So first off the thing has something like 19 buttons. I find it very comfortable to use. It means I can use a mouse with one hand and this with the other. Additionally saves wear and tear on a keyboard, especially important when a laptop is involved. Highly recommend

I love this thing and wish they would make a newer version honestly. I can't stand using wasd and love that I can have movement on a 8 direction "joystick" and able to have 4 more keys to map for easier input.

Really changed my game. Never used controller again after getting this. Azeron taste but Tartarus budget. Still going strong after almost 2 years and no software issues.

The Tartarus is the state of the art of keypads. I use it seamlessly in computer gaming with macros assigned to each key. It is much easier to navigate than a full keyboard as the thumb stick allows for directional input while the remaining keys allow you to execute commands without ever moving or looking at your hand. The synapse software makes it easy to customize your macros and switch between layouts for each of your games.

Great keypad, my hands are a bit larger that average so a lot of keyboards keys are too small causing a lot of keys to get hit on accident. Its very responsive and helps me play games without fat fingering a bunch of keys.

[Employee of bestbuy] This gaming pad is not bad. It certainly isn't necessary if you have a full keyboard and are comfortable with wasd input. Also, it may prevent input from a controller when playing other games without it. Otherwise, as far as the use of it goes, it functions well and works for mmorpg nicely. I wouldn't get it for most games unless you don't use controllers or are tired of standard keyboard inputs. Basically, it's a niche item that many could pass on.

Fits well in my hands. I like the design and of course razer makes good quality products. They just have the WORST customer service. But I didn’t account for that in my rating so…. A win for them.

Love the Razer Tartarus V2. Suites my needs with the directional left thumb that can be configured like a left analog and replace WASD

Got this for my son as he struggles with keyboard games. Really helps having the programmability. Space bar equivalent was a little sticky.

After using a controller for so many years, it's an adjustment switching back to mouse and keyboard, and the Tartarus is an even bigger adjustment, but if you can get past the learning curve it is fantastic. The customization options are amazing, not to mention the chroma lighting options as well, just be prepared to spend some time with it.

Overall, decent product. Software support is serviceable, lighting setup is the expected level of janky from Razer's Chroma offering, and the device itself isn't great if you have large hands. Beyond that, it's a serviceable product, as long as you don't mind hearing keyclicks from across the house.

I use this puppy every day. I'm a traditional mouse and keyboard player. Having this keypad has made things easier, and I am able to accomplish a lot of tasks quicker while in game, since I don't have to move my hand to different locations on the keyboard. Best Buy also price matched which is always great. This was a great purchase and a great value.
