I also appreciate audio quality. This headset is comfortable but the audio quality is outclassed by many others on the market. The THX surround sound is garbage and is a marketing ploy. The only way I could get this headset to sound decent was by using dolby atmos instead. With my improvements I can only give this a fair to average rating. The bass is muddy and drowns out the midrange. My astro a50's I was using before they broke blow this headset out of the water. I would encourage everyone to look at the artics line by steel series for a hyper x set. The price of this particular headset needs to be sub $100 to make it a real value. The corsair void is one the the best offerings at the low pricepoints and the headsets by corsair are worth considering. I think all of the headsets I mentioned are better than this one. Hope this helps. I cant reccomend this headset.
