I'm new to online/streaming gaming, and have found these to be a good set of headphones for someone like me just starting out. As far as what I'm hearing, sound-wise, and what gets recorded on my mic, I have 0 complaints.

Bought this headset for my son for his birthday. It is good quality and does not hurt his head as he wears glasses. He says the sound is very good and has not had any issues. I would recommend this product

Overal it’s a really good headset for the price you pay. That being said my friends say they hear static come through a good bit when I play on my switch. No complaints when I use discord on my laptop though

Not the best, however the sound is decent. This headset beats some well known competitors of price points over $100. Material is great, and my kids have not complain about discomfort over long periods of used.

Pretty good headset works great with my PS4 really comfy I got a huge head and I wear glasses and I can wear it for like 5 hours before it gets uncomfortable it be all plastic tho so don’t smack it around and it should be fine been about month now since I got it haven’t noticed any creaking overall great deal

They sound good, the mic is a little finicky after muting. You might have to cycle mute and unmute a couple of times in order to get the microphone to turn back on.

not the best when it comes to sound quality. Microphone adapter choses when it works. Appreciated the surround sound and aesthetics of the headphones but that’s it.

Great. I use them daily on the PS4. Nice and loud for games. Really helps with playing Modern Warfare and hearing approaching enemy footsteps and gun fire. Watching movies, it doesn't feel as loud, even at full volume. I don't know if it's a setting within the PS4 or something with the headset.

These headphones work great! Used on an Xbox Series X. Has a noise-cancelling feature that works pretty well for the price you pay. Purchased the warranty which is a good deal also. Highly recommend.

The pandemic has sent many people home and many people are working from home. This was needed to clear out the other sounds from the house. It allowed me to focus on the work that needed done while using with Microsoft Teams.

We got this headset for my son and were looking for something that was a quality product and didn't break the bank. These are so worth it. When he has these on he can't even hear his 6 year old brother playing loudly in his bedroom with him. He also says the sound is amazing. They are a great deal at a great price.

I bought this headset for my son to replace a Turtle Beach brand headset that was a very good headset, but finally began to periodically fail after a good run. The Kraken X ear cups are soft and pretty comfortable, without too much squeeze on the head overall. The cups are covered in a faux leather, not a cloth material, so for some people, they might be warmer over the ears. The mic is fairly short, compared to the last headset we owned, and isn't nearly as flexible. It is fairly flexible and can be bent up out of the way when not in use. The left ear cup has a built-in volume control, but even at its loudest, this headset isn't very loud. It also comes with an in-line mic mute button near the volume control. This is what made us disappointed & frustrated with this product. The headset works well as a plug & play device with my son's gaming laptop, but the mic mute button DOES NOT function. At first, we thought it was faulty, but when I plugged the headset into my iPhone, the mic mute button functions properly. So it appeared to be a compatibility issue. My son's laptop is a pretty new, high-end gaming laptop running Windows 10, so this headset should be plug & play without issues. To test the problem, I plugged the headset into another laptop, but again, the mic mute button would not function. On that laptop, I also got a loud humming noise when playing back a recording made with the headset. I contacted Razer and they wanted to know if I had tried the "Y" adapter that came with the headset. The Y adapter is for computers that have separate mic and headphone jacks. I hadn't tried that because a vast majority of laptops, including ours, have a single, combined headphone/mic jack. Besides, if the mic mute button only works with the separate jacks, that's a major design flaw. They also blamed it on a Microsoft software issue, because of course they would. At that point, I tested the Y adapter on a computer that does have separate headphone & mic jacks, but I could not get the Kraken microphone to work AT ALL. The headphones would work, but the microphone would not function at all on that computer. So to recap, I've tried this headset on 3 different computers with both jack configurations and the mic mute button will not function on any of them. On one, the mic doesn't work at all and on another, there's a loud hum when playing back a recording. Keep in mind that every other device I plug into these 3 computers, including an old stand-alone microphone, work flawlessly. This is a clear indication that it's NOT a Microsoft issue, like Razer claims, but is a major compatibility issue with this Razer headset. I'm still waiting for their response, but they had to start a new trouble ticket because after our last exchange, they deemed the problem solved and closed the case without confirming it with me. After the purchase of 2 Razer mouses and now this Razer headset, we're done buying Razer products. Their customer service is terrible. Giving this review 3 stars might be too generous, but the Kraken X headset does technically work on my son's gaming laptop. He just has to mute the mic through his gaming chat software instead of the built-in mute button.

Overall great budget headphones, you can easily track footsteps in any FPS game and they work well with any console. Meanwhile these are the entry-level headset for Razer they do not fail to perform well. They come equipped with 7.1 Surround sound technology amazing for games and movies.

Ive been through a number of headsets over the years. These are great. The mute button seems backwards logically (red being muted) but don't care as long as it works. Feel quality made and have no complaints on sound.

Really great inexpensive headphones. At the moment, I don't use them for gaming, but I am planning ahead. The headset's construction feels stable. They offer an app to make the headsets 7.1. I am pleased.

After reading reviews and recommendations for eye-glass wearers, this had great reviews. Purchased this for my daughter (who wears glasses) and she said that they are very comfortable, even after hours of constant use.

"MOM I NEED THESE! PLEASE!" They work great, although he has since broken the adjustment slider. I taped them up and the sound is still perfect for me. He does not get to use them anymore. So yes, I would recommend these to a friend. They are awesome for watching Karen's in the Wild videos.

If you're looking for entry level price for headphones these are amazing. Obviously not audiophile headphones but for gaming and daily use these are great starters. Got them for my girlfriend who does some light gaming and these are 20x better than some cheapo hyperX or other off brand headphones.

I work from home and needed a new headset. I was using the headset that came with my phone so this is definitely an upgrade. The sound is clear, no audio issues at all. I should have bought these months ago. I will of course use these for gaming but for now, I use them for work. Money well spent!
