    Best Controller on the Market

After using a Xbox elite series 2 controller for so long and then using this controller I am blown away. The feel of the controller is so comfortable that hands don’t hurt after long sessions of gaming. The response of the button clicks which are like mouse clicks are awesome! Loving the analog controls with no stick drift and even the triggers feel like clicking a mouse. The whole look and feel of the controller is amazing and it makes me wonder why I never even experienced these controllers before as more companies are starting to make them for competitive gaming. The Razor Wolverine V3 Pro controller is by far the best on the market as it also gives you a choice on if you want to use it on Xbox, PS5 or PC. I would definitely recommend this controller to any casual or competitive gamer. It’s definitely worth the price.

The ONLY controller I now use for Xbox

Razer Wolverine V3 Pro feels like the premium controller the Xbox Elite Series 2 wanted to be. The first thing you notice is how beefy and solid it feels in your hands. Compared to Microsoft’s controller, the Wolverine feels sturdier, more durable, and built to handle intense gaming sessions without feeling fragile. The buttons are incredibly snappy and responsive, especially during fast-paced shooters where reaction time matters. Firefights genuinely felt tighter and more immediate because of the tactile clicky inputs. The rear buttons are another huge improvement — they feel stronger, more reliable, and capable of taking a beating without feeling mushy or loose over time like some competing controllers. Razer absolutely nailed the performance side of this controller. If you want something that feels competitive, durable, and responsive all at once, the Wolverine V3 Pro is one of the best premium controllers currently available.

So far an excellent controller. Still disappointed that there are a few older games it is not compatible with but that may just be steam itself. All that aside. Works great for all the games I use it for so for. Quick reaction times. Great feel in the hands. For a hard core gamer it definitely works.

The Razer Wolverine V3 Pro is hands-down one of the best controllers I’ve used for competitive gaming. Right out of the box, it feels premium—solid build, responsive buttons, and a comfortable grip that holds up during long sessions. The wireless connection is rock-solid with virtually zero latency, and the fast mechanical triggers make a noticeable difference in FPS and action games. What really sets it apart are the six remappable buttons and the customization options via the Razer Controller app. I was able to fine-tune everything from sensitivity to RGB lighting, tailoring the controller to my exact playstyle. Whether I’m on Xbox Series XS or PC, it delivers consistent, tournament-grade performance. If you’re serious about gaming and want a controller that gives you an edge, the Wolverine V3 Pro is absolutely worth it.

Previously an avid Elite 2 user and decided to try another premium controller in hopes for better longevity. 1 month in and no real complaints. Only drawbacks are not being able to use the controller to power the device on, less ability in controller settings customization, and no clear warning the controller is dying. Otherwise it's lightweight, tight sticks, and the design allows for natural grip without accidentally pressing programmable bumper buttons. The real test will be longevity.

Razer Wolverine V3 Pro W Xbox Almost Perfect!

Razer Wolverine V3 Pro Wireless Xbox Controller – Almost Perfect! Quick breakdown: Pros: Ergonomic and solid build Razer’s innovative mouse switch tech in paddles, bumpers, and triggers Wireless capability for Xbox Includes a top-notch carry case Hall effect thumbsticks Exceptional 1000 Hz polling rate on PC for amazing performance Cons: Battery life isn’t as good as the standard Xbox controller Sometimes struggles to connect via Razer HyperSpeed Wireless Quite expensive Still requires a USB receiver for use on both Xbox and PC despite being wireless, which is inconvenient The controller feels durable and perfectly designed, with well-placed rear paddles. The extra bumper buttons and mouse switch technology make for rapid responses. On PC, the performance is outstanding, especially with the 1000 Hz mode, though the battery life could be better. Occasionally, it takes a while to connect and doesn’t always turn on the Xbox. I ended up returning it because the requirement for a USB receiver was a significant inconvenience for me. However, this shouldn't deter anyone looking for a high-quality, competitive gaming controller. Overall, it's built to last and stands out as one of the best options available. Highly recommend! If you've read my review and have any suggestions on what you'd like to see in future reviews, or if you have any recommendations for products you'd like reviewed next, please let me know! I’ve purchased pretty much every controller brand you can think of when it comes to Xbox and pc compatibility. I would say that this controller feels the most responsive and the back buttons have the best layout and comfort. The instinct pro and valor pro are ok, but this controller is miles ahead in my opinion. I love the mechanical buttons and mouse click triggers for fps games. I also like that razer didn’t overdue it on rgb lighting and focused solely on comfort and accessibility. I don’t get the thumbstick issues and input lag that people are discussing… it could be thst they didn’t use the app and lower deadzones. I keep my deadzones at 3 percent and they feel extremely responsive in Fortnite, cod, halo, and other shooter games. This controller is a top contender and I main this over all my games or controllers! I highly recommend you buy this controller at Best Buy and always get the extended warranty. No matter what controller you get, they will eventually need to be replaced. The Wolverine v3 pro also has quick access profile changing, which means you don’t have to access the app anymore. The firmware updated recently and now I can switch profiles within game :) lastly, it is 1000hz capable on pc and the case it comes with is high quality material!

It’s good it works fine and just a well as a brand new controller should, however the promoting of wireless connectivity is my issue because every now and then it’ll freeze up as if it’s dead, while the light will be on; while playing fps games and I’ll just go in a circle for a brief moment and the audio does crack sometimes when using when it does it get to low battery. It’s not often but it’s been about 3-4 times. I’ve had the controller for just about a month now. Another minor problem is that when using the wireless hyperspeed connection, if it’s a remote controller and it has direct usb connection to the Xbox shouldn’t I then be able to turn the Xbox on without having to connect a USB-C cable.

Controller is great overall, mechanical buttons feel amazing, the fact that you can switch the triggers from analog to mouse click, build quality is great, ergonomics are fantastic (i prefer to the elite series 2 but may not be the case for you). Basically i love this controller but since i do not own a windows PC and cant easily access one, i was unable to update the firmware. I tried a virtual machine for windows on my macbook but it didnt work (i tried many, many different routes). This controller needs the firmware update in order to function properly and allow you to customize different aspects of the controller, so sadly i had to return it. Definitely wouldve kept it if i could update!

Fast, responsive, and ergonomic. I tried out a few other conteollers (Scuf, TB Stealth Ultra, Victrix BFG) and this is easily the best. Incredibly low latency, well built, clicky buttons, customizable triggers, wired or wireless. This controller has it all!

I love checking out what razer, scuf, and gamesir are cooking when it comes to Xbox controllers. The wolverine is a very good controller, the build quality is easily the best, it has those nice tactile buttons if you like your controller sounding like a mouse. The price is fair for build quality but my one gripe is I’m not a fan of the back paddles I feel like for me their placement isn’t great. I feel like a scuf controller has better paddle placement and I couldn’t stay on the wolverine for that reason. Obviously this is a preference.

I've just received mine in the mail yesterday and here's my opinion. 1. Build Quality- Excellent. this controller has a great build. it's not as heavy as some other controllers (Like the Xbox Elite Series 2 ) but it's also not as light as your standard Xbox controller either. it's the middle ground of perfect. the materials on this controller are hard plastic. very similar to your standardize Xbox controller but...more premium? (if that makes any sense at all.) it is Bluetooth but with a USB Dongle. Now I know for most people that could be annoy Literally all the buttons are clicky.(Exclude the joysticks and the main triggers) but the A, B, X & Y are a completely new experience, and may I dare say a really good one. even the Xbox logo itself is clicky and instant. and this controller introduces a new hover-like D-Pad, I myself have come to like it a lot (To turn the controller on you have to press & hold the Xbox logo for 3 seconds) 2. Triggers- The triggers on the New Razer Wolverine V3 Pro Wireless are overall fairly great, now if you're looking for something on the "Scuf Instant Trigger level" Unfortunately these do not provide you with that Ultra Instant trigger pull experience, but it does come really close, closer than most on the market. so, although it is pretty high on the price range it's not nearly as high as the Scuf coming to a whopping $230.00 3. Connectivity- The connectivity on the New Razer Wolverine V3 Pro Wireless has a good solid connection despite what others say, and for my copy it was a really simple connect to my Xbox, 4. Button Mapping- The Button Mapping feature on this controller is fantastic! you have the options to do manually "On The Fly" and or on the Razer app that's either on your phone, PC, or Xbox. there are a total of 6 remappable buttons on the controller. 4 behind the controller, (I personally use them in place of the D-Pad) and 2 on top of the controller. I use one of them (Top right) as the "X" for FPS games, so I don't have to let go of the joysticks Conclusion- The Razer Wolverine V3 Pro Wireless is overall a great and perfect controller for any hardcore competitive gamer out there who likes the luxury of having their thumbs free of any distractions (such as lifting you thumb off the right joystick to hit the "X-button" to reload mid fight, instead of keeping your crosshairs on the enemy or looking for a way out of that sticky situation) this controller (with time) will give you a one up on thinking without lifting your thumbs off the joysticks. Thank you for reading my opinions on this controller as a Gamer myself I am constantly playing "The Finals, Battlefield, Call of Duty and "Overwatch"

Honestly I have tried a lot of controllers, and I like this one the best although it may be at the top end for pricing I haven't experienced any stick drift at this point and doubt i will because of the Hall Effect Sensors, tbh having the extra two buttons at the top m1 and m2 have turned out to be serious upgrade. For example in BF6 I use one to zero my scope and another to grab a gadget out. It allows me not to have to remove my thumb from the joystick as much. The buttons/paddles on the bottom are way more comfortable then say the widely used paddles I have had in the past, that cause hand cramps. At times I had issues getting it to sync to program it, but I was able to easily remedy that hence the 5 starts still. that 2k polling rate is great for responsiveness, i look forward to seeing razer progress to 8k polling on controlers like they have on their mouses.

Quality product. I’ve been using it for about 3 weeks and it’s great. The mouse click buttons fell good and it’s very responsive. My only gripe is the triggers aren’t as fast to click as some of the other pro controllers I’ve used which can cause you to lose gunfights, especially with pistols…but at the flip of a switch you can turn the mouse click for the triggers off and use the app to adjust the trigger dead zone which may alleviate that issue(I haven’t tinkered with all the settings as of yet). 5 stars if not for that issue and maybe it’s a hair too small for big hands…and some better textures would be nice.

Great controller. Wish I still had it. Tragic story of 3am retail therapy after 10 year breakup .. returned bought a TV for my mom instead, she needed a new TV because while going through cancer chemo her previously one broke. Great great for arthritis or people who work in IT . After a long day it felt like heaven. not too heavy but not too light, but it is very fragile!! Especially the thumb caps. I would replace them immediately after opening.. when I noticed mine had the white rings (protective things) were not split (so they could easier to take off around it) that caused the bottom of the thumb cap to have a weird dust. I was not sure if that would have affected the performance during the time I used it but I didn't want to take chances. But yeah. If you have ever seen my previous reviews. 5/5 product. Don't retail therapy at 3am after a 10 year break up while eating Krispy Kreme donuts out of portillos double fudge cake shake . Not gonna be a good time.
