I got this because the ASUS ROG PHONE didn't work on Verizon. This did and was supposed to be as good... it is not. It freezes loading apps. It take some time to wake up periodically. And it just isn't as smooth as the ROG.

Owned less than 4 months, well kept with case and screen protector. Purple spot starts to appear on the screen in just about the center. Then phone starts to shut off when battery says it's over 50% and shows dead battery when attempting reboot. I took off my case to find the back is swelling and separating from the phone. I reached out to support and they want me to send it in and wait 10 days, which I'm skeptical of, for the phone to be repaired. I depend on my phone for work and no other alternative was presented. Buyer beware, build quality is laughable, first Razer product I've ever purchased, will also be the last.

Runs hot during phone calls. Almost burns my ear. USB C Port was junk after just a few months. I purchased this to get rid of the hassle I was having with other phones that had less ram. I don't even game with it yet it still crashes randomly and overall performance is just as good as a cheap phone. I tried Razer. It failed. Moving on to another brand.

My phone literally bent, it had never been dropped and was very well taken care of. The screen was fine, but the outer casing was literally sitting at an angle. I had to return it this month after less than a year of ownership... so disappointed. Graphics and sound were amazing, however, when the updates stopped, that’s when it became a hassle to own.

Stay away. Replaced twice with RAZER and they aren't a very helpful company. Its like pulling teeth from a feral cat on catnip. The specs are great and its a steal if it was built well. But software glitches kill it and USB C connection is weak.. If you see these new and under $150 then consider staging one.

I bought this phone and a salesperson told it would work with Sprint. It did not! When I went to return it, they charged me a restocking fee of $45. Apparently this phone wont connect to a carrier to use for talk and text. It only works for gaming or if you live outside the US.

    great phone with compromises.

For starters the 120hz screen is a game changer for everyday use. Just swiping through the homescreen or web browsing is beyond smooth it will put a pixel to shame in that regard. The speakers are also really really good, loud with clarity and punch. The cameras now thats where things become a sore spot. When using the stock camera app the quality is really bad. If you hunt down a gcam port that works well (it took me a while) then the quality skyrockets putting it just a little behind my pixel 2 from my testing. The battery is also great it does drain a bit faster on 120hz but thats the nature of it. Standyby overnight it only dropped 1% so i call that a win. Wireless charging that is the only real negative. Due to their coil placement which they placed at the bottom half of the phone instead of the middle it only works properly on their charger. Now you can make it work on other pads by having it oriented in different ways on the pads but doing so makes it able to tip over or slide off. Reception is also great. RAM management is also great can throw as many apps as you want at it and wont have to reload them. Overall a great phone for the price vs the competition. The cons can be overlooked due to workarounds.

Purchased this phone yesterday, 02/23/19 for my 14 year old daughter's birthday and was sadly disappointed. The phone was stuck in a loop after it installed an update. She never got passed the setup screen. Returning today and going back to Samsung.

Looks good on paper but using it is starting to become a pain. Deleted all my contacts recently and tired of the other 8 workarounds I have been doing. Bluetooth is sketchy most of the time too.

After about 6 months the phone doesn't take a charge. Also the glass cracks too easily. Too expensive for these problems.
