15-25% deadzones that cannot be adjusted

Do not buy this until they offer an update to fix the dead zones in the sticks. The controller feels perfect otherwise. Great mechanical buttons, six extra buttons placed well, and a good, solid feel. The deadzones, though, are just too big and the firmware does not allow them to be updated in games. It will get 5 stars if the dead zones get fixed.

THE BREAKDOWN: The Razer Wolverine V2 Chroma is a great controller and is packed with gamer features. I am 6 ft and have fairly large hands and this controller feels amazing and familiar. This controller is not too heavy or not too light, it feels perfectly balanced. I like that controller has rubber on the sides to help with my, grip unlike my go to wireless controller for my series X. This controller has 6 extra buttons that you won’t find on my original wireless controller. There are 4 buttons on the backside and 2 bumper buttons. There are also trigger locks to make the trigger pull shorter, thus allowing you to pull it faster. There are replacement joysticks that come with the controller if you would like to swap out. These are magnetic and pretty easy to remove and replace. The lights are customizable and really cool. You can customize through the app. I like the lights and think that they are a cool thing, but I really don’t pay attention to them while playing. This controller also uses an USB-C connection which is a nice upgrade. PRO’s: -Very stylish in appearance - Customizable lights - 6 additional buttons - Interchangeable thumbstick caps CON’s: -At the top end on price, you could get the wireless for $30 more -the L-shaped hand grips do take some time to get used to SUMMARY: Overall, this product worked as intended, and I would recommend this to a friend if they are in the market for device like this.

It was an ok controller, it felt comfortable in the hands. The part that killed it for me was the placement of the rear buttons. It bugged me so much and felt awkward to click that I couldn’t handle using it as a daily controller.

Can't reassign the face buttons. Doesn't work with synapse. Can't re map the sticks. Can't map key binding on pc. PC requires separate windows store app to work. Absolutely garbage if buying for pc gaming. If a PC game doesn't natively support controller than this won't work. Can't configure this for macros or mouse and keyboard functions. I can't get over the fact that I can't remap the directional pad or the four abyx buttons. If I map y to the paddles than why would I still need y on the face buttons. You have 6 mapable buttons and you can only map abxy and LeftRightUpDown. Dissatisfied and feel like I got scammed out of 150. Will be returning today.

It is a high quality contoller. However, i returned for the following reasons: 1. The shape feels awkward compared to a regular xbox controller. 2. Its wired. Both of these didnt justify the price for me.

The usb-c port on this controller is god awful. I bought a second controller hoping that the first one was a fluke. If you move around at all while the controller is plugged in, it will disconnect the controller and take multiple seconds to reconnect. The actual controller is awesome and feels nice. I just wish i could use it effectively.

The Razer - Wolverine V2 Chroma Pro Gaming Controller for Xbox overall is a good controller. There are some very useful features and a few that could be improved upon. Pros: There is no stick drift. The buttons feel nice and are very responsive. They feel like mouse buttons. The paddles on the back work well, same with the extra buttons on top. The customizable sticks are great and I will even use one of the attachments forever now. The LEDs are nice and match my keyboard and mouse. Cons: I wish the paddles were able to be taken off. Sometimes if I rest the controller on my leg, it pushes the back paddles accidentally. The menu and pause buttons are in strange spot. They are uncomfortable there, but something I will need to get used to. I wish it was Bluetooth and wireless (personal opinion) but still, not a huge problem. I also wish the Xbox button lit up. Overall a very good controller and definitely now the main one I use. Has way more features than a standard controller and the customization is great.

Having used an xbox elite v2 previously this is definitely a sub par product. It feels light and cheap, the face buttons feel and click like a mouse, and I don't believe it has the rear trigger rumble motors. For the same price go for the xbox elite even if this is on sale.
