Haptics and Great Audio All in One!

TLDR Version: Better Sound than most Razer Headsets, Haptics Make Bass Better, Build quality is good enough but not amazing. Setup takes time. You need to know how to use Razer Synapse 3. Worth buying but keep the package and receipt at first! These headphones are designed for someone who is already familiar with the Razer Synapse 3 Program in order to tune them to your liking! These headphones have excellent sound (to me, a non-audiophile). Especially when you use Synapse to set the equalizer. The high ends are very crisp and the bass goes lower than most Razer headsets (more on that later). I have owned the Kraken set for a few years and these outperform them in every way. They are not the same speakers inside for certain. The build quality is mostly plastic but they are heavy enough as it is. You wouldnt want an all metal construction. They are quite durable as is. So long as you don't throw them across the room. They will be fine. My favorite aspects are the self-adjusting headband and, as always, the Razer earcups. I was very skeptical about the haptics when I bought these and kept the packaging and receipt ready to go in case it was just a useless feature but it really surprised me. The haptics primary function seems to be to accent the bass. It makes it feel like you have big subwoofers on your ears and increases the immersion level in games by a good margine. It does get excessive very quickly so you want to set the haptics low (mine is at 30%). My few cons are that the charging cable is a micro usb and not a type C (in 2020 cmon). Really an "ultimate" model should include a charging stand that you just drop them on to charge with no cables. Secondly, the setup is a bit daunting. I had to use Soundswitch to get them to play nice with my sound bar that I use when watching videos. All the configurations took a bit of messing with to get right as well. I suggest playing a bass-boosted song while tuning them otherwise you'll be unpleasantly surprised at the sudden over-the-top haptics later on. Next, The volume knob is right where you'd grab the headset to take it off and its very sensitive. You could easily change the volume just adjusting your headphones on your ears (which i constantly do) Finally, they can be loose on the head. You wouldn't want to use these while walking around or on a rough train ride. They slip off the head easily. Final points, The RGB is minimal. Nothing to base your purchase on, the earmuffs twist inward to make it sit comfortably around your neck. In the end I'd certainly recommend these to gamers for FPS games and cinematic single player games (like Farcry or Witcher). Music can be good too but make a different Synapse profile with different settings for it. All-in-all a great buy with unique features!

The Bluetooth has good range, the sound isn't bad but it can vary depending on what it's being used for. But for bass it's AMAZING!

I will start by saying that we are a very loyal Razer customer....so starting with the Nari Ultimate seemed the natural choice for a high-end gaming headset... and I couldn't have been more wrong. These things are BULKY, not so heavy, but sticking almost 2 inches out of your ears it makes them really awkward and uncomfortable. But we knew that before buying them,,,, Now sound quality was a total let down....they sound muffled....the mic does not pic a crisp voice... Really disappointing.

For supposedly being a premium headset, this thing is the most expensive paper weight I have ever bought. Not only does the sound from the headset leakthrough, they are using micro-usb instead of USB-C, which causing the cable to get worn out if using it while plugged in. Use it for streaming? Don't even try. The sound from the headset will leak through to the microphone. The motors for simulated bass vibration also interferes with the wireless connectivity and causes people to keep asking me what I said because I sound that robot. The plastic on my microphone also just degraded and crumbled after only a year of use. Don't even get me started on the software. The stupid headset does not even listen to the commands being sent to it to not auto shut down in 60 seconds. The only thing it will listen to is the RGB commands, Do not waste your money on this headset. You will be sorely disappointed.
