Ordered this on razer.com but after seeing that guy give it 1 star I had to review it here. Its a flawless experience, 1000Hz on PC and working wondefully for over a week with no issues. Tested it with Sekiro and been playing rocket league with no problems at all, it’s been a great time. Tactile buttons feel fantastic, dpad is amazing, back buttons i can see being useful. It’s a great controller for $99 with hall effect sticks and phenomenal build quality

    Razer Wolverine v3 TE

Overall the controller is solid, but it does have a few things that bother me. Out of the box when the sticks are set to the lowest dead zone they start 2 drift! Which I find hilarious considering they have effect technology and what not lol. The stick tension was wayyyyyy 2 stiff with no way of adjusting them. But for the price the tournament is definitely worth!!!

    Great Value with Concise Design

The Wolverine V3 TE is truly a great controller. It has a sleek and simple black design remappable back buttons and top mid bumpers that you can change directly from the controller or an app. All of the buttons have that satisfying mechanical feel. Stick tension is high, so it is up to preference, but honestly enjoyed that with the hall effects (no stick drift until you hit 0 deadzone, which yeah makes sense to have 2% drift with no deadzone). The 1000hz polling rate (Function+Start+A) is great! Tested it with an average of 1.2ms on the right thumbstick. The only thing that caused pain for me was the software not really being compatible with Windows 11, at least on my PC. I did reset my PC for unrelated reasons to Windows 10, and it worked perfectly. Also worked perfectly, first try on my Xbox One S. Actually, I tried the Wolverine V3 Pro and hated it compared to this. For some reason the buttons on this feel much better, the thumbsticks not being replaceable aided to it feeling snappy compared to the pro, and I do not care about wireless with a 10ft cable and 1000hz polling.

To start I just want to say I love this controller and I love the features it has. But the downsides I experienced were not what you want to see put of a $100 controller. I had stickdrift out of the box so I think they just put advertisements for hall effect but they becer actually put them in and the controller didn't work with the xbox settings so the joysticks couldn't be recalibrated. Other than that from the begining I saw that others said that the USB to USB C cord was bad and at first it was great but then even after taking great care of it, it stopped working. I still currently use the controller but I had to get a new cord and adjust my dead zones. Overall 3/5.

Wow the quality on this controller is incredible. Had the series 2 and the button quality isn’t close to this one.

    CONNECTION ISSUES

    Posted .

The controller feels good and I love the mechanical buttons.. BUT there’s one minor issue and one major issue. You can’t map stick directions on the paddles (R stick Up or Down for example) but can map literally everything else. The biggest issues though is I have had so many connection issues. The connection drops randomly mid game despite being a wired connection. The controller will stay on but nothing will work. Even after unplugging the cable and plugging it back in it’ll still bug out sometimes and give me uncontrolled stick drift. I tried to write it off as a me issues but after changing cables and babying the way I hold it, it was still happening. Therefore i returned and am trying out its competitor.

I’ve had this controller since launch day and loved it until now. I think it’s a loose usb-c port, but it keep disconnecting in the middle of games.

    Junk

Didnt even last 24 hours. It worked good before it crapped out. Sticks were a bit too stiff and dull, but buttons felt responsive w the mouse click feels. If you want to take a risk and buy, go for it. Cheap junk for me and never buying again.
