We initially bought a different brand that was USB, required the manufacturer's software, was a pain to set up, and then broke within two weeks. While returning those, I chatted with one of the workers in the computer department who is also a gamer and has tried most of the headsets. These were recommended, and so far they have been great. The set up went quickly and easily (something I never thought I would need to say about a headset!!), no software download was needed, and they have worked flawlessly. This experience is why I continue to support brick and mortar Best Buys.

Sound quality is great, and microphone works well. Have been told by others tgat it is much crearer than my previous set. Sturdy construction, and the box it arrived in is a great place to store them when not in use to keep them safe.

This headset operates at a fine level at first glance. The actual build of the headset is very solid for the price. This is a good headset for anyone with long hair in terms of pure build, the band won't soak up oils and won't mess up your bangs very much as a result. But in all truth, the sound mix in this headset is unbelievably sibilant. High ends to the EXTREME mixed with a muddy low end. The result is terrible without an equalizer. The 8k hz range is so ridiculously high that it almost requires deafening the 8k range just to get decent sound quality. Not only that, there is NO REAR CHANNEL. Sounds placed directly in the back are non existent. THIS IS AN ISSUE IN GAMING. I can recommend this to very casual players, but anyone playing competitive games shouldn't give it a second look.

How does this $60 headset beat many other ones above $100? I've had mine for a while now and never broke so I don't know how you guys break them. Do you guys play baseball with them? The sound quality on these gems are flawless. Good job Razer!

Just purchased this headset, it works perfect. Looks really nice and sturdy and wasn't uncomfortable after wearing it for a 3 hours straight. I bought the 2 year replacement plan. I recommend this for any headset you get it is easy to break wires even if it is a very expensive set.

Comfortable and cute. The quality is really good. In game sounds are excellent and the mic works wonderfully. Definitely will stick with this brand in the future. I wear glasses and can keep these on for 8+ hours of gaming with only mild discomfort after a while.

I decided to get these since i was doing so may online meetings. I wear hearing aids so needed something that would go over the aids. These are working great for me and I am using them even more frequently when listening to other things on my computer.

Good quality set of headphones,; noise cancelling is fair-to-medium on user's end, and people standing right next to you can hear a little sound . Used for work, gaming and family calls. Mic is decent.

Might just be the comically large size of my nogin, but after just a few months, the adjustable part of the headset broke so I just had two dangling ears. When they were in tact they worked fine. decent quality audio. mic isn't great but it is what you pay for

The sound quality of my games is wonderful and makes it creepier for the horror games, with sound going into either the right or left based on location and where in game the sound is coming from in regards to character positioning. Wonderful and amazing.

Overall the headsets exterior is very high quality. The sound quality is also very good. Everything is great about it..... Except the microphone being retractable concerns me and I will be surprised if it lasts long term. But as of now no complaints.

These headphones work well! I’ve had them for a minute had to get a replacement because they shorted on the right side bc of me but other than that they work great for gaming and what I use them for karaoke. Would definitely buy again

Got these because I was looking for something on the less expensive side to chat with buddies playing games. This fit the bill. Can't speak to the quality of the mic, but the sound works great on my end.

Good product. Came as advertised. Got it on sale around Thanksgiving. Does what I bought it for, so no complaints. Not a big time gamer, so wasn't looking for anything overly expensive or extravagant.

These are better quality then my old razer headphones. I did have the kracken light up ones a few years back. These headphones are good for tuning everyone in the house out. The color is perfect and more pink then they look in picture.

If you want to get into the market for high-quality headphones and want a cheap start these are the headphones for you, though these are good headphones I would still recommend the tournament edition over these ones they're good for beginners.

I use for work conference calls and got at a small discount. They are wired and have the option for 7.1 surround sound with an additional app. Sure beats the heck out of any wireless options I own for the price point.

I was on the hunt for a new headset to replace my Sony Gold’s and came across some good reviews on the Kraken. Overall the headset had good sound quality and decent build but that’s really it. The sound wasn’t overly impressive, no surround sound, average mic sound, the unit is pretty bulky, and it’s pricey for what you get. Decided I wanted to try others so I also bought the steel series arctic 5 and 7 which I ended up returning both as well for other reasons. At the end of all that time spent trying different headets I realized the Sony Gold’s are probably the best wireless headset you can get for PS4 so I stuck with that.

These sound really good and the mic has good sensitivity. I would give five stars, however, the foam ear cups have fallen off twice now. They aren’t super difficult to get back on, but still a slight annoyance.
