The sound is good, they fit well, though they are a bit heavy. The ear cups are very comfortable but the 'cooling' doesn't last that long. They do get a bit sweaty. The mic quality is just okay. I've had better, but it's far from the worst.

    Nari VS Kraken 7.1 V2

I had the Kraken 7.1 V2 and they were great headphones minus sometimes the drivers getting messed up and the mic not working. I just got the Nari wireless headphones and the sound quality is amazing! They are definitely a step above the Kraken 7.1's. The mic quality I assume will be the same between the two, then again gaming headset mics are okay so cant do much about it. Therefore, If you have the extra money then I would highly recommend these headphones.

    Great gaming headset

Moved up from a pair of the Overwatch Razer headsets because they always put the cord on the left ear cup and I keep my PC on the right side of the desk, so the cord crosses over my body. I wanted a wireless set with some nice RGB, and got just that. Going to take some tweaking and practice with getting levels right. The THX surround sound is great. Anyone saying they can't tell the difference probably "can't tell the difference" between 1080p and 4k either (yes they can, they just aren't paying attention). Love being able to balance streaming music from the web, voice chat, and sound effect levels while in Overwatch. Keeps me entertained and pumped while still able to tell little sound effects that are key to being aware in the battle field of a game. Oh and the ear cups are big and comfortable. If you want a pair of wireless Razer headphones, I say get these.

Abysmal mic quality for the price

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I expected a set of headphones this pricey to at least have a solid mic, but after using it for a night, the mic in these headsets is no better than the mic on the headset that comes with your Xbox or Playstation. Even after spending over an hour fiddling with settings and testing, the mic is so easily overloaded, the proprietary Razer software is like a band-aid on a sucking chest wound. What a huge disappointment, and unworthy replacement for my Corsairs that were 1/3 the cost.

Great for the price, lower on audio lows.

The overall gaming experience with them was great. But music is not the greatest as I guess they were not designed for it. It misses a bit on the lows of the audio at times. But for the price they are great. I am a Razer fan, their products are great and the compatibility with the software gave me no issues. Mic quality is not amazing as they are wireless but its comes with the cable to hard wire it. They fit nice and snug on my smaller head and are very lightweight. Overall, I cant complain for the price range and its rgb functionality.

I love Razer, always have always will, I love the feel and fit of these, it's loose which I like otherwise I get a headache the cool feel pads are great the buttons and dials are nice, I love the chroma but where I find the weak point is the audio quality. I'm a bit upset about it. Especially for $150 headset it's unfortunate.

Nice headphones but not good sound.

I've seen a lot of people complementing the sound for the headphones and honestly I haven't been having a good time with the sound. I came from using my Astros (A10) and moving to these headphones that sound just is straight weird. Sounds oddly muffled and yes I went and played around with the settings on my PC, PS4, and the actual settings on Razer Synapse. I play Siege a lot, which already isn't good with the sound in it already, and just with the sound being off it does not help me at all. It's a good price for these headphones but I wouldn't recommend to other people.

After trading in my Arctis 7's for something more comfortable, I bought the Razer Nari. Its a comfortable headset, audio sounds great, but Microphone was defective right from the get-go. After spending an hour chatting with tech support, their response was to just replace it. First time I've ever been disappointed in Razer.

This headset has a fatal flaw that Razer doesn't seem interested in addressing. I got to use this headset for two hours before the mic stopped working. There is no way to fix this. If you search online for this issue, you will find it's quite common. Whether it happens the first day you have it or a month later, don't worry, the mic will stop working. Choose a different headset. It's a shame because these seem really nice otherwise.

Microphone breaks - Razer has no fix

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Buyer beware. The microphone will just break and Razer has no solution. They will send you in circles through product support, will offer no solution and end up telling you to return it for another one. I've been a razer user for years and this is the first time I genuinely had to send something back. Their support is inadequate and the product is like a timebomb. The issue seems to be that there are settings within the firmware on the headset itself that get modified and there's no hard reset on the device to return anything to a factory setting so once it breaks, its broken for good. https://www.reddit.com/r/razer/comments/9l16np/razer_nari_microphone_not_functional_on_windows/ Worth a read before you buy.

    Console players STAY AWAY

I was excited to buy these since razer is such a known gaming company and these had great reviews. Now I am shocked how anyone rated this highly. Initially, the sound was distant, like listening through a can. The surround sound only seemed to work when it wanted to. On top of this, Razer has a software that allows you to change the settings for sound, surround sound, lighting, mic options, etc. Firstly, it doesn’t work on mac. Secondly, the sound was still terrible after adjusting, and researching the best settings. The WORST part about these headphones was the Mic. The mic picks up your headset output so your friends can hear your game and their voices. If you turn mic sensitivity down, it still comes through. If you are a PC player, I heard there are some work arounds for these issues. In my opinion there are way too many issues and way too many complications. I bought a Steelseries 3 and its wayyyyyy better and half the price.

    Brutal

Worst gaming headphones I’ve ever used. Having used mostly turtle beach these were absolutely brutal. Super uncomfortable and unnecessarily heavy. You can’t even properly adjust the foam head band because they put a metal frame around it, so get ready for sweaty ear. And I’m talking sweatier than D1 trials. Also the voice quality sounds more sour than Mike mangino playing blackout. 1 star terrible, if you are in the market for a wireless headset get the hyper x cloud. Same price and don’t sound sour, they are also lighter and much more adjustable which means no hot ear.

    Disappointed

To say that this headset was a disappointment is an understatement; it was absolutely awful. The headset was too large/loose for my head, the swiveling ear cups don't lock in place and are quite loose, so they flail about, and I only received sound from the left ear cup. I love Razer products, but this headset was a huge no-go for me.
