to setup - sound quality is as good as, maybe a little clearer than my previous Razer headphone that stopped working due to a faulty cable. Like the external switch that is convenient for muting quickly.

This review is specifically regarding use with Series S/X. Out of the box, connected directly to the Xbox controller, the audio is dreadfully flat. They have zero life to them. It’s saving grace is the Dolby app, using Dolby Atmos and it’s EQ. I highly suggest getting Atmos and fine tuning a custom EQ for your taste. Personally, I enjoy Bass heavy music and push the lows in my EQ. This headset handles it very well. Don’t get discouraged if they aren’t great out of the box. With a little work, they work very well on the Series S/X.

This headset sounds so good and it came very safely packaged! Best Buy is the best place to buy stuff for gamers because you can get it anytime at a location. But what sucks is that I can’t use the thx sound on a console

I bought this, and my first impressions were not what I expected, but after a few weeks of use, I am very impressed. 7.1 Virtual Surround sound is great, especially when used during game play like in Tom Clancy's The Division 2. Accurate sound location for the gun fire is AWESOME!

The sound is amazing THX. But for get that sound quality you have to connect it to your USB PC or Laptop. If you use the regular audio connector you wouldn’t be able to enjoy the high sound quality (THX).

These headphones are the best pair I have had in a long time. They mute the sound around you and bring you into whatever you are watching or playing, especially using the 7.1 capabilities. Would definitely recommend.

I gave 5 start bc this headsets,are great quality,they work perfectly,the bass the surround volume,everything.the most important thing is listen to the enemys foot steps while playing call of futy or any war game....i love this headsets

The sound quality and the software are great, if that’s all you’re concerned about these are worth it especially if they’re on sale. If you care about how you sound to others, this mic probably a 5/10.

This headset is one of the better headsets I've purchased, with a large amount of customization. I've used this over PC and PS4 and have had no issues thus far. I definitely recommend this headset.

I use this headset for PUBG. If PUBG wasn't terrible with sound I would have more to say. No complaints on the actual headset. It is comfortable and easy to get just the right sensitivity for my voice to not annoy my squad with background noise.

Razor quality. Good audio. Fob control is nice. microphone quality is the limiter. Good headset as long as you are not planing on using the mic for content creation.
