They are difficult t get to work and when they do they frequently stop working.

The sound from these are great the thx adapter though is plastic and feels cheap I at times feel like i might break it. The actual headset is comfortable to wear and i feel like i am immersed in the game or watching a movie

After reading several reviews online of different gaming headsets I decided to go into Best Buy and try on a few. After trying out about 10 different pair I decided on the Razer Kraken Tournament Edition. The first thing you notice is how comfortable they are. The longest gaming session I have had with them so far was just over 2 hours and my ears did not sweat and really forgot I was wearing them. Sound in game is great, the THX Spatial Audio is also very good (nothing better or worse than normal 7.1 to my ears). The only concern I had with them was when listening to music. I noticed the audio was going in and out as if something was close then far away and close again. I turned off THX and adjusted every setting I could find and nothing helped until I turned the inline volume switch down from maximum. Once I did that music sounded normal again. Overall these are really good gaming headphones that are extremely comfortable, if they did not have the odd music audio issue I worked out they would have been perfect.

I'll start by saying that these are by far my favorite gaming headset of the year. The build quality is excellent and better than expected at this price point. The ear cups are very large and engulf my ears easily. they do well to isolate sound and the pads are very comfortable. I think it is faux leather and some very soft satin feeling fabric. the headband is very strong and feels like its built to last forever. The inline microphone sound crisp and has an inline volume slider and a mute switch. the headset comes with a usb plug which automatically helps you install the needed software to use it on a pc. you need to use it to get the virtual surround sound and THX sound. These are best used with a computer since you have a lot of presets to choose from with the Razer software. I love watching movies with these headphones are. They are totally immersive and the thx surround sound effect is pretty cool for movies and games. it is implemented quite nicely and you can "feel" and hear which direction sounds are coming from. Sound quality is very very good also at this price point. I think you get a lot for your hard earned dollars when buying this headset. Pros - Awesome sound THX certified! Long cord Cons - can't take advantage of added effects on a ps4 or xbox computer needed to run software

My son uses these for FortNite. They plug right into the Switch. While he has headphones from Bose and Beats, he prefers these for gaming. I wouldn't recommend them for pure music playing but the combo of the mike quality and the gaming sound handling makes these a reasonable mid-price option for gaming that shouldn't disappoint.

I was blown away on how good these sound and how easy it is to set them up on PC. The fake surround sound is good better then other brands, I only used these for gaming and that’s it. So from a gamers perspective yes I would recommend these but I would recommend them even more if they were wireless.

I say sounds because there are so many. I have an adjustment for everything, particular games and movies. I have it all in this headset and for game chat the guys say they can hear me like I'm in the room with them. Pick this up today!.

i love razer product i currently have razor keyboard and mouse and they work great. But this ive had alot of problems with it. I've had it for 2 month. the sound keeps going in and out. The THX has never work. mic doesnt work. im actually going to return it today, im tired of it not working. it does sound good though when it works. and it does cancel out all outside noise. i really like the volume adjuster on the wire. I've alwayed like razer product. ive had good luck with the mouse and keyboard that ive had for 6 years. but there is something with the headsets i dont have luck with them. this is the 3rd razer headset ive had in 2 year gone out on me.

Good headphones overall. I didn't like the fact that the box advertised them as having a special design to prevent pressure on your glasses. In fact that was one of the main reasons I got them, bc my previous headphones where hurting my ears when I wore them together with eye glasses. After I opened them I couldn't notice any difference at all in the material, design or layout of the cushions that would help for this. I looked info online to understand the product better and found nothing. While they are in fact comfortable to wear overall, I can't help but feel a little scammed or disappointed by this.
